OPmanager integration
Dears, We have a problem in the integraton between Servicee desk plus and Opmanager , We've configured the 4 steps in the PDF file while when we create new ticket profile, the category list and technician list are empty ? N.B: SDP is 7.5 and OPmanager is 8 Please advise

Tips needed for scanning Apple Equipment
hi all, We have several Apple machines on our network and I am not sure what the trick is to get them scanned. I noted that a couple seem to have worked but I am not sure what I need to setup to get the rest scanning. Any info would be appreciated.. Cheers Paul

Eventlogs is not gathering events after a full reinstall
Hello, Due to a server crashed, I reinstalled Eventlogs 5 build 5000 I'm using SQL 2000 as DB back end I checked the account in SQL got all rights DB has been created with no problem, I can login in Eventlogs I can add hosts but ELA is not gathering events. I tried on several computers ut it is the same thing. I need your help on this as i need to put again audit on several computers. Thank you for your quick answer Best regards Philippe

DataBase Restore Problems
Hi There My support centre was installed on a machine with a name "garfield" and port no 8080. I made a backup of the db which indicated was sucessfull. File size is 32mb. I installed support centre onto a new server with a different computer name and port number like above. New name "gemini" new port no: 80 I tried to restore the db and it will not - is any of the above the reason for that? Thanks

I need help configuring Applications Manager 8 so that it does not report all eventlog errors, such as failure to auto-create printers in citrix, as this is creating alot of false positives. Support Reps unable to create their own tickets?
If a person is a Support Rep, how do they create a ticket for themselves? They do not show up as a contact. In your product Service Desk, you allow escalating the contact to a technician, which allows them to create tickets for themselves. What is your methodology to solve for this? The only thing I can think of is to make them as a contact, however, if the email is the same, the system has a problem with it. Also, if I use a fake email, the conversations dont work. I guess I can make an email alias

Why does it seem that We are getting ignored when we are priomised a feature that has been getting pushed over and over. Email attachments when is this going to be fixed. instead of adding more things/ features why not fix the ones that are broken. I need this fixed asap. unable to change AssetExplorer Alert email recipients
Hello all, I am looking to change who gets the following asset inventory change email. The subject is : ManageEngine AssetExplorer Alert - Inventory Audit Changes. and it appears to come out right after the domain scan occurs. Is it possible to add existing logic in the system through the "Request Form Customizer"? Meaning, can I add "Sub-Accounts" to the Request Form? or In the "Request - Additional Fields, select things that already exist in the system, like Sub-Accounts?

Hello, I am monitoring a few devices running Gentoo Linux. OpManager is running on Centos5.3. OpManager is sending snmp queries to some of my devices every other second constantly. It looks like it is from the hostresouces mib hrSWRunTable. Any ideas on why this is constantly running in a loop? I am not monitoring any processes on my servers. Fresh install of NFA 7.5 can't access SQL server?
I get this when I try to start a brand new instance of NFA 7.5. I recall having problems like this long ago running NFA on SuSe and needing to edit an XML file to change references from 'localhost' to '127.0.0.1'. There was a necessity for transition from MYSQL DB Server to MSSQL. In ServiceDesk 7508 (MYSQL) the backup copy has been made. Then the program has been completely reinstalled. During the installation was configured to connect to the new database server. Unable to assign technician, group, site when editing request
Hi, I have "Pick(ed) Up" various tickets in our system and the group got reset to -. I went into edit on these tickets but when I click on technician, group or site, the dropdown lists contain nothing. This happens in IE 7 and Firefox 2 and 3. Because the group is not set, various views that my team use will not see any of these tickets. The dropdown lists just say "Choose Technician", "Choose Group" etc but nothing is in the list. I've added a couple servers that run Exchange 2007, but OpManager doesn't apply any Exchange monitoring templates for that server (Like AD or SQL). Am I missing a step? Thanks Shaun

mangement server cpu stays high after upgrade
We upgraded to sp 6.10 the other day & since then the CPU on our management server climbs to 99% until we restart the service. Task manager shows java to be the issue. At that level the App Manager site is inaccessible and the reports don't run. I ran repairdb and optimizedb. We're on Windows 2003 sp2. The managed servers don't seem to be having a problem.
