Asset relationships - Connected To type

I am trying to use the new relationships in V7 as a CMDB. However, the "Connected To" relationship does not define the type of connection which is very limiting.

Here is an example of what I am trying to achieve: I run servicedesk on Server-A and it uses a SQL server database on Server-B. In servicedesk I setup Server-A and the sericedesk asset to be connected. I also setup Server-B to be connected to servicedesk.

I want to be able to determine what the impact of a broken asset is. Just say, my SQL Server-B crashes. I traverse the relationships that I have defined and see that server-B is connected to servicedesk and so can assume that servicedesk will be impacted. Now just say that servicedesk crashes, what will be impacted. I again traverse the relationships and see that it is connected to Server-B. But this does not mean that SQL is unavailable as the relationship should be that servicedesk depends on Server-B not that Server-B depends on servicedesk.

Used-by is one possible way to define this relationship, but you can only only specify one link in the used-by relationship and SQL server-B might be used by several other systems.

Does anybody have an idea how I can define these types of relationships within the existing functionality?

Or can adventnet add a "type" to the connected to relationship?
