Email on Asset Assign / Un-Assign

Hello

I am wanting to know if there is any feature currently,  or perhaps it can be done with a custom script that would allow the following:

I want my Service Desk Plus to send an Email to the user when an asset has been assigned / un-assigned from them.  I do not mind if this is an automatic notification when the action happens or if perhaps once I assign the asset I have to select an option for the action menu.

Some other things I would like to consider would be:
- Would it be possible to email the user and CC the Line Manager as well

Currently we create physical paperwork for asset assignment and have a user sign when we allocate the asset.  Due to the number of assets this can get messy,  not to mention the amount of paper we create.  I am looking to try to reduce our paper consumption and use the tools available and use the emails sent as a paper trail for what has been assigned.  This way hopefully there would be less mistakes on the paperwork as it would pull the asset details directly from SDP.

Perhaps there is another clever way to get around this,  if you have any suggestions please let me know.
