Hi, I am playing around with SupportCenter Plus 7.6 trial version. I wanted to set up prefix with request id when the request was created. For example, request id to be 'BHP-243'. Is this possible? If yes, how do set up? Thanks,
Edit Contact's Job Title from Account Screen
When in the Account view, and you see the list of contacts for that Account, hitting the edit icon next to their name allows you to edit their name, email, and phone number, along with their login details. Can we also have it to where you can edit their Job Title? As it is currently, once in the Account view, you need to click on the contact's name, to be then taken to the contact view page, where you then have to hit the edit button to edit the Job Title. Hi. I am currently evaluating Desktop Central and we intend to purchase it. Although we are pleased enough with the current features to warrant a purchase, the single biggest missing feature when compared with our current management product is the lack of real-time interaction with the agents. Running the Apply Now tool from a command line is cumbersome. Please integrate this functionality into the GUI. Thank you!

Application Manager shows "No data available to generate graph" for windows 2003 CPU
Hi, I installed the Application Manager v 9 build 9110. When I started it for the very first time it already showed me information regarding the server itself. I know this is what expect. Unfortunately I am not able to get any data for the CPU, but I am able to see all the other information. Note that I discovered other Windows 2003 servers without any problem. I am getting error code 515 invalid license file for event log analyzer when i try to start the server. This is in turn producing a mysql error and does not start the server.
Accidentally deleted 'Region'
I have accidentally deleted a region. As a result, my associated sites are no longer appearing. I have recreated the region however, since the sites weren't deleted, I am not able to recreate these - FAILURE :Site with same name already exists. Please provide different value for Site Name. Obviously this is because the Site name already exists in the database but is still linked with the original Region that was removed. Is there a way that I can restore the link? Thank you
Can't add a notification profile to a device.

Scheduling Asset Scans
Hello, We're using ServiceDesk Plus in a global environment. It would be beneficial for me to be able to run automated scans for different AD OUs at different times to ensure that the systems at that site are powered up. Right now I have one scheduled scan, but that means that I have to manually scan the OUs of the sites that are not open at the scheduled time. Is there a way to add additional schedules? It would be even better if I could add one schedule per OU (or group of OUs). Thanks!
Adding Users - Old Work-around Not Working
Hi. Sorry, but I can't find the thread in which someone helped me with this previously.....didn't mean to double-up on similar threads. Anyway... when I first got going with SDP, when it came time to add users, I could not use the domain import feature, because I'm just one small department on a large campus, and didn't want all of those accounts in my SDP. So, someone here gave me a way to do it....I'd create a user account within the SDP system, and then log into SQL and run a couple commands.

Send notifications on email request ONLY
We receive most of our requests through email, but a number of them are also received as walk-in tickets or over the phone, and are hand-entered into SD+. Why do Windows Performance Counters show so many 0 values ?
Hi, I configured a "Windows perfomance counter"-monitor for I know, that the system I'm monitoring is under heavy I/O-load. But AppManager shows lots of zero values: On some Attributes 2 of 3 values show zero (instead of meaningful value) on other attributes alle values show zero. How to tell is SSHD is running on the HA Secondary server
I am testing HA functionality. It seems as though the SSHD is not running on the secondary server, and when the primary fails, SSH CLI calls to the secondary fail. 1. Should SSHD be running on the secondary server at all times? 2. If it should, how can I tell if it's running, I am not able to bring up the PMP web page for the secondary system. 3. It it is not supposed to be running, how does it get started when the primary fails? Thanks. -John

I want to setup a rule or escalation that pages the oncall tech when a ticket is created, but only after hours. Right now there doesnt appear to be a way to evaluate based on 'creation time' is there anyway anyone can think of to do this ? Right now they page all day which gets annoying ..

polling with admin view
Hi, If an alarm is raised and you go to the specific monitor you don't have the option to execute an extra poll. This is only possible when going to the monitor from a managed server. Is this normal behavior and is there an sollution without the need to open the managed server page and go to the monitor. TIA Rene

It seems that while the AM center access the 135 port of the remote client, the client's RPC will feedback the available ports to AM Center, and the range of this available ports may be 1025 to 5000.
