Service Desk 6.0 to slow !
Hi, I have the Service Desk 6.0 runing on a server with Win2003 Server SP 1, the processor is a Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz and it has 1 GB of RAM. Since a couple of months is going slower when it shows the request views. Is there any procedure to troubleshot this kind of events? My actual DB has about 12500 reques. Thanks in advance ! Apadilla.

Default Selections for Asset Additional Fields
I have configured Asset Additional Fields to have a default value. When I receive an item and go to Edit Resource the defaults are not there. Also, is there are way to set the Asset Additional Fields date/time fields to always have a date of the day it is received? Is there a way to set a default selection for Asset state? Thanks

Survey Report
Anyone know of a way to create a report so it looks exactly like the survey results list under Admin tab? Within the Report tab I cannot recreate this report. Report would contain: Subject, Requester Name, Created Date, Technician, Completed Date, Ratings. This report could then be automated and emailed with the ratings and drill down capability via subject. Joe
Scan Workstations Mimum permissions
Does anyone know what are the minimum permissions required for the account used to scan and discover workstations. Does this account have to be a local admin or can it just be a local user. Or can it be just a member of a specific local group. Thanks
Domain Scan Problem
Hello. I am evaluating SDP using the free professional edition on Windows 2003 Server SP1. The server is joined to the domain. After installing the software and logging in to SDP application with the only local admin technician, I cannot scan a Win2k domain. I'm having sporadic issues with SD+ in regards to entries saving. On various screens (e.g. New Request, Reply to a request, etc) when I select Save (or Apply or whichever "button" effectively submits the page results), I routinely get no response from the server. I'll get Connecting to SD+ IP address in the bar at the bottom and the firefox progress indicator never progresses. SD+ v 7.21 technicians could not come into the program
Good afternoon. After updating from version 7.2 to version 7.21, technicians could not come into the program, using local accounting records. The program informed, what not a true name of the user or the password. Under domain accounting records, technicians came into the program. It was necessary it will be rolled away on version 7.20.

Edit the details of workstation
Hello, I can see the hardware details of workstation on the Hardware tab There's four sections such as workstation Details, Network Details Discs and Drive Details, Other Details. But these information only come out by scanned workstation. when I input the information manually, I can't find any field as I've seen the details on the Hardware tab. There's no detailed input field on the edit page such like Disk's information, Additional NIC, Something like that. How can I input the details manually
What triggers a notification when Request is updated
I have enabled "Acknowledge Requester by Email when the request is updated". What criteria activates this? I have tried adding a note and a "Worklog" entry to an existing ticket and have not received a notification. Thanks Chuck
Hyperthreaded CPU count off
It appears as though the inventory is reporting hyperthreqaded CPUs as double the total count on the box. Is there a hotfix or workaround for this error?

Error Code Need Help
Dear Support We are trying on the Asset Scanning. Previously, we can successfully scan one of the workstation. However, today i saw the item inside that workstation is duplicated. 4 x 1 GB become 8 x 1GB listed So , firstly i try to rescan again to see whether it can be update, it promoted some error where i have quickly skipped. Then i deleted the workstation and try to rescan again. It give me the following error FAILURE :Database exception while discovering workstation. : Cannot delete or update

I instaled the recent(today) downloaded version (7020) in a new server and tried to restore the backup made with version 7014. It doesnt work. How can I mark a request as "Pending Closed"? I would like to mark a trouble ticked as pending closed, the requester gets an email saying that they have three days to update the status of the ticket or it will automatically be closed. We have too many open tickets that are several months old that we don't know if they are still active or should have been closed a long time ago.

Hi Helpers, We get a user login issue h**p 500 on a particular terminal server with Service Desk Plus. I can't put in the tt above as its blocked.
