Cannot edit business view anymore
Well, I cannot edit my business views anymore, it just says loading. Restarting opmanager or the server did not help... Any ideas? Regards Bj�rn

Hi, i am configuring alerts for oracle databases. I saw that application manager has the possibility to enable data collection for 'Top 10 Queries by Disk Reads and Buffer Gets' and 'Lock and Wait Statistics'. Snmp - Switch discovery
Hi Guys I am currently testing your Service Desk Plus software. Great software. The only issue I have is that I cant retrieve any information from switches. I'm not sure if its possible with this product. I am recieving an RPC error and i would have thought it would use SNPM withthe public string. I would like to be able to display the IT Services against a change in a report or at least use the IT Services as part of a filter. Can this be done?
OPManager not monitoring CPU and Memory
Don't know if I am missing something here but, I've setup OpManager with Read/write on SNMP and I just cannot get it to monitor the CPU and processor. Everything else is working. I've tried this on the MYSQL database and now running it on MSSQL 2000. Please could you help tell me what is wrong as we need reports and have paid for this software.
Software Query
I am trying to set up a new query but with no luck. I need it to find all the computers that have specific software on them. Can someone help? It should be like this Software 1 | Software 2 | Software 3 | etc User1 User 2 User 3 etc. The user I am hoping can be pulled from the person the asset is assigned to if not it can just be the computer name if that is easier. Mail Fetching
Hello, I am new in fact I am trying to setup the demo still to show off. I am trying to setup mail fetching and it is not working at all. Nothing is ever created. We are running Exchange 2003 as our mail server and I have tried mapi and pop and on both I get an error of "FAILURE :Email Settings saved successfully. But error occured while trying to check connection with mail server - Problem connecting to mailbox." What am I doing wrong? I have created a support file but it is to big to attach.
Cisco Aironet 1100 Access Point
I am having trouble finding the MIB or OID to discover basic host stats from my 1100 access points such as CPU usage and Memory Usage. I am running build 7024, but there is no device template for the 1100. Can you point me in the right direction to build these monitors?
Combine LAN & WAN sections.
First of all well done AdventNet on this piece of software! Basically here is my problem; my proxy logs are being divided by LAN & WAN results, is there a way to combine it all in LAN. For example when we go to "Top Talkers" it divides the information in LAN and WAN section though because of our network infrastructure it doesn't divide the information properly. Any ideas on how to have all HOST information in only LAN (basically getting rid of WAN) would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi, how can i copy a report? I want one Report with many diffrent filters but i could not find to copy them. When i save the report the old one is renamed to the new report with the Options i entered. Any hints? Yours Oliver

Hi We have a different domain set up in active directory for each geographical office/location in our organisation. Each site is responsible for their own software license management. Is there a way to view scanned software by domain? Regards Tim

attatchment size limit?
we are having some problems during mail pickup. It seems that SDP will not pickup an email if the attachment is greater than 10MB. Can someone show me where to change this. our internal limits are higher and sometimes (I would say 30%) the attachments can get much larger than 10MB
Trying to migrate the MTSQL DB to MSSQL.
Hi Been running OpManager on MYSQL but wishing to migrate it over to MSSQL. The issue I have is that the DatabaseMigrator.bat is not working and if I do switch over to MSSQL There is not data and trying to import devices, it says the delvice is already added. Can you assist with somesort of tool to move this database over to MSSQL.

Freezing the heading section on the Hosts and Apps tabs
Two items that I have come across after adding more than 15 hosts: 1.) Is it possible to "freeze" the light blue heading section on the hosts view on the home page? Once you start scrolling down the list of hosts, the heading section scrolls off the screen. 2.) Also, the "view per page" option does not seem to hold. Is there any way that this can be made a "global" or default changeable setting, so that the view per page stays put? Thanks!

Hello, There is a bug in EventLog Analyzer 5. When we click on Alert tab, click on New Alert Profile and select a group of hosts using IE appears an �empty� space in Window. But in Firefox this issue doesn�t exist. See attached pdf to see the screens.

Netflow alerts
Hi, is there a way to configure netflow to send alerts to OpManager when no flow is received via a particular link? Most of our WAN links are either microwave or DSL links connected to ethernet ports and therefore the port never goes down which makes it impossible to monitor the link status. Regards, Ramzi

Contracts table information in SupportCentre Plus
I would like to add the Hours Spent and Hours Remaining (from the Contracts screen) in a report. There are no standard reports for the Contracts information, but I was wondering if someone could give me an SQL to let me know the table and field names that hold this information. Hi, Does anyone know the OIDs for monitoring CPU, Memory and Backplane Utilization on a 3Com switch? Also please use this post to specify custom OIDs for monitors that you know and the corresponding Device types. Will be helpful for other OpManager users. Also do try out the new Device Templates feature in Opm 7 which allows you to create templates for monitoring devices and share with the OpManager community. Regards Girish

Hi, Yesterday one of our monitored interfaces stopped recording any inbound traffic. In the netflow console it just shows no data availble. If i change the data range to a previous week there is heaps of data. I'm pretty sure nothing has changed on the router. here is the running config, please check for any errors ASAP as we really need to have this interface monitored. version 12.4 service timestamps debug datetime msec service timestamps log datetime msec service password-encryption service sequence-numbers

Cannot enter a technician (myself) as an Administrator
I am logging into SD+ as the domain admin and setting up the technicians. I set up myself with my ID and a password then select to my my account and administrator. When I log in as myself I cannot see any open tickets nor do I see the administration tabs at the top. I have deleted myself out of the requestors list and removed the account many times. Any ideas?
