Hello All / I'm a new ServiceDesk Plus user and trying to make some sense of the icons that appear in the "Assets > Workstations" view. For my Windows machines I get the little "flying window" icon, which is self-evident as to what it indicates. Hi all, i create a report for exapmle as a "test". My way is: Reports-create new customer report" give a name and go trought the wizzard. At the end i saved the report but i cant find the my saved report. I checked all categories but i see nothing. Can somebody help me plaese?

1) My suggestion to the SDP development team is that they allow dates to be entered by keyboard, in addition to selecting them from the calendar control. Error adding device to opmanager get error msg
I am having issue with adding devices for monitoring. I get a message of Status Message Unable to find the object : 10.40.0.1. It was able to pull the device and type. Is there a way to fix this I need to monitor these devices. The devices is are for vlan monitoring if this help.
JMX attributes sorting
Kind Sirs, my applications are monitored using a monitor type "JMX applications". When I add the attributes, the order in which they are showed is not the one I would like to see. Is there any way to sort them? Thanks

Question regarding EventLog with MS Exchange Logs
Hello, I'm looking for a software who can analyze the Microsoft Exchange Logs and do some graphs as your web based EventLog Analyzer. Can he manage that or not? As I can see in your demo, he can only analyze the logs of Windows server but not the logs of the inbound and outbound emails right? Emailed PDF corrupt?
I'm using Eventlog Analyzer (4.0.3 free) and trying to get SOX complaince reports emailed to myself. I am receiving the email via exchange and it comes as a zipped PDF. I can unzip the file successfully. When I try to open the PDF (with Acrobat Reader 7.0.9), I get the error that it is either not a supported file type or the file has been damaged. Any ideas on this?

Dear Sir/madam, We are currently evaluating Service desk build 7506 where we are facing issue in receiving mails from POP3 server to raise a ticket. We have configured mail server settings according to admin guide shared in your website. We have separate mail account. We generate a mail towards the adventnet mail box, but ticket was not raised. While checking the support file, it is clearly mentioned that mail is fetching but empty inbox. Please guide us in resolving the issue with regards,

Hi, We should have an option where we can configure the system configuration in such a way to restrict system to send an Auto acknowledgement only on Email requests, and we should have an option in the system where we can restrict system not to send notification where support team email id is kept under CC or BCC. Reporting on requests which are outside of SLA
Hi Support / fellow users, I've been asked by my board to provide a report to each of our clients detailing requests which have fallen outside of the agreed SLA period. Firstly, I can't see a simply way to identify such requests from within a Report, other than re-creating my SLA rules one-by-one within a Report. Two questions related to the requestor upload from a CSV file. 1) What is the required file format of the csv file 2) Can I just update certain fields on the requestor details? In my case I want to update the department for a bunck of users. How can I achieve this?

We are about to begin using SD Plus for our change control. In our previous system, we have entered 4000 plus changes and would like the SD Plus change control id number to start at number 4500 so there are no duplicate change numbers. Can this be done? Thanks

Hi All, I have ServiceDesk Plus 7.5 installed. About a month ago I enabled Active Directory Intergration, but my techs where setup locally. So now when one of the techs open ServiceDesk it defaults to thier Active Directory user account instead of thier Administrator account. My Question is how do you merge all the tickets from a local admin to a AD account? Thanks in Advance.

Under server monitors for the Exchange monitors there's a service name "MS Exchange SNMP" monitor and in the description it reads "Simple Management Trasfer Protocol service." It should read Simple Mail Transfer Protocol.

Dashboard and Backup Problem
Hi Guys, I have a problem with my dashboard - Availability Distribution. I believe that OpManager Database is corrupted because the graphics only show me some information if I select more than 7 days. I tried to stop OpManager and run repairDB.bat and start the opmanager again, but didn´t work . Other problem is when I try to do backup of Data Base. notification profiles with multiple dependencies
Hello, is it possible to use notification profiles with multiple dependencies? For example: a UPS perfomes self-test once a month. While self test UPS charge decrease to 70% (f.e.). The UPS sends a Trap "self-test passed" to OPManager if self-test is ok. I want to get a notification for low UPS charge only if within 5 mins of first "low alarm" no trap "self test passed" for this device occurs. thanks for responce
