Certificate Error when using Office 365 logins to SDP on demand
When users login using their Microsoft/Office 365 credentials to our helpdesk, they receive a certificate error. Using their normal Zoho login synced from on-premise AD does not give this error. They also do not receive this error when loggin into their normal web-apps under Office 365. When viewing the certificate, it says: issued to PositiveSSL Multi-Domain issued by Untrusted Bitdefender CA What is causing this error and how can it be corrected?
REST API: on creating request from template the description is not copied.
Hello, I have an issue. I've created incident template with pre-filled description field. Then I'm trying to to create new request using REST API. I do not specify the description in my api request. So, description value from template should be inserted. But it not. I have "No description" value in description field. Missing Assets
I am just reviewing my Workstations for an Corporate review and have noticed that there are Workstations that were showing in December that are no longer in our asset list. I thought it odd that we all of a sudden had software licenses that were not being used. I checked with my technicians and they told me they have not been on the asset module since before Christmas. Nothing was deleted. We are currently missing at least 4 workstations that have been there since we started using the SDP On Demand.
Consolidate / Merge Software into Single Entity
We have an SAP Crystal Reports Server that when scanned has added 1232 additional pieces of software in the Software list. I don't really care to see every singel file in SAP listed as a piece of software. How can I set this up so that ODSDP knows that it is part of the Crystal Reports Server Software package and the only thing that shows up in my list is Crystal Reports Server? Thanks, Liam

Not able to see assets but able to see software
Hi Team, I have installed prob on domain controller also verified key as well. I have done domain scan but only able to see software but not able to see assets details. Is there a way to merge Non-IT Assets? We have some non-IT Assets that have all the information except they are not linked to the Purchase Order. There is a separate Non-IT Asset linked to the Purchase Order.

Date and time formatting in SDPOndemand
Guys, Is it possible to do something about the way SDPOndemand handles and shows these dates. SEE screenshot below. In listviews of requests, some of these 'dates' are confusing, cumbersome and very long.... This is probably due to the way SDPOndemand handles these, as date and time seem integrated into each other as one field. Better would be to keep separate fields for dates and times. It is also questionable why some of the formats in the screenshot below, show the timezone difference, and others

I have a consumable "Installation and Configuration" for my vendor "Remmicom"... but i also have "Installation and Configuration" for various other vendors... Scanning of vmware ESXi Hosts
In our SDP On-Premise version, the VMware ESXi Hosts were scanned with no problems. When scanning from SDP On-Demand, only the Virtual Machines are being scanned. The hosts come back as not being scanned. I have checked and I am able to SSH to the hosts as well as ping them using the FQDN. Thanks, Liam
SDP Notification: ERROR : Mail dropped
We are receiving a number of emails that are sporadic on which users replies to tickets will drop the email. Unless the user CC's a technician the mail is obviously inaccessible as it is deleted once the process completes. If a ticket is created by a user and a response is sent to that user everything is fine. When the user tries to reply to the response and makes no changes to the subject or anything else we receive the notification "SDP Notification: ERROR : Mail dropped" And the reason comes
Projects - Accidentally deleted a big project
Guys, I've accidentally deleted my biggest project, and i need help with it to recover it. I cannot find a 'recycle bin' of something alike. In the System log i can see the deleted project. I also discovered why this probably happened: when you are in tasks view (as i was), there are actually two Delete buttons visible - and i accidentally clicked the wrong one offcourse. Domain Verification Failed
I am trying to setup our helpdesk and have successfully verified our primary domain (dynamixconsulting.co.uk). I now want to verify a sub-domain (support.dynamixconsulting.co.uk) but I cannot get the CNAME verification to work ! SDPOndemand - instability and not loading pages

Tasks will not keep Group assigned in an Incident Template.
I am creating a new Incident Template and I want to assign a task to a Group and not an individual technician. If I assign a task to an individual technician it will create the task correctly but if I try to just assign it to a group it will not assign the task to a group.
Project additional fields - don't show up

Hey guys, I've stumbled across an issue: i cannot add additional fields. "The maximum number of additional fields of type Text has been reached. No more fields can be added." To check i started to count the additional fields I have created across all types: i counted 10 additional fields in my SDPOndemand over all modules (request, requester, technician, problem, change, project, ...) Can u allow more fields please?
User login from another website?
Just wondering, is it possible to link service desk plus to another website so that a login box on that site directs them to the service desk plus site when they click the login box? Or when they logout they are redirected back to the original website? Just wanting to integrate it into our own website. Thanks

Provisioning App returning 500 Internal Server Error - API102: Error occured
The provisionning app returns an error "Failed : API102: Error occured" and if I check the logs I can see there is a 500 internal server error being returned. We have 1770 more users to migrate so they may log in and send requests through via Web Portal. 197 were migrated successfully. Please tell me why we cannot import more then roughly 200 and please upgrade the limit to allow the additional users.
New Technician - stuck in a loop on Zoho and SDP login
Guys, I've assigned a user the Technician Role, enabled login for him. He accepted the invitation that was sent out to his mailadres and somehow got caught up in the Zoho account pages. I subsequently went to disable his login, and enable it again, so he gets a new invitation: he doesn't get the invitation email. Assets - additional fields visibility
Guys, Don't get me wrong, i love all the new announced functionality and additions... some are more needed then others... but i think the CMDB needs a bit more love. If i add a additional field for assets, it is visible for ALL assets. Let me give a practical example. PO name already in use
Guys, I'm intensely using PO's. When creating a new PO, i cannot use the same PO name: this is illogical. The Order No is unique, that's fine. But the PO name being unique is somewhat awkward. I have literally a few hundred PO's... so this becomes a real pain to me. I do not like to have to think thru the naming I use when creating new PO's. Windows Phone 10 Application Error
I have downloaded the Windows phone 10 application and added our server. I click on save, the app then takes me to the next screen which is the username and password. At the bottom of the application I receive an error "net_servererror, 404, Not Found". Is this application intended for the ServiceDesk on-demand or the on-premise?
Firewall blocking scan

I am trying to run a network scan and I am having some problems with it. It runs a simple scan and very basic info is written into asset inventory. I can see basic info for workstations that probe collected on given network range. However, it fails to collect detailed info by pushing SDPOD_MiniAgent onto the workstations. Our SQL Server is setup send an email to ODSDP when there is a problem with a maintenance task or service so that a ticket is created automatically. Our ODSDP is setup to notify our users when a request is closed. When we close a request from the SQL Server, ODSDP is automatically sending an email to the SQL Server Address.Since there is no email account existing for the SQL server, only an email address, there is a bounceback and the request is re-opened. Using SSO: Requesters login name different to Single Sign On login name
Hello, I'm currently in the the process of setting up a Single Sign On method for SP on demand, at the moment I have the users imported using the Provisioning App. However this assigns their login name as "John.Smith@Domain.com" where as our SSO uses the login name "JohnS@Domain.com" Obviously the SSO won't work in this situation. The only fix I've found at the moment is to manually add a second email ID for the user in the zoho control panel: https://business.zoho.com/cpanel/index.do#dashboard
