View all request except the one from one support group?
Is this possible? I know I can setup roles for every support group so they can only see their own or their groups requests but I would like do to the opposite. Allow all support groups to see all requests except the ones from one support group. There is too many downside for me to use the current role approach because my support groups work with one and another and need to see each others requests but one group in particular deals with sensitive requests that no one else should see but them.

OpManager 12.2 session timeout not working
Hi, I have OpManager 12.2 Central Server & Probes installed on our network and I'm attempting to set a session timeout, so the user is logged out after 10 minutes of inactivity. I achieved this in ServiceDesk Plus by editing the session-timeout attribute in 'ServiceDesk\server\default\conf\web.xml'. However a similar approach does not work for OpManager. The auto-refresh interval has also been disabled but this hasn't helped. How do I set a session timeout for all users in OpManager? Thanks

Is there a way to traceroute to host from EventLog Analyzer that I'm not seeing? Trying to troubleshoot connectivity, but I can only go host to server right now...
Alert on account usage during non-working hours
I would like to alert on domain admin logins during non-working hours. Any idea how this could happen? I know how to setup an alert for this but I just can’t figure how to handle the off hours thing. Any help is appreciated. -Rob
Run a perl script under windows
Hello, I have a perl script I have removed from a nagios system. I have installed Perl on the Opmanager server and can successfully run the script from CMD on the opmanager server and get the output im expecting. I now want to be able to have opmanager monitor this script and generate an alarm based on the output. My issue is for the life of me I cant get the script to run. The commands I issue in the CMD line are "perl check_cvprocessing.pl cvprocessing 60 180" How do I get this to run in opmanager?

I am trying to post a value to a resource field and can't seem to do so. the purpose of the script is to take two fields, do some math and then post back a total cost While there is more to the script that preceeds this I am hoping someone can tell me what I wrong syntactically with the inputdata when I write to the host I am getting the right values from the variables I am puling from other resource fields; however, I can't seem to post $totalcost to the resource field Any advice on this would be

Opmanager 12 licensing question
Just a couple of questions with regards to licensing between v11600 and v12.2 1. How would licensing work for upgrading from v11600 to v12.2 as we are currently licensed for only 100 devices with no plugins but 12.2 Enterprise Edition allows more devices than 100 devices and now has the plugins as standard? 2. We have been evaluating 12.2 Enterprise Edition and have it almost configured the same as (if not better than) our 11600 setup but with nearly 200 devices. Is it possible to transfer the licensing
Adding a Domain
Hi, After adding a domain in Windows domain scan , while fetching the OU from Active Directory the error is ""couldn't bind to Active directory server"" . I checked the system log and its not showing any details for this error. Any help is appreciated Thanks Ahamed
problem in Change DB
I am working on a test environment to change DB from PGSQL to MS SQL but after getting successful connection i got a warning "WARNING : Invalid object name 'GlobalConfig'. Then when i tried to start the service then login - the login page wont come up, just a white screen the DB is set up on another server - is there anything i need to change? attach is the txt file i got when i did changeDBServer.bat >DBresult.txt
Import MPP: Map Resources
We're in the process of migrating from 9202 to 9212 and started testing the MS Project import feature. Is it possible to include the ability to map an assigned Task/Milestone Resource, in the .MPP file, to the Owner field in SD+? I'm assuming it was omitted because Project Members are not transferred over during the import.

When I deploy software, say Google Chrome, I configure the package to abort if the software is already installed. The pre-install check looks like this... It would be great if ME DC had a combined condition for "equal to or greater than" so that I don't have to write two rules for each and every package. Prepetual License for Test Server
Dear, I would like to know if it would be possible to get a perpetual license for our test installation. I don't mind if the asset/tech count would be decreased, though I would need something I can test new patches, plugins, and new setups on, without having to request for a license every other month. Hi, What can be the cause for "The network path was not found" error messages, when i can ping the remote machine from the DC server, and all required ports are opened from that machine to the DC ? its also associated with the correct DCDS. DCDS and DC are connected with IPSEC VPN. Thanks.

OpManger does not start

Hi I have OPM 12.200 I downloaded APM plugin and installed it on the same server. Trying to access http://serverip:9090 gives me information that I need to acces via OPM (the plugins works) But I can not find any tab in OPM regarding APM. VMManager Plus - VCSA 6.5
We just installed the VMWare vCenter Appliance (VCSA) 6.5. I'm looking at some ManageEngine tools and one of them is VMManager Plus. I cannot add the VCSA 6.5 appliance to VMManager Plus. I get a "Add Device Failed" error message. I've tried Windows Crendentials, VMWare credentials, etc. and I can't VMManager Plus to add the VCSA appliance to VMManager. Has anyone else came across this problem? Jesse

Monitoring View Cloumns and saving the filters
Hi There It would be great add a new option to active o deactivate new columns in the Monitoring View to add for example Device notes or devices dependencies fields, sort the view with these fileds. Everytime when you apply a filter by categories and open a device details or change view if you back in the monitoring view you have to apply the filter again! frustrating same problem with filter of the page (selected to see 500 devices but back to 100) Add an option to apply and save the filter status?
