Don't get me wrong, i love all the new announced functionality and additions... some are more needed then others... but i think the CMDB needs a bit more love.

If i add a additional field for assets, it is visible for ALL assets. Let me give a practical example.

1. I'm adding a new product type: SIM card, and set it as 'component' - 'non-it'
2. Next i add a few new fields to assets: SSN, PIN, PUK, EAN codes

The endresult is that all these additional fields are visible in all extra created components: PIN, PUK, EAN and SSN - specific for SIM-cards, are also visible if i want to add Creditcard terminals or labelprinters.

Additional fields should be able to be added on a per-produc-type basis, just as it is currently possible in SDP on-premises.
