Target by AD Security Group
Hi all, Hope you are all keeping well. I'm hoping you can help with this question. I have several configurations that target machines based on AD Security Groups. If I pre-populate these groups prior to enabling the configuration it works great. However, my idea of using security groups was so that I could add machines at anytime...trusting that Desktop Central would be checking the security group members and amending the deployment as required. Hi, it is possible to automate certificate deployment to Desktop Central through PMP? I think we can simply substitute the certificate and store file with PMP, but I'm not sure to what files must be changed. There is a documentation to manage with PMP all ME products? Regards, Andrea Del Bravo
Looking for help with a query report
I would like to do a custom query report that lists all assets that have at least one of 5 different pieces of software installed, but I don't know how to write a query that does that. Would be looking to get the asset names and the names of which software is installed on each returned in a table. Are there any examples anyone can point to that would cover this exactly or close enough that I could modify to suit my needs? Thanks

Creating new O365 user with Exchange Online mailbox
Good day, We have ADManager Plus (Build 6540) configured for O365 integration and am working on a new user creation template. Most of the settings I'm good with but am a little confused as to what selections need to be made on the Exchange tab to create the new mailbox. We are in the middle of our Exchange Online migration and have about 1/5 of our mailboxes migrated already - the remainder will be done this weekend. With that in mind, I wanted to start creating new users with their mailbox already
High Paging File Utilization
We're monitoring our Desktop Central server and noticed that the paging file often fills up. It looks like it clears out a little after the server maintenance every week but it usually fills back up before the next maintenance. Our server (a VM) isn't even using all of the memory allocated to it and it won't let me set a larger custom paging file size. Can we turn off the paging file or is it needed to properly run Desktop Central?

Has anyone tried using letsencrypt to install an SSL cert for use with servicedesk? I would be interested to hear some feedback... does it work? Is it reasonably straightforward? Can it be renewed using a script, or does it need to be renewed manually? Thanks in advance. Allen.

Change the value of a custom field based on the approuver/stage of approbation
Hi, I'm looking for a solution to set a custom field value( in a service catalogue template for change request) based on the stage of approbation the request is currently on. For this template I have 3 stages of approbation for specific moments in the workflow. If I could name the different stages of approval and have it showed to the approvers It would work perfectly but I have found a way to name the stages, they are always named Stage One / Stage Two / Stage Three. Problem getting resolution of request using API
Hi, All I'm integrating our servicedesk plus with out internal product using API and working in Python. I successfully got details of a response, uploaded attachment to a request using API but I ain't able to "GET" resolution of a request. Exporting Current Settings
We are getting ready to install a new Desktop Central server. I'm going through the current one and don't see an option to export our current configurations. Does this option exist? We are manually setting everything as we want a fresh clean install. Manually importing machines as we don't want any possible corruption being imported. Is there a feature to export the configurations for the different area's or do we just have to manually setting by setting.

Set Standard Subject in SDP CLoud
I would like to know how I can have a Service Desk template that asks for certain information NAME, COMPUTER_NUMBER, etc. and then upon Submit it changes the subject line to something like: Subject: NAME has been assigned computer number: COMPUTER_NUMBER That way, all requests made by that Service Request Template all have the same subject format as well. I did this with Execute Script in form rules with On-Prem, but can't figure out how to do this in the cloud. Thanks,
Windows Defender ATP Alerting on remcomsvc.exe
We have recently switched over to Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection. After installing the Desktop Central agent on a new machine that was joined to the domain we received an alert that Malware was found on a work station. As it turns out the alert was for remcomsvc.exe. I also had this same alert come up on the Desktop Central Server. I would like to know why the remcomsvc.exe is being picked up as Malware Thank You, Ed
Unable to add macOS packages
Hello, I am unable to add a package for deployment in the network. The package is Google Chrome for Mac on macOS platform. As the below screenshot says, I am able to search the package, find it and populate the rest. Clicked on Create Package Automatically button and is presented with the Create Package pop up window where when I click on the Create Package button, nothing happens.

Hi all, I am unsing ManageEngine Desktop Central and I am trying to add a shared network drive to all computers. The shared network drive is on a machine that everyone has access to, but it requires a username and password (let's say user: SharedDrive, password: 1234) When doing a new configuration > user (Add Shared Network Drive), it doesn't ask me for credentials and then it fails because username/password is incorrect, which is normal because I didn't find where to put them.
