report wizard: offer Available Columns in Group By pulldown
I just submitted this Request for Feature:
Features In Brief:
Need Request Subject offered on Custom Reports, Tabular Reports module on Grouping page in the Group By pulldown. For that matter, offer anything that can be selected in the Available Columns panel of the Display Columns page.
Description:
The first report my manager wants is to see Time Spent, grouped by Request Subject, then Technician, subtotalling time per person, time per Request ticket. Cannot group by Subject and not even Request ID. Created Time did not work as a workaround, for [strangely,] the time of day is not [even] available as part of the Created Time when grouped.
Additional Comments:
Apparently the only way to do this is outside SD+, and we've been trying hard to satisfy our needs within SD+ rather than the slippery slope of the complex ER diagram for SD+. I am truly befuddled as to why a Time Spent report cannot total up per request - one of a number of supervisors' basic needs. The first request he asks for and I cannot do it with SD+. Sigh.
