PIX 501 not showing any results in FWA
Hi, I am trying FWA for a client and have set up a lab with a PIX501. The problem is that there seems to be no stats at all for the device. It is showing up as a known device, but there are no stats. I am looking in particular at the logins, failed logins, command executed, security stats. I have a Cisco 837 routers which is showing some stats, but not the PIX. If I look at the packet count on the FWA UI is showing packets received. I am also sending to another syslog server to see the traps. There

Hi, Is it possible to change the value of read/write attributes of MBeans? I have an attribute with witch I can set the logLevel of an application. With JConsole I can change the loglevel by providing the correct string (DEBUG,WARN,...). I was hoping however that I could change it too with ManageEngine and perhaps change the logLevel as a certain threshold value is exceeded. Monitoring AIX Servers
Hi I'm trying to monitor AIX servers through SSH. The issue that our AIX administrators has disabled direct access of ROOT user to the server. Normal user has to login and then switch to root user. So, what is the best approach to monitoy AIX (Mem, CPU, File System utilization) in such scenario? Some of the monitors require to have root access such as Mem utilization. Thanks in advance.
Problem characters in random passwords
Could the "Generate Random Password" feature in the Bulk User Creation portion of AD Manager Plus exlude characters that are easily confused by users? Examples, Zeros and capital letter "O", Number 1 and capital letter "I" or lowercase letter "L"? This causes considerable confusion for some users. Scott Blake

We're having an issue getting service desk to pull email and to send email notifications. we're running exchange 2003. POP and SMTP are enabled on the mail server and Opmanager can send email notifications w/o authentication. anyone else using servicedesk along with exchange? does it work???
Citrix Metaframe MIB problem
Hello , I have a problem uploading metaframe.mib to monitor my citrix servers with Op Manager. In the attachment you would see the parsing error on the metaframe.mib file. I took the MIB file from Citrix Presentation Server 4 CD. Unfortunately Citrix Support only HP NNM, Unicenter TNG and IBM Tivolli. Does somebody has an idea how to correct this problem? Thank you

All, We sucessfully migrated to MSSQL and are currently utilizing version 6005 of ServiceDesk Plus. More importantly, we currently are performing SQL backups of all of our ServiceDesk data along with the rest of our company data. We had our web front end ServiceDesk server crash due to a hard drive / raid failure. We failed over to our development ServiceDesk server and repointed the database. Everything seemed to be working fine. It turns out though that we had NO access to any of our file attachments

And then I tried to disable SELinux and link libdb-3.2.so to libdb-4.2.so, still can't start up a client side. however how can i solve that problem and would be paste those error message in there. A few suggestions on enhancements: 1. When we receive a support request from a new contact would it be possible to check the email address. Outlook sync
Outlook, again. I have changed some contacts in Outlook (I have cca 1000 contacts in Outlook, of which about 200 are accounts related), and started sync from Outlook. Related to my last topic, in the morning I had about 1200 contacts in SCP ( some duplicated), against my will, and now after synchronisation, I have about 2500 contacts in SCP!!! OP7 not working!!!

Whenever I try to pull up ENTITY-MIB in the "Admin > SNMP Trap Processors" section, it comes up and says "Error!". Hi there, As any one had any luck monitoring Apple mac xserve using Opmanager? I have configured SNMP on the xserve and it looks to be working OK. Problem with bulk password resets
Hello, I am trying to reset passwords on 56 accounts. The problem is ADManager Plus will do about 45ish of them OK and then not attempt to do the others. There is no error message that is displayed.... it just skips them. I am using the free edition but should be ok for up to 100 users right? Any ideas? Thanks, Adam

I have set the RAW data storage to 1 day, and as per my knowledge Aggregate data would be store forever. But i have a very big issue that is the report shows the top protocols as 400MB transferred but if we drill down then it gives data only for 40MB or less that what is shows? Eventlog unable to process the syslog volume
We have 17 Unix Syslog clients sending to EventLog Analyzer, the server is a quad processor with 4GB of ram. The syslog messages are hitting the server but only a small percentage of the received items are processed and recorded in the tool.
