How can i change the total interface in Service Desk Plus? I can give support for turkish-english translation on this program as well...i read something about the new version will support this so waiting for the new version to release...

Hi All Have a client request to montior some core applications. Does this product allow those apps to be monitored and check usage against an Active Directory Group and execute a process? Customers requirements is they wish to be alerted when someone is on leave and they access a core application which contains sensitive info. Removing DBEntries
Hello all, i m having problem with removing 1 devise entry as i m trying to rediscover its ports it does not rediscover , op support sugessted me to use..RemoveDBEntries.bat script to remove the device totally and discover it again . i have extract the RemoveDBEntries.bat in /bin folder and i m trying to remove my device wiht ip / name gives me this error : Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: RemoveDBEntries i dont have knowledge of scripts can anyone guide me plz. my script

Hi all, I have a jboss instance configured with SSL. I am trying to add monitor for it but no success. The post i have specified it 443. i have also changed this port in jboss-service.xml in http-invoker.sar. i have also changed all http instances to https but still no sucess. Can't delete categories
Hello, Now that sub-categories are available, I would like to make some changes to my categories, however, I'm finding that I cannot delete old categories. I thought this was because they were in use, so I changed all requests the were using the categories in question, however, they still will not delete. After I click on Delete, they are gray in color, but are still available when creating a new request. How can I get rid of these categories permanently? Thanks, Nicole
Growing Apache Logs
Hi, not long ago our hard disk filled up to 100% due to the Apache logs growing bigger and bigger. Does Opmanager supply some way of controlling/rotating the Apache logs? I'm afraid that when I tamper with the apache config to set piped logging or something these changes will be lost with an Opmanager upgrade. Or does someone provide a script to move the logs and restart Apache or something? I don't want to reinvent the wheel :) Any help would be appreciated. P.s I couldn't find a good answer by

This is just a suggestion and maybe already proposed... When performing manual additions, add software, would it be possible to allow resize of the list box. It is very narrow and doesn't allow viewing the whole software name? Also, would it be possible to allow sorting?

Exchange monitors not working but other WMI are

We have a problem with our MSP server, in that the last two customer probes we've added and installed on their networks, have a dedicated domain admin account to log on as, but the exchange section only shows used disk space, it doesn't show all the other information such as message delivery etc. We have several other customer servers that show all exchange monitors properly, but the last few don't have any last polled values. WMI is working for all other areas such as active directory and WMI

Hey everyone, I believe I have found another bug in the ticket system of SD 6003. The resolution date will change when editing a closed ticket. Example: I find a ticket with from 10/10/2006 that has some mispellings or something I'd like to correct. The resolution was entered on 10/11/2006 and the ticket closed. I click on the main Blue edit button, make the change and save the ticket. Now if I go look at the resolution, it shows that the resolution was entered on the day I EDITED the ticket, and
Re-open helpdesk log
Whenever user reply to a helpdesk log that has been closed the system will re-open the case. For us it is very annoying because user normally reply 'thanks' which re-open the case, and we have to close the case again which trigger another helpdesk close message back to user. Instead of using RULES to control sending a helpdesk close message back to user, is it possible to have an additional option to close send or not send a message to user when 'close' or 'save and close' under 'enter resolution'

SSH support very much needed
Hello, If you search this BB for SSH support, you will find numerous requests for SSH support. They go back for over a year, and everytime the response from adventnet has been "It's in our Roadmap". Using Telnet on Linux servers is a big No for security reasons, and we dis-allowed the use of Telnet on our servers way back in 1998. I don 't think it's necessary to explain why. Database restore not complete
After upgraded our SD to 6003 and changeDB to MSSQL, I did a restore to the new version. It said, restore is succesfully. Everything was restored to the new MSSQL database, e.g. Requesters, Rules, Technicians,,..... But I lost all our request tickets, it just empty. Please, advice. Thanks

Problem after upgrade to build 4300
After upgrading to build 4300 I can no longer see my rogue devices. I had about 30 entries and they all disappeared. Also I see new rogues under alerts but when I go to the rogue page I see nothing. I tried calling tech support but they were busy and they said they will return my call, that was yesterday morning. Help!
