Linux server monitors stop monitoring
I am having a problem where some of my linux server monitors stop reporting any data. If you restart the app, then the monitoring starts again. If you edit the monitor it will also start monitioring again. Jeff Kreska

Using special characters CSV import
Hi, When i'm trying to import users into the Active Directory from a CSV file some characters won't show up right. Example: � � � turns into small little blocks anyone ?
HIde expired or non existant assets
I need a way to hide /mask Assets that no longer exist in the main interface. We removed the accounts from AD but the rescan of the Domain and import does not remove those records and it should not. BUT there should be a way to not have to look at these items in the program. Relying on Report filtering is not adequate.
Unable to delete products and PO's
Hi, We have a bunch of products in SD that were in there before I became admin. When I try to delete them I get this error: FAILURE :Error occurred while deleting Product. Please report the problem to the system administrator, with the Error Code - 1,205,515,283,809. I made sure that I have no assets assigned to those products. I found out that I have some PO's with these products but I cannot delete those PO's also, I get this error: FAILURE :Error occurred while deleting purchase order. Please

Hi all I would like to use the Netflow Analyser graphs in order to build a Monitoring dashboard of our network. We actually use MRTG in order to build some Internet Pages on the response time between two sites, the bandwidth used and so one... Netflow Analyser is much better that what we have ( except for the response time =) ) and I would like to use that tool to generate automatic pages to be displayed in our Monitoring Dashboard. Custom views - Error when selecting Sub Category

Sharing Categories
Is there a way to share password categories? I wanted to setup the categories for user personal accounts and share them out so the end user doesn't have to set these up individually. When we make this available to all users I would like to avoid a bunch of calls on how to use the system.
App Manager no longer able to generate reports
I am no longer to generate reports, we have succesful monitoring, however every report errors with there is no data available for this period. It had been running fine for a long period however just recently stopped. Scott Mirabello

Viewing Netflow webspage from Another PC
Hi Guys, I am trialing your Netflow Analyzer 7 for our business. What i am trying to achieve is that I have Netflow Analyzer setup on one of our servers, I have a PC in our Office that accesses a website where we currently use a Solarwinds Product to monitor our network and then Projects it onto the wall. is it possible for that PC to access the servers Netflow Analyzer Webpage so we can Project it on our office? thanks Jinx
1 Minute Flat Files. Where are they?
From a previous support request I have the following note. "Starting from NFA 6.1, we store 1 minute data in flat files (since it is faster to access and report from) and have done away with the DstIf1Min table". Where are the flat files? Are they in a readable format? I would like to take them and plot them for use in an external Drupal portal page that we are creating. We would like 1 minute granularity. If not possible, we can use the 10 Minute table from the database. Any help would be appreciated.

Report for assets on a contract

AD not automatically acquiring new employees
For a while my HelpDesk AD was automatically updating with new employees from Active Directory, now I have to manually import. The (new) Domain Name is correct as is the ID and password of the Administrator account. Is there a setting or a reset I need to perform to get the product to automatically pull from AD? thanks

How to : receive 1300 WinXP Traps ?
Hi ! I am in the process of monitoring SNMP Traps from all our Workstations via OpManager so we can use the central tool we have, however I have some issue and I hope there is a "clean" solution. I can set all my workstation to send SNMP traps to our opmanager server with a script and it works fine. However, for the traps to be "received" It seem that each workstation need to be created device in OpManager and must be in "Managed" status. However I dont want to poll for 1300 Workstation every 5 min,
Created then gone missing Business Views
I am having a problem where when I create a business view (as Admin), add devices, name and save it, the view does not show up under "Business views". If I name the new view the same as one I had previously created, but does not show up under "BVs", I get the message that a BV with that name already exists. I have tried running the DBrepair tool but the problem continues. We currently only have 33 BVs built and I need to build many more so I have to find a problem resolution ASAP. Thanks :!:

CSV Import information
We have our own custom written application that can use supportcenter for the support side of the organisation (using CSV exports) We need to know a couple of things first. First we need to find a way to enable/ordisable logins for contacts programmatically (likely through sql statements). This would be nice to have in the CSV import, but we can do it if you provide the table and field location. Second, we need to get a list of the fields that can be imported using the CSV. I am checking out the asset management, and I think its a cool feature, it lets me see what licences are used so I dont have to keep track...except I have a corporate licence for Office 2003, and it is picking up the licence as valid for only three users. How do I get it to correct that information?

Adding a switch after it was deleted fails to show up
I deleted a switch from the Switches tab under switch port mapper and the next day tried to add the switch back and it does not show up. When I add the switch in the Add switch pop-up it says the switch was added successfully but it is no where to be found.

Possible bug with Cisco ASA?
Hi everyone, We are running several cisco ASA 5500 devices. I have Op manager watching them and all was well. The ASA's were running Cisco ASDM version 5 with ASA software version 7. We've recently updated them all to ASDM 6.11 and ASA 8.0.3. Everything still works except for one weird issue. The interfaces now read 0 for the speed and the availability for some of the interfaces always shows the "parent down". Rediscovery doesn't help. I've attached two screen shots to show. outbound traffic missing
We monitor about 10 interfaces with netflow. Recently 3 of those managed interfaces have stopped showing outbound traffic. It just sits at 0% and 0.0 Kbps nothing has changed on the routers or anything. We did move netflow to a new server, recently but i can't understand why the inbound traffic is working fine but outbound doesn't. any ideas? p.s traffic is defiantly flowing in both directions

Is there a list of valid fields that we can have when importing devices using a CVS file? I read the help you have on the subject but it said name, ip, device ect.
Netflow analyzer web page format is messed up

view/generate report from imported log
Hi, I currently trying out ME Firewall Analyzer. I'm trying to generate a report based on a log file from the local machine. I've imported the log in with the Ignore UnParsed/Junk Record(s) option unchecked. The log file was imported successfully as indicated by the table in the Imported Log File page. According to the user manual, a report is automatically generated after the log file is imported, but I'm having trouble finding and viewing the report of the imported log. Can you please help with
Feature Request - Admin access to Personal Passwords
We would like to see an option where personal passwords are *automatically* accessible by the admin user without the user having to manually share them(selectable within general configuration settings). This feature more directly addresses the enterprise requirements needed by most companies of any size. Asset field not populating automatically in build 7013
Hi. We are using Servicedesk Plus 7013 Enterprise. After the update to 7013 the asset field no longer populates automatically when a requestor name is chosen from the New Request screen. It flickers as if it has populated but doesn't. We then have to click the icon next to the asset field to choose the asset associated to the requestor. This was supposed to be one of the fixes implemented in 7013, but actually it has made the problem worse. I would appreciate a response from support please.
