Unable to Scan Asset
Hi There ServiceDesk, I am unable to scan an asset within the ServiceDesk, the asset has been imported from AD and the system knows it's IP Address, however, when i attempt to scan it i get the following message. FAILURE :Either access denied for the user or the remote DCOM option might be disabled in the workstation. I have been advised that the windows firewall is causing this issue. I am unable to disable the firewall (Corporate Policy) and would like to know if there is an exception that i can

Cannot edit SDGuest
Hello: I cannot edit the SDGuest role. I go into the role description and tick/untick some boxes, but there is no save option, only "cancel". Is there another way to save modifications? We are on build 7012, and do not have the option to upgrade at this time since the last attempt at upgrading failed. Thanks!

Hi All, apologies if this has been asked in the past, I did a search but couldn't find anything. Is it possilbe to disable the email notificaiton that is generated when you assign a request to yourself using the Pick Up option? It's not necessary to tell yourself that you have assigned a request to you. Cheers
Firefox 3.01 - Checked items don't close or assign
On the latest build of ServiceDesk Plus, I am using Firefox 3.01. When I go to assign or close a ticket or tickets by checking them off and then clicking Close or Assign, nothing happens. However in IE7, it works.

RADISU Auth
I'm trying to configure RADIUS auth in NFA 7. When I choose something other than PAP and click submit, it automatically goes back to PAP. I also never authenticate (according to my RADIUS logs I never even get an attempt). Anyone get this working?

Virtual Memory in asset hardware tab
When I look at the virtual memory value for a computer in asset management, it seems to be telling me the wrong number. I have a laptop that is has a 7168MB page file, and SD+ is telling me that it has 1.99GB of virtual memory. Can someone tell me why that is? I am using SD+ build 7017.

Slow Domain Login
I have setup the AD Self Service. All seems to be workig except when I login as "Domain User" it takes about 60 seconds to login. Any Ideas?

Notify Technician of Tasks
We currently add tasks to some of our tickets when they require multiple technicians to perform work. Is there a way to email a technician their task? I know you can reply to the technician to whom the request/ticket is assigned, but sometimes other technicians who only have a task assigned to them need a reminder.

Hi All , I'm new to Application Manager . i install it under Debian 4.0 server it works great and i manage to monitor my Tomcat server , JMX application and VM . the problem i'm facing is that my application is fast really fast , its a jboss jms client and the data update is 100 messages per second . the minimum pooling interval is 1 minute . is there a way to make is 3 seconds ? this server will monitor only to servers so the cycle is just this checks Thanks

I have a monitor that I only want to run every 24 hours (86400 seconds) but start next monday. How can I setup the monitor so the poll happens at a specific time? I'd want to be able to set this per monitor.

2 problems with Trial version
We are currently evaluating OpManager in a network with amoing 300 servers. Problem 1) We are using Internet Explorer as browser and when requesting the servers view, IE use very long time downloading the page. In the lower left corner it says "xxx items remaining". It seems it must download an icon to display on the page for each server making the page load in 15 sec+++ Problem 2) is anyone else experiencing problems that the Apache server craches ? Our OPManager Apache server crasches about twice
Change user permission level
I don't see a way to do this so this may be a feature request. I would like to be able to change a users permission level. Currently the only way I have found to do that is to delete the user and add it back with the desired permissions. Thanks.

Good day, can I create a (Delivery Recipient Settings ) report using AD Manager which I can use to restrict send and receive external emails. I have applied Message Delivery Restriction to require users to be authenticated. The restriction only work one way. The users can still send emails externally but they can not receive. Disabling accounts using CSV import doesn't work ?
Hi, I'm trying to disable accounts, hide from Exchange address lists and add a description and a new password, and it will do all of those except disable the account. Is there a way to disable it with all those, or does it have to be done separately. History Tab No Changes
After updating to release 7018 we are having issues with the history tab on our assets. After a scan or a workstation, we get the message "Failure: Workstation Successfully scanned. But problem while adding history of audit for the workstation :767. Please report the problem to the system administrator, with the error code - 1,216,328,996,040 Anyone have any ideas on this?
WMI and Firewall
Hi! I am using OpManager7 (latest release). I want to monitor some devices with WMI which are placed behind a firewall. Is there a way to monitor them without opening a huge range of ports on the firewall?? Does something like a "WMI agent" exist which works on the client and sends all WMI data through one port?? Hello, is it possible to load event logs into App Manager 8 to determine prior downtime? I'm trying to determine how long our exchange server was down in June. Hi, I added new motitor with SNMP OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.6889.2.8.1.6.8 When I tried to get a status for this monitor I recieved 2.jpg Before it I checked this SNMP OID for this device and I recieved normaly answer ( 1.jpg) Add data: 1. This SNMP OID from MIB G3-AVAYA-MIB and this MIB has size - 1.5 MB. 2. Type of this OID is Gauge from RFC1155-SMI What is a problem ? Slava.
Problem with WMI performance monitors!
I recently tried to change the default Windows 2000 and 2003 templates to add additional monitors for free disk space. I noticed the existing monitors were SNMP, so I swapped them out for the WMI monitors (CPU, Memory, and Disk Utilization), and added the free disk space monitor. Now none of the performance monitors work on any of my Windows 2000 and 2003 servers, and I can't get the free disk space monitor to show up at all. In fact, only CPU, Memory, and Disk Utilization will show up. Anything
