APNS Certificate Expiry: Upgrade Applications Manager for Apple’s Push Notifications

APNS Certificate Expiry: Upgrade Applications Manager for Apple’s Push Notifications

The Apple Push Notification Services (APNS) certificate that Applications Manager uses expires every year and must be renewed. This is just to make sure end-users do not face any discrepancy with their push notifications.

Applications Manager’s last APNS certificate expired on 10th of October, 2017. Consequently, users running older versions of Applications Manager will stop receiving push notifications from Applications Manager on their iPhone effective from the 10th of October, 2017.

Who will be affected by this?

Only the users running Applications Manager builds older than 13420 and using Applications Manager’s iPhone app with push notifications enabled.

How do I get push notifications again?

We have renewed our APNS certificate in newer versions of Applications Manager. All you have to do is upgrade to build 13420 or above and you will start receiving push notifications on your iPhone again. You do not need to update the iPhone app.

To move to the latest build, please download and install the appropriate service pack from this page:
