Let me explain the kind of work we do. We provide IT help desk/technical support not for internal users, but for other small and medium business. We are in the B2B way. ServiceDesk Plus does not provide the Accounts and Contacts by Account/Assets by Account/Request by Accounts that are present in supportcenter. This will be great for us and for many IT support service companies. And to assign assets to these accounts so we can take care about them, have an request history for an asset/account, etc.

Hi i've generated a report "requests by technician" i don't have all the technician on the report but only 6, others 3 technician are added in to "others" Do you have any solution?

I think your product can get a big burst if you provide an API that allow the users to build their own reports and if you provide a way to add this reports templates to the list of reports that can be used for report generation.

Scanning systems in LAN not associated with a Domain
Currently we have a number of systems that are connected to our LAN, but not assigned to our Domain for one reason or another. Assuming I make the appropriate changes in the Windows Firewall Exception lists, can I scan these systems in SD+? And if so, How do I do that.
Require note if technician accesses ticket
Is it possible to make a technician document a ticket before they leave it? A couple of scenarios if technicians are picking and choosing work based on the contents of the ticket, currently they can leave the ticket and not comment on why they did not assign it to someone or work on it. Another is to ensure something is documented each time a ticket is looked at for tracking purposes. Management wants to see how many times technicians are going in and out of tickets before they are resolved. In essence
Custom Field for technician notes
I would like to see a custom field I can attach to a technician note. If they do research, I want them to document what sites they review, so they choose research. If they call a vendor for support I want to see that. If they peforma followup task I want to see that. Also allow this to have mandatory option. In the end, the hope is to see by reporting what level of efforts are being used during the incident resolution process, without having to read through every ticket.
More options for user priveleges
When logged on as admin. In the users section. Is it possible to add more restriction, rather than just read only? Could this be added as a feature. We want to add access to some of our users but not let them see certain parts of the application. Thanks Andrew
Recurring holidays
I am not sure if this has been asked before; can we have the facility to have recurring holidays (either by date e.g Christmas or by day e.g last Monday in August) and also the ability to change the date field after saving the item. I think that I am correct in saying you can't alter the date of the holiday after it has been saved? This means that in the UK where we have certain Bank Holidays e.g. last Monday in August it would be good either to have it recur on the same day (as mentioned above)
question about compaq temperature monitoring
Hi all, I have setup temperature monitoring for Hp/compaq servers. All works fine, but when I check the graphs I receive 7 different graphs with the names 0.1 degree celsius 0.2 degree celsius until 0.7 degree celsius. What do all these graphs mean? Does the server have 7 different temperature censors? If so, it is impossible to see which censor is used for what purpose. Anybody knows? Thanks in advance

1 - In business rules when I add some words it seems it getting confuse with the HTML template. Example: I have a switch named BLACK I want issues for this word to be sent to network group. But when I put this keyword in description, everything sent by email is giong to the network group. If I send an email in plain text it goes in the right group. Unable to replace image
I have been unable to replace the "Acme Help Desk" image that appears on the reports in 5504. My image is 102x40 but it still will not replace. I have been able to import all of the other images just fine. Any advice?

Building a Test Environment for SD Plus
We want to create a test environment for SD Plus hosted on the same physical machine as our production environment. We are running Win 2003 Server. What is the best way to do this? Scale on SNMP graphs do not seem to be correct
Using the newest release of OpManager it appears that the scale on the snmp graphs seems to be incorrect. I believe the rise and falls of the graph are correct, however, the scale on the Y axis is incorrect. For example, on a link that hosts over 30 computers it is telling me the highest traffic level has been 200 K. This seems hard to believe. I am getting the same thing for the traffic reports on my windows servers.

Hi we still have a few issues with SD+ and I was wondering when the next upgrade will be available. Also will this include a picklist option for closing calls. Some of the issues.... 1. I am conducting an evaluation of Netflow Analyzer 5.0 for my organization. We are looking for a netflow collector that allows us to view detailed data flow on our networks, determine the impact of new software on our network and store and recall this data for later analysis. I understand that in NFA 5.5 the raw data is retained for 1 Month with 1 minute granularity. Is it possible to backup the raw data and later restore it with the intent to view the 1 minute granularity say a year down the road?

Collecting flows from a Cisco Catalist 6506 using dCEF
I want to collect flows from a Cisco Catalist Multilayer Switch 6506 but NFA only shows inbound traffic on all interfaces. The Cisco Switch is using dCEF (Distribuited CEF). Is there any specific config for this equipment..? Windows Service Monitors not available under RHEL4
We've just gone from testing to production with OpManager. Our test installation ran from a Windows XP box and we had no real issues. The production system is running of RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 and I've found that Windows Service Monitors and Event Log Monitors are not available. They are not even present on the ADMIN page as options. Does the Linux edition not have the ability to monitor Windows services, or am I missing a dependency somewhere?
NFA5.5 Demo Crashing
Hi I am running the NFA5.5 demo on RHEL3. Occasionally we find that demo crashes. Upon restart we get the "unclean shutdown" error message.
