Can't open attachments after migration from windows to linux
Hello. I moved SDP from MS Windows Server 2003 R2 to Linux Ubuntu Server 10.10. Everything work fine, but in old (created before migration) requests i cant open attached files. Opens a blank page. In new requests i can open attached files. I tried to repeat migration process from another SDP instanse - the same problem. How i can resolve problem?

We moved from Track-It to SDP about 9 months ago. A feature we feel we are missing is the "assignments" that Track-it had. We could have a ticket, but assign parts of it to different techs. Then only when all "assignments" were complete could we close the original ticket. I know that SDP has tasks, but this does not seem to work the same way. There are a couple big differences. 1. From the dashboard summary page the receive % on all interfaces is showing up as the interface speed.
Automatically change users Active Directory Password?
Can Password Manager Pro automatically change a users Active Directory password at a predefined interval and then email the new password to an email address? For instance we have a generic wireless guest user in Active Directory called “wifiguest” that we would like Password Manager Pro to automatically change the password every week and email our helpdesk with the new password. Is this something Password Manager Pro can do?
Windows Services down - ******ALERTS NOT SENT*******
Hello, I was running Opmgr 8723. We do not get alerts for Windows services that crash anymore. I have opened up a case and uninstalled 8723, but the issue remains. Are there any other clients having this issue? Thanks. Update 3/24: Process monitor alerting broken as well, dead in the water here.

7704 - Upgrade trashes Request filters, displayed columns and their order
Folowing an upgrade to 7704 we have found that, for all our support reps, the Request filters they had selected as their 'default' display when they clicked on the Requests tab have been changed. As well as this, the columns they displayed in this view and the order in which they are displayed were all reset to a very un-helpful 'default'. Whilst I appreciate there's no way for us to retrieve everyone's previously-configured views, could you please ensure that in future updates this information

Syslog server down - still gets logs
Hi, Our netscreen firewall is sending traffic logs to the firewall analyzer serevr on UDP. The firewall Analyzer is receiving the logs but the syslog server says that it is down on the syslog server setting page as shown below... SysLogServer-1 10.166.55.78,10.166.48.190 514 Down Why does the server think it is down when it is receiving logs?

Ping Response Times
Hello, we have Cisco switches we are monitoring. The first ping is always 10 to 20ms for each polling time, but consecutive pings are less than 1ms. Is there a way for manage engine to take an average or look at the 2nd or 3rd pings for response time? Is there a way to send more than one ping even? I am guessing there is a delay for ARP or the switch to create a flow for traffic to the CPU. Thank you.

Request Closure Notification
I am currently using the feature to notify technicians when a request is closed: "Send e-mail to following technician(s) when a request is closed." However, the technician closing the request does not receive a notification. Is there a way to allow notifications to be sent even to the technician who is assigned/closes the request? Thanks.
OpManager can't monitor PowerEdge r610
I configure de SNMP community on my PowerEdge r610 through the OS. Set the community name, IP host trap destinations to my OpManager server. So we discover the new device with address 10.73.xxx.xxx, subnetmask 255.255.240.0, it works! As you can see in screenshot_1.jpg it shows data, so the SNMP protocol and credentials are working as you can see in screenshot_2.jpg. This server is a PowerEdge r610. Syslog server down - still receiving logs
Hello, In Firewall Analyzer the default syslog server says that it is down, as shown below SysLogServer-1 10.1.1.1 514 Down However the server is receiving syslogs, and lots of other info from the firewall..... is this normal?
SDP: Report not working when date is included
Hi, I have most of my reports not working (giving out empty sets even when it is obviously not the case) Trying to launch the query created by the wizard directly on the DB generate a syntax error. Setting Up Firewall Analyzer
I'm setting up a firewall analyzer server. It's on the same subnet as my Check Point management server. I have everything configure on the management server including the $FWDIR/conf/fwopsec.conf file. I wanted to use authentication to pull log data from the management server. I established SIC and I can see LEA traffic between the firewall analyzer and the management station but the logs don't seem to be making into the server. I tried to simplify the issue by configuring the servers for no authentication.
