issue with NetFlow
Hey guys, i've just dowloaded ManageEngine NetFlow Analyzer pro and i can't get any of our routers to come up on the dashboard. i beleive that we got a firewall inside out network that may be blocking the traffic. We are Ruing ISA server 2006 and our CISCO router is 1841. Alarms not being created, please help
Hi I'm using free version and alarms are not working. I have 5 servers and the dashboard shows the information about errors and warnings but I configured several simple alarms and it never generates one. I tried looking at the Syslog Viewer and nothing appears there ever. But Show Listen Ports detail says Server IP : 192.168.34.35 While the server IP address is 192.168.0.190 Could be that the reason why alarms are not being triggered? Sort Solutions by date
I would like the ability to sort solutions under each topic with the newest date always being displayed at the top of the list. I use Support Center to distribute software releases to my customers and I would always like the newest files/solutions to be at the top of each list.

No backup script in NFA 6001?
I don't seem to have the backup.bat that I normally see in other ManageEngine products. I need to backup my data and repoint it to another drive. Is this something that CAN be done?
Add one filesystem for Partition Details of the Device (%)
When i try to add one additional filesystem i have to remove all monitors to add one. Is there a better way? The same is when my Linux server needs a reboot OP7 gives a lot of partition errors, in Linux everthing is fine, but when i remove and add these monitors again everything is fine. Thanks in advance. Custom mysql query
Is it possible to get a list with all computers that have failed inventory scan status the last 3 times? I�m interested in those computers that continually fails, that will give me some hints in troubleshooting either the computer or if it is inactive I can remove it from the domain. Regards Stefan
V7 bugs/issues
Since the update to V7 I have noticed two more bugs/issues: 1. While typing emails when the autosave feature happens the cursor hops to the bottom of the email and continues your typing down there. 2. The auto save feature also refreshes the main screen, I could start an email reply to a customer and then try to open a quick create call for another customer. If the auto save kicks in on the email before I save the request I loose all the details in the quick create. Could anyone also confirm the

What Happened to MTBF?
I can't find any reports that give me Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) in OpManager 7. Is this feature missing? If not, where can I find this information?

I am trying to configure technician accounts so they have full access to only requests that are assigned to them and to the solutions database. I have been unsuccessful, any help would be appreciated. Thank you David

Questions about assests in SDP
Hi I have some questions I would like to see if there are any answers out here to. 1. We have several IT assets listed. I would like to change the "Vendor Name" from "Not Assigned" to the correct vendor. (e.g. HP, or Dell) Is there any way that I can change multiple assets at one time instead of having to perform this change on an asset per asset basis? 2. Feature Request - Save and Close button
Can you please add a "Save and close" button on the resolution page? At the moment if we want to add a resolution and close without a notification we have to save then go into the request and click action>close without notification
Searching for requests
This may well seem like a stupid question, but hey I need to ask it(I think) I know I can click the search icon at the end of the request list view headers and search via column, but I would like to know how to search without having to choose in the filter the closed requests, of which we have over 4000, which requires me also to change "refresh this page" to something greater than 5 minutes for fear of a refresh during loading. I need to know status of some jobs, and am not sure if they are closed,

Hello, I test the evaluation OPManager software and i can't read have a correct interface description on Cisco catalyst 6500 (with CatOS). The software said : long haul fiber gigabit ethernet and the SNMP index but i cant found the interface number with this snmp index. Then i can't use the soft for Cat 6500 now. Workstation Audit not running
I've been trying to setup a workstation audit schedule, but it doesn't seem to run. I've searched all posts with audit in them and haven't found a post that had a fix. I did see mentioned in one post that somewhere it shows when the next audit will run. Where is that listed? On the Audit Settings page? I've setup all kinds of audit senarios and none of them run.

logging time spent
I am trying to keep track of actual time spent on a request using just the work log. but running the report records additonal time because it is submitted as open and records much more additional time. Is there a way to turn off the timer so i can use just the work log hours.

Problem with linux disk space calculation
Hello all, This my first post to this forum. Its just 1-2 weeks i am using OpManager for monitoring about 100 servers. Especilly i am using this tool to monitor the disk spaces of servers. The disk space shown by OpManager for windows servers is fine, but the problem is with the linux servers I found the disk space calculation for windows and linux servers is done using same SNMP OID. This shows exact free disk space for the windows servers but for the linux servers there is 5% added to the free
Replies creating new tickets
I've noticed recently that our system is creating new tickets on replies, rather than appending the current ticket. I've checked, and the subject line does contain ##SRID##, but even with that, a new ticket is created. Now I know that this was working at one time. I was wondering if something about our rules are messing something up, but I don't see what would. We are on 7.0.0 build 7011. Has anyone else seen this? Is this anything that's been changed in 7012 - I see that's out now. Any information
