Netflow Analyzer 9.5 unable to use ipfix with extenstions of sonicwall
hi iam trying to use the netflow analyzer for flows exported from sonicwall when iam using ipfix with extensions the flows are not detected by netflow only when i use netflow version 5 the flows are detected and some stats are being show.. how to use netfix with extensions. Thanks & Regards Satish

Eventlogs from NetApp storage (security logs)
Hi, we nave some NetApp storage that will report about security event (login,logout,cigs audit) as windows events. From a server with computer management is possible to connect to those filers to manage them as windows servers but they are not real windows server so some management function are missing but envelog viewing work correctly. I am trying to learn (quickly) the basics about managing EventLog Analyzer. Where can I find some good reference/training materials? I'm a total newbie and right now, I can't even figure out how to stop the software from finding and monitoring network devices on its own. Purchase Order - Print Preview, Send page by eMail
As the PO that is produced for eMail purposes does not hold enough information ( can this be tailored) I have tried using the Print Preview, then Send Page by eMail. We are currently evaluating ADManager Plus for user creation. We have several extended user attributes in AD that we have added to ADManager Plus. These are text (CHAR) fields and binary (true/false). We have added the attributes as Custom Attributes in ADManager and they show up on the Modify User screen. No action on SNMP trap lisner
I have created an SNMP trap lisner in Appl Manager. (The OID i'm lisning for is .1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.159.201.1.3.1 - an IBM Director test trap). I have also created an action: sending an mail to myself. When i test this action i get an e-mail, so it works ! In the SNMP trap lisner have i associated the mail action. But when i send the SNMP trap from my IBM Director, the (email)action NOT executed. I know i receive the trap correctly, because i can see the trap in the alarm page as an "Configured trap".

We have not turned on the smtp engine for our external clients (we do not intend to due to workflow) and would like an confirmation that a password has been successfully modified. The end users are getting confused as they do not know if they have successfully modified their password via the gui.
Resource Name already Exists error
I am evaluating Password Manager Pro for a password repository for each of our various clients. The main problem I am running into is that I cannot create resource with the same name. When you have enough clients you would be surprised how many servers that are named "server" you run into. When I create a password group for each client and try to add a device with the same name as a different client I get the following error. Resource Name already exists. Have I missed something?

AD sync - Need to import / sync. groups in AD, not only OU.
Hi, We have a simple demand, but it seems that PMP lack support for importing groups. I.e.: We have several groups (not OU) in the AD that we would like to sync into PMP. Today when we sync all USERS get imported and all OU will be converted into a group in PMP. Is it possible to get PMP to create a group for each AD group? We are using native AD sync, not LDAP. Couple of feature suggestions
It would be very helpful to have the ability the store custom templates in folders. Currently all of the templates are stored in one location, making it difficult to easily find a template when needed. We use many templates and having the ability to group them in folders would be VERY usfeul. Also, it would be helpful to have the ability to schedule the upload of drafts, of at the very least be able to perform a mass upload.
Failure occured due to the partial or no configuration retrieval during the scheduled backup execution
Not sure what exactly went wrong here was backing up an ASA5510 and all was well, until one scheduled backup returned the following error message, " Failure occured due to the partial or no configuration retrieval during the scheduled backup execution ". Now backup of this ASA fail each week. My credentials and properties of the device haven't changed and all appears to be fine. I am running DE 5.5.2. build 5520, any direction would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

generalize the concept of a device template
Today, the OpManager's concept of device template is very limiting. It doesn't include service monitors, url monitors, process monitors, and script monitors. under linux, enabling https(ssl) and using port 443 is broken
Hi, I initially installed OpManager on a linux box using normal http (port 80). Afterwards, I decided to enable ssl. Following the instruction I did the following: ssl_gen.sh -f Enable At this point, I expected the url https://opmanager.xyz.com/ to immediately work. Notice this is over 443. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I then point the browser to https://opmanager.xyz.com:80/ and that worked. Notice I am using port 80 for https traffic. So, I manually run the following and restart the server
