DHCP question

SNMP Trap help
In the below PIX trap, what exactly do i need to do to get rid of all the un-decypherable OID digits and have real understandable text? In SNMPc I used to have to compile into the Mib Tree all of the PIX mibs. I am still uncertain of how Opmanager does this even after reviewing the Demos and HOW-TOs. Can someone shed some light on what exactly I need to do. Anyone know a method to view the complete revision history for a particular request entered in the Support Center? It doesn't seem to capture this information for auditing purposes. Thanks!

Juniper power supply monitoring
I'm looking to monitor our Juniper switch power supplys and i'm having trouble getting it to work. These are the steps i've taken so far: (1) Mibs copied correctly and mib for p/s identified (2) Went to Admin --> SNMP Trap Processors --> Load From Mibs (3) Created notification rule for to alert on condition when power supply fails When testing, we're not receiving alerts that a power supply has lost power/failed. Any ideas? I know traps are being rec'd b/c we receive other alerts from the switches.
How do I delete a software asset tied to a purchase?
We are trying to clear out all of our assets from ServiceDesk and successfully cleared out all but five software assets. When I try to delete them I receive an error saying they are referred to by another workstation, but there are no workstations listed in assets. It turns out that these software assets are tied to purchase orders in the ServiceDesk inventory. How can I delete these software assets without deleting the purchases that they are tied to?

Hi, Yesterday we created a new software deployment packet. After, we tried to deploy this software but we had a problem: The packet in question is the program LaboDis. As soon as it is deployed, when we execute this program in PC, it has to find a msi packet in this path (C:\Program Files\DesktopCentral_Agent\swrepository\1\swuploads) and we have seen that it's removed, so the program cannot execute. It seems that the deployment is well done but then it erase the packet wich is necesary to execute

VMHost Status Critical without Alarms on Host or Child VMs
Hi All, We have a strange issue where the status on a VMHost is not clearing. There was an alarm triggered which set the status to Critical relating to the HTTPS Web connection failing (I do not have the exact message). The alarm has cleared however but the status remains as critical. I have checked the child VMs and there are no other alarms (someone suggested on this forum that a child VM could potentially cascade the Critical status to the host?). Deletion of Request/Incident tickets
If I delete a request/incident ticket, is that a permanent deletion or a logical deletion? By logical, I mean is it marked in the database as deleted but the data is still there in the database?

Can AdAudit plus be used to audit local server accounts and users the same way it audits Domain Accounts? Or is there another product for local server audit?
What table has the software licenses...
that are seen on the Assets Tab, select a group, click on a computer listed in the details page, then click on the software tab. In this details page I have gotten custom SQL from SD+ that uses the SoftwareLicenses table. This table does not hold the licenses in this report. Wrong credentials used with SNMPv3
Using OpManager 8.0 build 8812. The credential library seems to use the wrong set of credentials when multiple SNMPv3 credentials have the same username. For example, I can create a SNMPv3 account with username user1, authentication of pass1, and a second account with username user1, authentication of pass2, then assign these two accounts to two different devices. Communication with the first device is successful, the second device fails as OpManage wrongly uses credentials from the first account

APPLNERR: Login Failure: for the agent
I try to integrate our Linux server via cli. The logfile says --> APPLNERR: Login Failure: for the agent but the credentials are correct. same error via ssh or telnet. Various tests are ok with putty from the OPS server. what can I do?
SNMP Monitor "test" fails
Hi, I am getting an error when I try to test a monitor that I created using a specific SNMP OID. The error message I get says "The Monitor did not respond to the test request". I can successfully query the SNMP agent on the device from the command line (snmpget) or through the MIB browser. Any ideas? (Screenshot attached) Steve
Clear alarms after service is up again!
When a service goes down, a alarm triggers just as i want to, but when the service is restarted and up again, the alarm that activates when the service goes down is still active! are there any rules on how i can fix this, when the service is restarted again i dont want the first alarm being active! Desktop Central Power Management Deploying But Not Working on local PC
Hello Forum, I seem to be having quite a hard time with the Power Management option in Desktop Central. I'm able to make a new configuration and load the correct settings that I wish to deploy to all our workstations but once the profile is deployed to the workstation it doesn’t work. I'm able to see the power profile under Windows 7 fine and edit the settings etc...... But it will not work. Am I doing something wrong here is there some Administrator setting I’m missing??? Any help on this

Real Time ticket queue
I want to be able to let me users see the entire helpdesk queue - so that they can see their position in the queue. That is their biggest lament. They make the heldpesk request, but then they have no idea when things will happen. So I want to be able to post the realtime queue to one of our internal web servers so they can do a quick check of where they are. Users with Hyphenated last names
Is there a way to create a customized logon name for a user with a hyphenated lat name? For instance, I want to use a First Initial and the Last Name unless the last name is hyphenated. In cases where the last name is hyphenated, i want to use First Initial and the 2nd half of the last name. (i.e. Joe Smith-West would have a login name of jwest) Is this possible yet? If not, i would love to have that kind of customization available. Thanks, Jay
Remove technicians from auto assignment queue based on request creation date
Currently the auto assign appears to be working on the basis that if a technician is marked as off at the same time as the due date then it will not be assigned to them. This has been causing us issue in that our standard SLA is 2 days although most requests generally don't take that long to deal with, but it means that the technicians stop recieving them 2 days before they are due to be off. Also it means they get tickets assigned to them that are due to expire an hour or 2 after thay get back,

Cannot See Change Implementation or Problem Task Details
For the last few days I've been experiencing issues when trying to browse to the 'Implementation' tab of changes or to the 'Tasks' tab of problems. Basically, I get a blank page where the details should be whilst the outer frames are intact. This is not specific to one PC and it doesn't even matter who is logged into the PC, as soon as I login to SD+ I see the same issue. If somebody else then logs into SD+ with their credentials, from the same PC/logged in user all is ok. Therefore, my conclusion

Can't start OpManager, License Dialog box appears
Hi After a server crash I am now unable to start the OPmanager server. WHen I start it it launches a licensee Details dialog box and wants a license file. When I point it to our current license file (which was working fine...) it says the file is invalid and I get and error code 501. I have tried to fix this by installing the latest service pack and hotfix but to no avail. Any idea? Thanks Dave
OpManager Service Frequently Stops Responding
Hi, We have had issues with a customer's standalone version of OpManager for over a year now, we hoped that by upgrading it to the latest version 8812 these problems would be resolved, but they still persist, the customer is aware of these problems and is not impressed by the reliability and stability of OpManager. The OpManager service frequently stops and therefore prevents device statistics from being gathered. Looking at the wrapper file, the following lines stand out as being part of the problem:-

How can I set negative threshold values when monitoring SNMP devices?
I have a need to monitor some microwave devices via SNMP. Some values (RSL, dB, etc) return negative values. When I set up my thresholds in OpManger, I receive an error that my threshold values must be positive. How can I monitor these devices?
incident activites.
we have an issue arise when one incidents being handled by multi technician during their shifts. currently we are using notes or work log. but work log allow the logged on technician to select the technician whom has entered that work log. which isn't right for us. we need it to be in-editable field with the name of the logged users. we need it to be more like activities log other than work log. as we don't work cost the same way that exist on the program now.
