ServiceDesk 6 and Windows 2003 SP2

ServiceDesk 6 and Windows 2003 SP2

I'm currently running ServiceDesk 6 (Build 6001) and I need to upgrade to the latest build. It's running on a Windows 2003 server SP1. Should I install SP2 first before upgrading to the latest ServiceDesk build? And are there any issues when using Windows 2003 SP2?
