Hello. I need to know the default ports that the opmanager use, cos i have an Isa server firewall that its blocking all the connections, I need to open the specific opmanager port to connect to the console. Thanks a lot

I have added this Cisco Switch to Opmanager, but I cannot monitor it because it is not listed in the "type" drop down menu. Is there a download somewhere that will update that list and have the 2970G listed?

Health of monitor group not updated

Seem to have an issue with PO numbers and their numbering convention Scenario: Create PO to purchase some laptops (product name: Dell Laptop) and use our own PO number eg. 2047 Go through the entire purchasing process. Once the items have been received and added to Assets, the initial Asset name is as follows. Polling and visual view interface.
For disable alarm on interface, i disable polling. But when polling disabled - this interface show always on. I can see, work this interface or no only by current speed on interface. How i can change interface configuration for disable alarms and see, in real this interface work or no? For example - "Status" green if work, red if off and alarm disabled, red and flash if off and alarm for this interface enabled.

Time Spent in New Request and Templates
When entering a new request or creating a request template it would be efficient to be able to add Time Spent on the request all within the request window. Problem occurs when you make the field a mandatory item upon close it errors and then you need to edit the request to add time and then re-close the ticket. If you have a template that auto fills in all the fields it errors out as well since there is no Time Spent entered. So thus editing the ticket again to add your time then close the ticket.

Changing the login page
We currently use several systems using a single sign on which is not generated from the Windows Authenticated session. A user will be using a windows session logged in as a generic user. They will then login to our intranet using their individual username/password, and that is what we use to generate our single sign on utility (which is already in place and works fine). Notification not working
I've followed the KB article, http://support.opmanager.com/sd/AddSolution.sd?solID=25203 but can't get the notification to play the sound successfully. I can run the batch file manually and it plays a sound on the remote computer without any issues, it just doesn't seem to be getting called from OpManager successfully. attached are the two lines from the log file that show what's happening when the notification is triggered. Issue Monitoring free space on san volume, windows cluster.
Hello, The link below shows how I overcame an issue where opmanager could not monitor a mounted volume with no mapped drive letters to it. Adding URL Links to HTML Pages for Device Notes
Greetings folks... We have an constantly updated CMDB that contains web pages with information on servers comparable to what OpManager offers under Device Snapshots / Device views. In OpManager I'd like to add a field in Device views where I can define URLs to those device information pages so we don't have to enter/maintain all that data in OpManger. I am trying to create a custom report that includes the "technician", "created date" and "notes" fields. I do not see "notes" as an option under the "New Custom Report" option so I am assuming it must be done by using a query report. My query writing skills are minimal at best. Could I get some assistance?

CREATEDTIME content in WORKORDER ( V7009 )
Looking at the the CREATEDTIME field in WORKORDER and understand that the date/time is stored in UNIX format, so seconds since 1st Jan 1970. I have an entry for today of 1199902033686 When I use an online convertor that date goes wild, until I strip off some of the trailing numbers to be left with 1199902033. So what is the 686 on the end and how do I know how much of the field to use to return a valid date/time. SQL 2005 environment. Kind Regards, Andy

Last polled performance monitors value in Snapshot page
Instead of having the configuration information in the performance monitors pane in the Snapshot page, It would be nice to have the last polled information in the column instead of the Period (mins) or simply add the data in an other column. Since this is a page to quickly see the information of the Device, not having to open each monitors that are not in a graph on top of page to see the actual information would be great.
Outage Windows
Is it possible in OpManager 7 to configure outage windows for specific servers? For example, if a server reboots nightly at 10 PM I would like to configure an outage window from 9:55 to 10:05 during which the server is not monitored. This way I can eliminate cold start alarms for servers during scheduled reboots. Thank You

I've already posted this once but it's disappeared! - Anyway I copied the text so I'll try again! I work in a medium sized educational establishment in the UK and, after trialing SD+ with our IT Teachers and staff, decided to plumb for the full ITIL v7. Everything seems to be working pretty well but I do have a couple of issues. I want to restrict access to SD+ to just the teaching / lecturing staff and prevent the students from logging requests. I would like to add fields from requester to notification email body - such as requester's phone number and requester's additional fields (which I added) - but they are not available for customizing email. Can you make these variables available in email notification customize menu under 'choose content variables'?

Hi, There is no graph displayed in Device View - Application/Source/Destination page selecting Last Hour Report. (Traffic graph displayed) Any other report graph in this pages displayed correctly. One user is somehoe killing the ManageEngine Service
We are using 7.0.0 Build 7003. For some reason one of our 180+ users get a page cannot be found screen when launching Service Desk Professional. When this happens we have noticed that the ManageEngine service on our SD server stops. Have you any ideas what may be causing this? Regards
Multi-select software to change type?
Is it possible when listing the software attached to a workstation to select more than one at a time to change the type to eg Prohibited or Managed, etc? I'm starting to scan and by picking up all the unidentified software with each scan I want to be able to set the types as quickly as possible. Thanks

OpManager Reporting incorrect Free Disk Space
I have a drive on one of our servers that reports 0 GB Free Disk Space (Drive F:). The others are reporting the correct size. The following are the Total Drive Size for each drive on the server C: 10GB (5.5 GB Free) E: 24GB (23.8GB Free) F: 135 GB (110GB Free) OpManager is only reporting 34GB in the Asset Details for the server. I changed the value to 169 GB and OpManager is still reporting 0GB Free Disk Space for Drive F: Is there anyway correct this?
