Unable to add monitors with SNMP
I boght OPManager Pro and tried to creat CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization ,Disk Utilization and other Resource monitors on a server with SNMP. but when i look at the graph it that the data is not available. what can i do to fix it? (SNMP client IS installed on the server )
Workstation History report
Is there a built in report or a way to create a report that will give me what has changed on the workstation daily? I am setting up a daily scan and would like to login in the morning and see if anything on any of the workstations has changed.
Preventitive Maintenance Error -Monthly schedule
I was able to make a PM task and create a Periodic schedule but when I try and change and then create a new MONTHLY task it gives the error below: Any Ideas? Request created Time is off by 3 hours behind
We are currently running SD 5010 on Windows Enterprise 2003 Server the time on the server is correct with the lastest Time Zone and Time and Date but I don't understand why Service Desk is showing a 3 hours behind I check forums to find a fix with no luck thats why I'm posting this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Is there a way of keeping emails?
Hi there SC+ deletes the emails from the inbox of the account specified in Mail Server Settings. Is there a way of circumventing this (besides creating a rule to forward the emails to another account)? The text in Mail Server settings says to "create a separate mail account and alias the mailid to this account". Is this a way of keeping emails? If so, could you explain what it means and how to do this? Many thanks again Patricia
banning requesters
Can we actually ban a requester? Either to stop them getting in in the first place and secondly to ban them if they have left the company but we want to keep the case history associated with them.

Suppressing Unnecessary Alarms from a Device
Hi, According to OpManager user guide its possible to "Suppressing Unnecessary Alarms from a Device". It suggesting to right click a device, choose configure and then "Alarm Suppression". Well, I cannot find such function. Right click on a device via Opmanager client web interface will not provide such option as "configure". Could some explain what/how such operation is done? I have unchecked "Notify" on Switch/Router ports discovered by OpManager, but still get this unnecessary alarms.
Support for win-1251 encoding
Names in our domain is in win-1251 encoding and ADManager display them in "???" characters. Please, help!
Scheduled Request - can this be setup and how
We have requests that occur on a schedule - weekly, monthly, etc. I understand that a feature called "schedule request generation" was added in build 5500. Hello, I am having some serious trouble. I have no idea exactly how to put the Self portal online. When I use my web client, on my computer, it takes me to http://localhost:8080. But that page is not available on other computers. How do I put the the Self service portal on the internet, so my other clients can login, or submit tickets. Do I need special software? OpManager business views question
Hello! The business views option is very great! But is there a way to customize them ? For example, I would like to have a view for each brand equipment and when I click on them, I have for example the image of the real thomson equipment and on this image I would like to add (with a drag-and-drop??) the ports that I need to monitor? And when there is an alarm, it goes red... Currently, you can have a background image but on it, you can only add other business views or other devices. But you can't
Severity notification in Business Views
I am trialing OpManager at the moment. One issue I have found is that severities do not seem to get propagated upwards more than one level in the Business Views eg Country Business View -> State Business View -> City Business View -> ServerA. If an alert occurs on ServerA the City Business View turns red but the State and Country ones stay green. What am I doing wrong? Doug

Sending a solution to a requester
Can we actually send a solution to the requester without cutting and pasting? It would be useful to leave the request open in a window, look through the solutions and then send the solution (after possible topping and tailing) to the requester. Or again from the solutions to be able to send to a requester from there. Logging Stopped
On June 17th logging stopped (I just got around to checking the system). The services are running and the icon is green for connected/collecting; however, there is no data. I have a 11.7 GB file (ibdata1) in the C:\AdventNet\ME\EventLog\mysql\data directory. I can not locate where to limit the size of this file (still have 10 GB free on disk). Hi, We have intergrated opmanager and service desk so that a ticket is automatically open in servicedesk+ from the traps receive in Opmanager. The problem is that, it opens a ticket for each event received, resulting in many duplicates tickets for the same event. How can I limit/filter this. Thks
Problem - Statistics with 30% OTHERS traffic.
I'm trying to generate report with NFA. Interface/destination traffic (in my case this is Internet traffic received by local users). Every time i generate statistics for last hour I can see traffic for each local IP and there is no "others" in report. But everytime i generate statistic for more than last hour (e.g. for last day/last week) i can see in report all my local IPs (about 15-20 records) and "Others" with traffic part 10-35%. monitor a string value (and not integer)
Good morning, We are testing OpManager in order to replace our monitoring plateform... We have seen that it is possible to configure threshold to generate an alarm...But unfortunately, this threshold can only be an integer value. Several OID send string values and not integer values. We would like to monitor an oid which sends back a string value and send an alarm when the device sends the empty string "" or the string "error". Event Log Monitoring
Is it possible to do event log monitoring without the events triggering a critical level alarm? We just want an informational log of events. Right now every time someone in the company puts in a wrong password, it is flagged as a critical error on the domain controller and we get an email that the server is down. If not available, please consider for future release. I also echo the requests in here to have notifications stop after a number of occurrences specified by the administrator. Take a look
Lack of editor for announcements
The ticket editing, and notification editing is vastly superior to the editing controls seen in the announcements. We cannot add links, or provide different fonts, colors, formatting, etc. Can this same editor be utilized in the announcements? Justin

FEATURE REQ: Business Rules with relational decisions made
The problem: We have users who are located in offices around the world. There are techs in many of those locations. They would like to be notified/assigned a ticket when a user from their site submits a ticket. Analysis: - There doesn't appear to be a way to refer to a user's location on an individual basis. You can have someone in a department that has a location mentioned in it, but that's rather tedious to set up, as departments span locations. There's no way to determine a department of a person
