Our servicedesk keeps crashing.
Our Servicedesk v7.5.0 doesn't work anymore. When we look in the eventlog from windows, we see the following errors: At the Applicationlog: Can't open and lock time zone table: Table 'mysql.time_zone_leap_second' doesn't exist trying to live without them At the Systemlog: The ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus service terminated unexpectedly At first it's all works fine, but suddenly servicedesk keeps crashing. First OPManger install, Windows fine, Linux NOT FINE :-(
I've been fooling with OpManager on Windows and I like it a lot, but I won't dedicated a Windows machine for it. I've tried the Linux install on a couple of different machines and I have troubles - it doesn't want to find the mysql instance. If I manually set the correct location for mysql the startup gets further and then it fusses about not having permissions for the database. Is the latest OpManager Linux binary in need of attention or is this something to be fixed by hand?
javaagent WebTransactionAgent.jar not working.
I have added the following option to my jvm options for a Sun One 8.2 Applications Server instance: -javaagent:/export/home/user/WebTransactionAgent.jar But for some reason I can't see any attempt at all during startup to load the jar file. I know my version of java works because when I run: java -javaagent:/export/home/user/WebTransactionAgent.jar the agent starts and ManageEngine connects, but there is no data. Any help?
Wrong Unassigned Ticket Count in Homescreed
Hi, I'm currently running SD+ 7022 with MSSQL. A few months ago, after someone mistakenly rebooted the database server, the number of unassigned tickets displayed on the home screen is wrong, instead it shows an enormously large amount of unassigned tickets of 1301. (pls see image attached) I really cant understand why it would display such a figure on the home screen, but show only one unassigned ticket in detail when the figure "1301" is clicked. The Save button has no effect under Admin > Technicians when trying to modify the settings for existing technicians.

Monitoring Windows Services
Hi, We want to monitor a specific windows service on one of our servers in a specific way. First, do I use "Service Monitoring" under the Services Group or would I want to use "Windows" under the Servers Group? Second, the way the service works is that it restarts itself automatically every 3 minutes. We would like to, if possible, setup a monitor that monitors the service but does not alert us unless it has been down for 20 minutes. I'm pretty sure the first question will be possible, but I am

I have a problem with the option to notify when there is an open application, in the notify tab, there is an option to send a message to the technician, but when I send the message, It does not go to the mailbox of the Technician, which I specified before sending the mail, It goes to another. Monitoring Accuracy in OPManager
Hi, Just want to have a clear idea of what is happening in OPManager. Recently, we're having problems with regards to OP. With some of the servers enrolled in OP it seems that they are not being monitored quite accurately. We've been receiving alert notifications with regards to free disk space, cpu & disk utilization. But upon checking on the server itself, the disk space is still big enough & the utilizations are not that high. Is there something we can do about it? Kindly enlighten me on this
New income jobs from email come closed
Hi, I'm using support center 7 trial, I've been using it for 2 weeks and all is fine, but now when new emails come in from clients, it creates a job with status CLOSED, so not coming up in the request. This happens only for request created by email, if created manualy all works fine. I can't find in the admin setting anything to do with this. Any ideas? Thanks

Expired Contract picked up (in 7016)
Hi, I have just upgraded to 7016. I am not planning on using the "Contract linked to Product" feature yet. There is an account which has 2 contracts, one expired on 31 December 08 (with no product attached), and one which is current (no product attached either). If a request is raised (and a product selected as they need to do), the contract which is attached to the request is the old, expired contract! This should not be the case. Has anyone else noticed, and can offer any advise? Thanks.
Installation on XP pro - get login box before website loads.
I'm running the eval for SD+7.5 on an XP Pro SP3+ Box. When I access the SD website I get a login box before the page loads. I can hit enter and it goes away...but how do I get rid of it? I have IIS running as it supports another web based application...but SD doesn't use it (why?)...that appliation doesn't have this problem. Anyway...I'd like to get rid of this strange login box. As title, user has already been configed in my machine and Mib browser. Machine supports SNMP V3 and only SNNP NBI agent has been restarted after configuration, MIb browser can get data from my equipment. Could you tell how I can debug this issue on server side ? AdventNet in my system is in release 4.0.3, any tools can help ? thanks for your help!

Hi, Need help in OPManager. Is there a way to check why monitoring in OPManager is not that accurate? Hi, I have tried the guide for the NetFlow to enable it on the IOS ver. 12.4, but it does not seem to work. I've checked the version of the Guide and it is for 12.1. I hope the guide can be updated soon, as this will be such a confussion for other users. Multiple SNMP credentials
Hi, We're monitoring several linux servers, and require a different snmp port for squid as opposed to the standard snmp monitoring port. We've tried setting both sets of credentials, but it seems from the snapshot that we can only apply one set (and one port) to the server. Rather than forwarding the ports on the server, is there a way we can use different snmp ports for different checks?

Hi, I'm setting up OpManager here for the first time and seem to be getting some strange behaviour. 1. I have added 2 URL monitors and while they show up on the Infrastructure Snapshot, they do not appear under the URL monitors and so I can't edit/delete the ones I have already added 2. I have added 2 firewalls and again, they show up in the Infrastructure Snapshot, but they do not show under Firewalls - if I chage it to 'List View' in the firewalls section they do appear there. I need to configure Foundry device as CISCO switch and then SSH works but command syntax is incorrect so I can do nothing. Initially when i first set it up, everything seemed to work except i was getting an internal server error 500. Conditional Notifications via E-mail or SMS
Hello, Just wondering if you guys can consider putting in conditional checks for the triggering of sms or e-mail delivery for notifications. For example, during the normal work day I would like all the technicians to receive e-mail notices about new tickets. However, I would also like to send out SMS notifications to technicians who are mostly away from their desk. At night, I would like for sms notfications to be turned off for most technicians, but leave it on for specified people but ONLY

IE6 security popups with SSL
I've installed an SSL certificate on my SD plus 7506 server. When using the site via IE6, I get security popups indicating that non-secure (http) traffic is being served along with the secure (https) traffic. This doesn't appear to occur for other browsers. I can duplicate it using the reports tab, as soon as I mouseover any of the reports, the error occurs. It seems to be related to the javascript onmouseover command that displays the tooltip.
