can't awknowledge, delte or clear alarm

hey all,

i got mssql monitoring working on one of my database servers today and it generated all sorts of alarms based on the default thresholds. i've modified and disabled the thresholds i require, but some of the alarms generated from the cache hit ratio cannot be cleared. if i acknowledge the alarmi get a "alarm awknowledged" message at the top of the screen but the alarm still reads "unassigned" under technician. if i try to clear or delete the alarm, i'm given a blank screen.

any help?

p.s. if it requires a sql query please give me the specific commands to connect to the opmanager database. i do not have them documented.
