Unable to add devices

I wonder if anyone of have faced this issue earlier...

I have recently bought a license of OpManager 8.0 Premium for 300 clients. When i try to add a single device, it says the device added successfully. But when i search for the device, i find nothing.

When I discover the entire range of my network, it displays most of the machines as Unknown devices. It also displays some Servers in the list, but it doesn't add any of the servers to the database. It just adds the unknown devices.

I worked on this for almost 3 whole days, trying to find if i was wrong in configuring the SNMP settings on the clients.

After lot of research, i decided to install OpManager 6.0 eval which i had downloaded log ago. This version allows me to add 20 devices.

The results were just as amaizing!!! All the devices get detected automatically and I just don't need to bother. However, the eval version doesn't allow me to discover the network. But when i add devices individually, they get sorted automatically.

Please let me know if there is anything that I'm missing while configuring Version 8.0. Has anyone has faced similar issues? I would be glad to get the resolution to this problem.
