The dictionary definition of an anomaly goes something like this- Anything that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected. Alarm "blackout"
Is it possible to have alarm "blackouts" i.e. the alarm does not get triggered/raised during certain times? For exxmple, we have a CPU usage alarm on a server which works fine, but every night when the server is backed up between 10:00 and 11:00, the CPU usage triggers the alarm. It would be good if we could blackout the alarm during this time as we know the reason for the high usage, but have it trigger at all other times. Is this possible?
REST API - how to retrieve/create Web Service monitor and linked operation
Hi, I'm currently taking over the management of the Applications Manager at my client, and would like to automate as much as possible the creation/update/review of the monitors. I've looked into the REST API and was able to easily add some monitor types (like Java Runtime), but haven't found a way to do the same with WebService monitoring. I can retrieve them, but I'm not sure how to create them, and more specifically how to add an operation to it, to allow a specific method check with body and validation

App Manager
I currently have SDP Pro running in our environment licensed for 5 techs and 500 nodes along with the system tools add-on. The machine it's running on is a Win 7 Pro x64 machine with and i5 CPU and 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. I'm looking at adding the Application Manager product (50 monitors) to our environment and was debating on running it on the same box. Would this be advisable or should I look at running it on its own machine?

Database Query Monitor
I am trying to create a "Oracle query Alarm"monitor to alarm on the SAP client being opened. Below is the query that works. select CHANGEUSER, CCCORACTIV from sapsr3.t000 where mandt='900' This will return an '1' or '2', if it is a 1 then I was it to alarm. The query works and changes if the SAP client status is changed. But if I set and alarm on the query then it only works once and then seems to delete/disappear. So then it does not work. Any one have any ideas why this happens ? the query continues

Appman & Sqlserver 2012 SP2 memory leak issues known?
Hi, We are using Appman (manageengine) with a SqlServer 2012 SP2 as repository. The db server gradually uses more swap-space and I've the idea appman is causing a memory leak in the instance. The server has 12 gbyte of memory and the appman instance can use max 3 gbyte. There is another sqlserver instance which can also use max 3gbyte. This the memory allocation by the appman instance: My question is: is there any memory leak issue known when using a SqlServer 2012 SP2 instance? regards, Ivan

Script Monitor Numeric Values Scalling
I use Custom script monitor to get some data Via Python scripts. The scripts outputs the data like speeda: 130127511.439 capacity:779207245107000 The speeda attribute is in Bit/sec and capacity in Byes. I would like for the number to be scaled to MB/s (for NW speed) & GB or TB (for capacity). Basically I want to divide the Value by 1024 How can I achieve that? Curently the graphs have a long number, it is difficult to read. -Thanks Vijay
