FwA not showing data
Hello folks, i am new to the firewall analyzer, but want to give it a try. I'd like to try the tool by analyzing our last sundays traffic logs from a cluster of Forti800's. Since our FortiAnalyzer als well as our FortiGate cluster is already beyond high load, the poor thing, i do not want to burden them by sending logs to the FwA. So i tried to feed my testing instance of firewall analyzer by http with Forti logs taken from our DWH. I copied those to a linux box, where i would gunzip them, then feed

Hello, I'm trying your software since 3 days for squid logs analysis and I find it really good but I've some trouble with several things. 1st) On the reports, the time that the users have been watching websites is totally wrong. I mean, for one hour of logs, they say that the user has been watching the website for 36 hours for example and this value is so big for all users... Assets Module - Bar Code Field & In Store w/ Dept Assign

We'd like to produce Asset Acquisition and Disposal reports which will require both Serial Number and Bar Code (our organisations Asset label). 2. I'm currently running ServiceDesk 6 (Build 6001) and I need to upgrade to the latest build. It's running on a Windows 2003 server SP1. Should I install SP2 first before upgrading to the latest ServiceDesk build? And are there any issues when using Windows 2003 SP2? Thanks, Alex

BUG After with the Build 6500
Hi, After I apply the build 6500, our clients are telling me that when they enter to the non login portal http://supportcenter/sd/SolutionsHome.sd and verify any Solutions or Search for Solutions they get an error of HTTP Status 404 - /sd/AddSolution.do that you can verify in the Attach Image. I check by myself and it is true. So please can you verify this or maybe others check if this is happening to someone else or just me?. Best Regards!. Daniel

Hi there, I have just installed Netflow analyzer, the install went ok. The web site is fine. I turned on the flow output on our cisco router, and have checked this with show ip cache flow. But I dont think that the Net Analyzer is listening on port 9996. I am getting no graph output even though I can see the port listed by running a "netstat -a" on the server. On the server I have tried "telnet localhost 9996" - should I see a response from this? Everything I have checked seems to be in order, its

Hey Hey, Some customers emailed Requests seem to break the window wrapping when displaying text. This problem means that we have to scroll the window to the Right in order to read the full body of text. This also occurs when we enter a body of text within a free-text 'Additional Field'. We would very much like the text to scroll and wrap vertically so that printing and viewing will be easier. thanks, Matte

Request - Additional Fields - Default Selection (FAIL)
Hey Hey, We've been having an issue with our Additional fields. We've created a field called 'Release Target', and the Default select being 'TBD'. First of all, the default selection is not 'TBD', but the first entry we made (ie. Patch 13). This would be fine, however you cannot confirm the default selection, as the only option on the dialogue box is X (cancel). We currently have to select a different entry, wait for it to save, and then reselect the entry that we want. Anyone else have this issue?

Interface speed reports way off
I'm currently evaluating Netflow analyzer pro 6.. We're using sFlow to sample packet data from a Foundry Bigiron 4000 Jetcore, and it's sampling quite nicely, but reported speeds and utilization are not even close to what it's supposed to be. On one gigabit interface it's reporting 24.54 Mbps IN and 11.68 Mbps OUT, while the real usage is 316Mbit IN and 41Mbit OUT And on a 100Mbit interface it's reporting 1.16 Mbps IN and 382.39 Kbps out, while real speeds are closer to 4Mbit in and 1.5Mbit out It's

Hi, We receive a lot of emails with embedded pictures (screenshots) to help us understand the issue. I have been unable to paste these images in the description field...... It shows up as an clear object without borders. Upon saving the image will still not show... Am I doing something wrong? FwA 4 stops accepting syslogs (shows No Data)
Hi We recently purchased FwA4 Professional with 30 licenses. Currently we have 12 Cisco Pix firewalls sending logs to it. It receives these logs fine for a day or so and then stops displaying data as it is received. I can see that syslogs are still hiting the server (Redhat Linux - by the way), but it appears it is no longer accepted into the FwA software. Any way I can further troubleshoot this? I do a netstat -l which shows syslog port as listening and traffic hits the queue. The diskspace is still
switch port mapper
Hi all, Iamb a newbie to opmanager so please forgive my ignorance. Iamb trying to get switch port mapper working on one of my switches but cant figure out how to set it up on the switch. I have a linksys SRI248GA4HP with gu. Every time i try and use switch port mapper it comes up saying that "Data not available. Please check device availability and SNMP parameters." Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does Application Manager able to execute .exe program? Or it can only execute .bat? I need to execute .exe program if a service on my server get down. Can .bat refers to execute .exe program? Please help me how to make .bat to execute .exe. What should i write if we have to execute XXX.exe if monitor XXX is down, and YYY.exe if monitor YYY is down?? In order for our Sybase DBA's to allow us to create an ID with the appropriate access to monitor our Sybase database, we need to be able to tell them that the passwords associated with this ID will be stored in an encrypted format. Hi, We want to move Servicedesk Plus to another server, just the front end though as the database is on another server. Are all of the setting for Servicedesk stored in the SQL database or are there other settings that I need to save and migrate accross from the front end as well? Hey Hey, Would it be possible to have the option available to assign defaults entries to all accounts and requests? For instance, if I have a custom field (within Request - Additional Fields) called 'Release Target', and I want the default to be 'N/A', every request created will have that entry already selected. Windows 2003 Server Occassionally Drops
Hey...i've got one server that for the second time now just quits talking via SNMP to OpManager. I'm using the same settings as I am for the other Windows servers... today I went in and all of the info was greyed out in the server status screen. test the credentials, and it fails. got into windows, check the SNMP service and everything seems fine, however OpManager will not talk. I'm running OpManager on a Windows 2000 server using the lastest build. the server is a one year old Dell server (poweredge)

Hi, I would like to schedule different reports and send them to a group for control. I saw scheduled report but I can only set that for one type of report so I cannot set for differents type of report such as password expired soon + Password expired + others..... We have 2 groups which are in charge to control password activities and they want to get those reports on daily basis for each of type of report. Can you tell me how to do that ? Regards Philippe
