Remote Script Monitor: long response time
Hi, We are trying to set up remote script monitors from AppManager to Linux boxes. As a test, I have a script that simply writes values to the output file (which executes in a fraction of a second). The problem is, AppManager is taking up to 3 minutes to execute it and get the answer! Connection is by numeric IP, through telnet. Data is coming back, it's just taking a long time. Running 'last' on the Linux server shows sessions from the AppManager server lasting 2-3 minutes. (Build 7102) Any ideas?
EventLog stops receiving messages
Each server shows up with a status of "unable to reach server" mustard color icon. I restart the service and they icon is back on green... what is causing this server to loose connectivity to all servers?

PO multiple approval
In my organization multiple approvals must apply to a PO for example the IT Manager, Direct Manager, CEO and so on, but in SD+ once one user approve a PO, it is approved, So can you have something like as long as the PO not approved from all the intended recipients then it is still pending. I'm looking for a query that would report drive details (capacity & free space) where OS is "Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Standard Edition" grouped by network name. It seems drive details would be more useful than many of the other details included in the custom reporting feature.

Same traps, different severities
Hello, I am looking for a way to set trap severities to be different, depending on the device they are coming from. For example, a link up trap should be "clear" from a server, but "attention" from a switch. We have multiple places under Enterprises where this would be useful. Can this be done?

SNMP Write Access to devices
I am new to opmanager and SNMP in general and have a few questions I hope you can help me understand. Is security a big concern with SNMP? Or should I stick with the default "public" and "private" community names? How much access does OpManager need? If I only enable the default public read, will I be able to do everything in OpManager? What does write or change permissions in SNMP get me? Thanks for the info. Any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.

Add device sits to infinity?
Hello everyone! I'm trying to add some machines to OpManager, but every time I fire of Add Device, the page sits with the hourglass. I've tried this on firefox as well as internet explorer, and at this point I've left it running for more than 30 minutes. This happens on machines regardless of whether I have snmp enabled on the system or not. Any suggestions on how I might correct this? OpManager is great, but I can't seem to add any more devices to monitor! Thank you, Pete

license reconcile for OS
I wanted to see how everyone else is doing this. When I scan our domain it tells me how many systems it has detected and what operating system it show is installed. However for audit and licensing compliance purposes I would like for the software inventory area to show the operating systems and have it reconcile them just as it does with all of the other installed software.
Additional Character Fields in Item List in Purchase Order
Is there a way to change/add the character field under Item list in Purchase Order? Right now when creating new purchase order and choosing an Item, the field is limited to 20 characters only. I would like to change it to atleast 30 characters for viewing. Any help will be appreciated.

How can i make the business view to full screen?? in the Business view i watch a computer. when i shut down the computer there businnes view make no update and sayy all is ok. when i click on the computer he says shut down. how get i an automatic update of the view? the service intervall is on 1 minute but no update. regards
GE UPS Monitoring
Has anyone managed to get GE UPS's monitored by OpManager? I've followed the guide at http://forums.manageengine.com/forumHome.do?forumGroupId=49000000002007&forumTopicId=49000002635835& , but I still get N/A or data not available in the graphs. I've attached the ups_monitors.xml file in case I've missed something fundamental!
Probe may be down/busy.Operation timed out
When I try to add Windows services to a specific server I constantly get "Probe may be down/busy.Operation timed out " I get this error when I am running on the Central Server or on the Probe itself. I can select one of the dozen or so "canned" services from the list and add them successfully. However if I get the above error and click OK or Cancel, it erases the previously saved service entries.

Replying to a Merged Ticket should include all email address
When you merge tickets together and you click Reply>Reply it should include all the email address of all merged tickets. Example: If ticket # 100 was from abc@abc.com subject: unable to login and ticket # 101 was from bca@abc.com subject: can not login ANd you merge those tickets together under ticket # 100 when you click Reply>Reply it should have email address abc@abc.com and bca@abc.com If this is approved can it be applied to a future update

When installing Service Desk Plus on our test server, it was configured to run from Port 85. Everything works perfectly from within the test environment, however if I try and access the system from outside the ofifce its not working. I have configmed that the respective port is open and forwarding correctly. Are there any configuration changes that need to be made to access the system from non-local ip addresses?

How can I add multiple phrases on the control panel for alerting me if the keywords are found? Would a comma separator be enough to sperate multiple phrases/words? Hi, During the evaluation of the product ELA I found the following: 1. On a Windows XP system I have enabled auditing (success/failure) for different conditions. These events I can see in the system event viewer but not in the ELA (important events nor in a reports). 2.I also did on a UNIX/LINUX system some Logoff and Logons (successfull and unsuccessful ones).
