WebSphere 6.1 Custom/Application JMX Beans

Hello,

I am evaluating Applications Manager and I am trying to monitor custom JMX beans that our application has registered in the WebSphere JMX/MBean server. I have validated the beans exist using WebSphere's wsadmin and I can use Aplications Manager to monitor the standard WebSphere beans and attributes, but I cannot see how to monitor custom our beans. I have tried using the JMX/SNMP dashboard, but AM asks for the pmi.jar, pmiclient.jar etc that are not included with WAS v6.1.

Do you have any guides for using AM with WebSphere 6.1 either using the WAS MX4J SOAP Connector or JSR160?
