MySQL error in event manager, causing SD7 7001 to crash
Hello, I am having the same problem with ServiceDesk7 build 7001. Our system was crashing before on a Virtual Machine, then after speaking with support, we migrated to a dedicated machine. I know our system resources on our new server are more than sufficent. Servicedesk is the only software running on the server. the server is Windows 2003 Server SP1. Alpine & SSH Support
All, The DeviceExpert currently does not support SSH for the BlackDiamond and Alpines are not even listed. We need SSH1/2 Support for the BlackDiamond & need Alpines as a selection with the same support. Currently the Device Explorer can not read any information for these products except via telnet and even their it is limited in data it pulls. Thanks!
Activity Report to match Global Request view
There is no report to match the global request view (which displays Inbound, Completed and OverDue requests for the current/previous week/month).
Problem ManageEngine running OpUtils 4
I downloaded install exe. Installation was successful. I Installed Service. I start program from Start / Programs. I see cmd window (probably starting the service). I see the blue pop-up splash window. Then nothing. I see icon in sys tray with a red "x" in lower right corner. I also sent support file to you which supposedly had the zip file of the event logs. SLA Notification Emails
Hi all, Since upgrading to 6014 during the week I notice there are problems with SLA Notification emails. I'm running SD+ on HTTPS. The Alias URL is setup correctly in Admin -> Self-Service Portal Settings e.g. https://servername. I notice that the SLA Notification emails (received by a number of users) alternate between having the included request URL as http:// and https://... Obviously the HTTPS URLs work but the HTTP ones do not. A workaround would be to setup a redirect from HTTP to HTTPS for
An SD+ index page for PDA web browsers to enter requests
Can we have the ability to submit a request from a PDA web browser (i.e. a cut down SD+ front page). The ability to add/amend whilst on site or whilst travveling from a PDA would be useful.
Business rules to add action of "delete ticket"
Add an action in the SDP business rules of "delete ticket". This will enable you to create rules to drop calls you don't want. It is cleaner than closing them, as we get ones from autoresponders, etc, which make new tickets and you don't need to keep a record of these. Also email non-delivery responses can make new tickets.

Hi, I would like to know how to monitor the status for a physical interface of a q-logic san switch. The port physical index OID is .1.3.6.1.4.1.1663.1.3.10.1.1.1 and the admin status is .1.3.6.1.4.1.1663.1.3.10.1.1.3, with online=1 and offline=2 values. Monitoring Information Store build 6003 (windows version)
Guys, I don't seem to be able to find the correct service name to allow me to monitor the information store. For example, if my IT Dept Information Store was dismounted for some reasons, I like to have Opmanager inform me. I am on build 6003 (windows version). If i change category for device (for example from router to switch), all statistic and configuration (polling ports and other) for device is reset. If this is new device, it is not critical. % utilization Vs KBPS Graph
Dear All Kindlr refer to attached screenshot. The Link speed defined for the Interface is 2 MBPS and the utilization tin the graph shows avergae 198 KBPS i.e apprx 20% of the utilization on the link. They why the attached (Percentile) graph is showing 100% utilization. This also gives me false alert for the treshhold which is set for the link.
Cisco bug in display name
Hi, I've just found a bug in the latest version of opmanager. The display name from cisco devices now works properly but if any of the descriptions are blank on the switch then opmanager gets confused and puts the next available description in the display name its looking for. Example... MSSQL - Cache hit ratio in 2005 missing, tried the usual
hi, If I use perf monitor I get cache ratio around 90%, in opmanager I am getting "N/A". See no errors in Opman logs (note: red herring below) wmiadap /f then restart WMI, no errors in MS logs, waited 24 hours. "Log Cache Hit Ratio" and "Transactions Per Sec" also "N/A" For "test monitor" I get "The Monitor did not respond to the test request" Maybe Opmanager thinks SQL2005 is SQL2000? Streaming & Chat site question
I'm demoing this software and have a question. We use a Juniper SSG-550. While the firewall analyzer software is displaying all of our traffic, it has a hard time with certain chat sites. For example, yahoo messenger/chat is accessed by our users via a web address that starts with httpes://..., but our Netscreen just shows it as port 80, regular http traffic. Is there any way to configure the analyzer software to recognize that traffic as chat, or am I confined strictly to ports numbers? Thank you.

Is it possible to define our own password strength for the password generation. We are a government agency and have strict rules about the strength of our passwords. Preventive Maintenance request are not generated automatically. We are using Service Desk 6.0, Build 15, over SQL server. We don�t know if is related to this problem, but we see the following entry in the service desk logs: Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Conversion failed when converting datetime from character string. Can you provide help on this topic. We have a lot of preventive maintenance tasks, and this is a critical functionality for our organization.

Recently Bad Logged On User - Exporting Report
Whenever I run the recently bad logged on user report, the report runs but when I attempt to export it AdManager locks up and then I am unable to get back into it. I have never been able to export the report successfully. Is this a known issue?
