Cannot integrate ServiceDesk Plus with OpManager
OpManager version: 11500 Servicedesk plus version: 9103 I'm using self-signed certificate for OpManager and 3rd party valid certificate for Servicedesk plus both running https. OpManager unable to select partition detail of device (%) via SNMP protocol
Hi, OpManager version 11 installed currently My server SNMP traps and SNMP credinatals are properly setup. And servers able to rediscover / update the status through WebGUI. But I unable to see the "partition detail of device (%) via SNMP protocol" while I want to add new monitor. Any idea?
Cannot find deleted template
Version 12 of Central with Probe (Enterprise I believe) - So I made a new device template, Windows 2012 R2 server, and associated it with MIB .1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.2 and tried to assign it to a couple 2012 R2 servers. I couldn't get any monitors to report back anything in inventory afterwards though, so I deleted the template and tried to re-create it, but I when I do, I get the following error: .1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.2 OID is associated to [Windows 2012 R2,] Templates. V12.2 - Many functions no longer appear

Monitoring systems that use DHCP
Is there a way to automatically update IP addresses on machines that use DHCP, or change IP’s for other reasons? It seems like once a week I have a device reporting as down, because the IP has changed. I know I could change some settings to go by name instead of IP, but I don't think we want to go that direction either.

Increasing Heap Size on NCM
Has anyone have issues with the low heap size on NCM? It's showing me it uses about 600MB while it only has 100MB heap size. I tried tuning the heap size by executing the -Xms and -Xmx commands but it looks like it needs to point to a certain java "object" (or script? not that familiar with JVM). Wondering if anyone have any experience tuning the heap size and can share the command line they used. Thanks

Hello i'm triing to edit a trap processor for a new trap, i set some values in mach critera and i save it. But when i open the trap in monitors this values are not present/saved. How i can solve this issue ? Regards Rocco

Is there an issue with this version v12? I installed the latest version (free version) and I keep getting the WebServer port is occupied. No matter what port I use i get the same error. I have reinstalled the software a couple of times and it works initially but after a while it stops working again.
opmanager v12 MIB import
Hi, I am trying to add some MIB's for ubiquiti wireless devices but i am having some issues. I have copied the MIB files to opmanager/mibs but when i go to add monitor > snmp > from MIB the mib files are not showing up, is there something else i need to do to import them? v12 doesnt seem to have alot of documentation for it.
OpManager not displaying the correct model for my devices.
Hi there, Im having issues with the OpManager deployed at an enterprise. The issue is that, i have OpManager running and monitoring the switches at an enteprise, but the OpManager is not displaying the correct "model" for the switch that Im monitoring. I have Cisco Catalyst 6500 series WS-C6509-E running and monitored by the OpManager, however in the EOL/EOS report that was produced, the OpManager displayed the switch as "6500 series 6509" which is different model than the switch running. Hi There I don't know why but everytime when I use the OPM After 1 hr that I use it i have to close and reopen the tab, cause the page start with about 300Kb of memory and when I close the tab is about 1.3Gb...and I can't work cause everything is really slow. Flow Monitor not working
I'm trying to get flow monitoring working on our switches. I've enabled it on the Dell switches, tested this with wireshark and sflow traffic is coming into the server. But I can't get any information to display in OpManager. Is there something I need to install? I can't find a plug in anywhere on the website.

Changing NetMask of an already discovered network
Dear Sirs,- We are currently evaluating OpManager and so far it is very impressive. We have already added and configured quite a large number of devices, by manually adding them. Only now are we starting to look into "Networks", and have quickly discovered that one of our main networks was already discovered, but is registered with a wrong NetMask. Hi There I wish to add custom dial with Fan Status I found the OID Object : .1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45.1.10.2.6.1.1.1.1.19.10 In the MIB browser works fine: h3cEntityExtErrorStatus.10:-->fanError(41) When I add the monitor in my device template how can I add in the units field to see the status like an error? OpManager 11600 SSH monitoring "no matching key exchange method found" on client
Is anyone else getting "no matching key exchange method found" in their Linux monitored devices auth logs? I believe recent versions of OpenSSH come configured with Logjam protection enabled which takes away the only method OpManager had of SSH'ing to devices. Does anyone know how to get OpManager to step up the methods it uses to talk to an SSH service? I don't believe in crippling security just to get monitoring going again so I'm not considering degrading the settings on the monitored device.

Hi. I integrate the Serverscheck to OPManager and I want to monitor the temperature in the room. I also want it to alert me when the temperature is high or critical. But the conditions are (Not Contains, Contains, Not Equal, Equal, Match Regex). Please see attached photo.

SNMP trap FLOOD
Hi Opman guru's, For Opmanager TRAPS, We need to be notified for every received SNMP Trap, EXCEPT, when there’s a major failure and there’s a flood of sent SNMP Traps – in such situation, we want ‘policing’ type of throttling. For example, if rate of sent SNMP Traps exceeds 5 within a period of say 1 minute, then I don’t want to be notified any more until the rate decreases. This is mainly an issue with E-Mail to SMS as we are getting floded is it possible to tume this. Thanks, Stephen

Hello in free version of opmanager 12.2 there is a limitation on new trap ? (i'm waiting the conversion of license file from the vendor) I'm trying to add new trap from mib and from create trap proccessor but does not work. if a try to add from mib once added if i try to enable does not work. If i create a Trap preppocessor des not save Match Criteria and Rearm Criteria , and when i save the new trap i'm not able to enable it. Regards Franco

OpManager 12.2 session timeout not working
Hi, I have OpManager 12.2 Central Server & Probes installed on our network and I'm attempting to set a session timeout, so the user is logged out after 10 minutes of inactivity. I achieved this in ServiceDesk Plus by editing the session-timeout attribute in 'ServiceDesk\server\default\conf\web.xml'. However a similar approach does not work for OpManager. The auto-refresh interval has also been disabled but this hasn't helped. How do I set a session timeout for all users in OpManager? Thanks
Run a perl script under windows
Hello, I have a perl script I have removed from a nagios system. I have installed Perl on the Opmanager server and can successfully run the script from CMD on the opmanager server and get the output im expecting. I now want to be able to have opmanager monitor this script and generate an alarm based on the output. My issue is for the life of me I cant get the script to run. The commands I issue in the CMD line are "perl check_cvprocessing.pl cvprocessing 60 180" How do I get this to run in opmanager?

Opmanager 12 licensing question
Just a couple of questions with regards to licensing between v11600 and v12.2 1. How would licensing work for upgrading from v11600 to v12.2 as we are currently licensed for only 100 devices with no plugins but 12.2 Enterprise Edition allows more devices than 100 devices and now has the plugins as standard? 2. We have been evaluating 12.2 Enterprise Edition and have it almost configured the same as (if not better than) our 11600 setup but with nearly 200 devices. Is it possible to transfer the licensing
