NBAR & QOS Not reading current values
Hi, We have 4 x Cisco 3845 Routers all exporting nbar to NFA however we changed the NBAR settings on the routers but NFA is still showing the old NBAR information. How can I refresh NFA to show the correct information without loosing any data ? Scott

Within the Assets tab of SDP, I have a Resource called Non-IT Assets. Within this resource are specific categories; one of which is Blackberry Handhelds. Within Blackberry Handhelds, there are currently 21 records of Assets (these were all added by a previous employee a few years back). Oracle session monitor
i'm having issues with trying to configure a Session Count alert in Oracle. the only way to get it to trigger an e-mail is by setting the threshold to 1. the session tab on the monitor does display all the current sessions both active and inactive. i'm not sure if i'm misunderstanding what the Session Count alert is looking at or if there is something i missed in the setup to allow it to read the session count correctly
No Data Available on Dashboard
When viewing the EventLog Analyzer dashboard, all of the charts say "No Data Available" and the counters for each host are at 0. I have confirmed it is collecting data because when I open the SysLog Viewer to view raw packets I see messages coming in, but none show up on the dashboard. Possibly a DB error? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
submit a query through web-based (self service portal)
hi team, I have a problem with then queries submit with the web-based into the self-service portal. At this present time our customer can submit a query only by e-mail. the self service portal doesn't work. Should I change something in the system's configuration?? I set up radius login, trying to change the protocol to MSCHAPV2 but it won't change, just goes back to PAP. How do I change it to MSCHAPV2?
Surveys In SC+
Gents is there anyway to see how many surveys we have open currently? The status of each etc? I am trying to get an idea of how many surveys we send vs replies, and to see if we have a customer group not responding or if they are not replying becasue they don't understand what is being asked? David

Choosing 'Site' resets other fields
Hi, Has anyone else experienced the following issue since the latest product upgrade:- A new request is opened and the initial drop downs are selected, including Group & Technician. An option is chosen from the new 'Site' field but the Group & Technician fields are now reset, meaning they have to be selected again. Any ideas? Thanks, Paul.
No data for windows hosts
I am seeing no data for windows hosts. Eventlog analyzer is able to connect to them however no data is being displayed or placed in the database. This is a new problem. I had data for windows hosts until 2 days ago My syslog hosts and linux hosts are fine.
StartWebServer.sh does not exist in apache directory
Hello guys; I'm not able to start opmanager on linux suse10.3, i'm receiving the famous could not establish a connection to web server, server gracefully shutting down message. Followed most of the solution links, but the problem persists, one thing, that the StartWebServer.sh script is not present within the installation directory, could that be the problem? Move solutions to new installation
Hello. We have been trialling version 7 and have taken the opportunity to redevelop all of the fields, etc... Now we want to move across to the new version but we installed the database locally and now want to move it to our database storage location. How do I move the database to a new location for the build 7503 install and point the app to the new location? How do I just take across the "solutions" from the old install (build 7018) to the new install (build 7503)? Thanks. Brad.
Renamed device, lost historical data
Using OpManager 7 build 7025. I just renamed a device and lost the response time and packet loss historical data. I noticed that the device type also changed. I'm not monitoring this device with SNMP, only ICMP. How can I get the old historical data back? I tried renaming it back to the old name, but that didn't work. In addition to changing the name back, I also tried to change the device type back (to what I remembered), but that didn't work either. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tab Order
The tab order (using the Tab key to move throughout the forms) used to work well before the upgrade to 7.5. We used to be able to tab from each field to the next field and then from the big text box (when entering a new request) to the Attach Button and then to the Save Button. Servers showing as Workstations in IT Assets?
Hi, I've been having an ongoing problem with regards to Servers showing as Workstations in the Assets menu. Specifically, I have a series of servers that I want to show as "Server". I've gone into the Admin > Product menu and changed the classification for each to be a server. I've also changed the name of the product to begin with the word "Server". Monitoring a custom event log for events.
Hello, Build 7100 of opmanager and running great. Great product. My question is, we have a server called EmailXtender. This product logs events to an event log that it created called OTG. It is viewable just like the application, security and system event logs on the system. When something is wrong, the product will only write the events to the OTG log. Is there a way for me to create alerts on this custom event log? Thanks!

Cannot connect to host at 8080, was able to yestereday...
Can bring up Netflow client on server via localhost:8080 but cannot connect from other PCs that were able to connect yesterday. "Page cannot be displayed". Nothing has changed that I know of. I restarted the service, no go. Ideas? -Debbi
NBAR
I have a requirement to use NBAR, unfortuntately it is not a possibility to give our Netlfow server the write community for the router I want to query. Does anyone know exactly what changes are made to the router when the write community is provided? It is managed router, therefore I could request a change be made if needed, although if NBAR needs to write to it in realtime then obviously this would not be viable. Any help or advice appreacited. SSL with Netflow Tomcat Server
I am trying to get SSL to work with Netflow server running on a windows 2003 server. I am running Netflow 7 : Version : 7.0 Build Number : 7000 I have followed detailed steps that I found on this sight and still it does not work. I have modified teh server.xml and sample-bindnigs.xml files as well as created the server.keystore file. BUG: Free disc space graph in opManager 8
Hi, we've added a "free disc space in GB" monitor to all our windows servers. When I want to display the graph for a computer with two discs, the standard graph comes up ok, but when I change the period from "Today" to any other period, sometimes the wrong drive is shown up, e.g. "Today" is called for drive C:, changing the period to "Last 7 days" is shows drive E:. Adventnet, We migrated to version 7.5 build 7054 in our laboratory machine. And some test at modules of "assets" have some error with the time. And in the option of "customizing" we identified the "Brazilian Time Zone" does not exist. (GMT - 03:00) Brasilia. Without this the time zone, we can not correctly configured in other modules. NFA - Out of Disk Space
Our NFA server has run out of disk space. The server will not start. Can I delete any or all files in the following directory: \\server\AdventNet\ME\NetFlow\mysql\data\netflow Is there anything that I can adjust so that this doesn't happen again ? Thanks.
Compliments instead of complaining
I would like to give my compliments for once instead of complaining each time what is wrong. We use supportcenter for 1,5 months now and more and more getting the hang of it. The system saves us a lot of time and is much better then our old system (even with the minor problems/issues we have at the moment). I especially like the reporting functionality becasue that gives very fast and clear an overview over whatever we would like to see. I also think that the support is good. We get clear replies

Script Monitor moving table header column names
I have a script monitor setup that has an output table. I've set the proper String and Numeric attributes, but when I poll the monitor it's not keeping the order on the column headers, and not showing one of my columns (DateTime). Suggestions?

Daylight Savings Time goof
Just wondering if anyone else saw this on scheduled reports from Eventlog Analyzer; I have a non compliance report that runs on two of my servers and it emails me a pdf at 6:30 AM EST every morning. Starting yesterday (Sunday, 8 Mar 2009), it is now coming in an hour late at 7:30. I checked the scheduled report settings and it actually changed in the settings to run at 7:30. As far as I know, no one has modified it over the weekend. Has anyone else noticed anything similar? Thanks!
