Eventlog Analyzer not collecting data from Cisco ACS 4.2 server
Hello, I'm trying to send my Cisco-ACS log messages to Eventlog Analyzer. I configured ACS and the server popped up in the host table in Eventlog Analyzer. However, it keeps showing that there are no logs even though that is not the case. Just to test, I had ACS send the logs to another Syslog server and the logs started coming across right away. I've verified the IP address and port number in ACS. Eventlog Analyzer and ACS can ping each other. What am I missing here? I even tried to view the

I would like to have the checklist-feature. For example: To create a new user account there are about 20 very short and simple steps to do. I want a simple checkbox field, where I can mark the steps I have done. To use tasks is too complicated and takes too long time for technician to handle. Local authentication
Hi, Is it possible for the users that have a AD-Login that they have their local login disabled ? first we just changed the local password to something random but it looks like the password are changing back to default. so people can just login as a differant user with more rights. We dont want to remove local authentication because we do have a few users that login local. Thanks in advance Peter

Hello, Recently upgraded to 9010, the issue of blank dials continues to happen. Still unable to change a device from Virtual Device to Server. WMI connection works fine to test CPU utilization. History Reports pane shows all "NO DATA COLLECTED". Thanks.
Assign to Group in main Requests view
Hi, in the main Requests view you can select single techinican to assign to froma drop down list. That is handy if you wish to assign multiple tickets at once to somebody. Problem is that you cannot do the same to assign to group. Since our company is organized in teams you just find a very long of anonymous Techcians (since not all people for a team know all the people in other team) while it would be far better to just see Team names there. Have you got any proposal to workaround that? Thank you
Remove password reset link from login screen
Is there a way to remove the password reset link on the login screen? Our users are using their Active Directory username and password to log in. We don't want them changing their password for the application.

How to use Wavecom M1306B Modem?
Hi support, I've bought a Wavecom M1306B Modem and installed it as a standard 56000 bps Modem on a Windows 2003 Server where Opmanager is installed. With Hyperterminal i can use AT commands to dial out and this is working fine. The modem is installed on COM1. If I go to the SMS server settings in Opmanager and enter the Port Number to COM1 I get a message stating Modem is not connected properly. Check your settings. What am I missing here? Please help. The user administrator can't see the requests
We upgraded the support center to the build 7908, one of our users has the trouble that the section of requests appears in blank, any other secction of the portal don't have issues. Any suggestion about this topic is welcome.

How to see user traffic details?
Hello, we testing NFA 9 and we don't understand some traffic details. I need some comments, pls. NFA working good, capture netflow traffic, i see top source and destination ip's, but when i try to "search" by ip, i don't get same result, see screenshot for details. Here is Destination traffic for 89.184.27.98 is 2.59GB But here is only 1,3 Gb. Why this data is different?

Custom HDD Usage Dial Calculation
I have an active node cluster server, thus I would like to exclude the other SAN disks as it the dial will give wrong value when some disks removed/added (as the total disk space stored in "asset details") This server is running on Windows Server 2003. Not getting notified about prohibited software
We have it setup to notify us about prohibited software but aren't getting an email during a scan for affected systems. Does this only notify if the scan is scheduled or should it notify for on demand scans? I removed a system that has known prohibited software and ran a manual scan and still didn't get notified. It does show the affected workstation under scanned software/prohibited.
business rules is not working for Service Catalog
I have a business rule: Execute when a request is "Edit" Turn on cascade execution Override request values with Business Rule values criteria: Request Type is "test type" action: Change Status to "test status" If i create a request from button "New incident" and then change type of request business rule is working, but if i create request from Service Catalog, busines rules dont work. If I wanted to do a query on opmanager. This is what I want to look for. Listed below. device name with certain days and times and I want to look at utilization in and out of a perticular interface. Does anyone know what tables I would need to accomplish this if possible. for example. trying to do custom report for april 2 2012 to may1 times 7:00am to 18:00pm but I need this perticular time due to this is our production hours. Error # The RPC server is unavailable when adding performance monitor
Hi, We get the message Error # The RPC server is unavailable when we try to add a performance monitor on 1 server. It was working before since we have other performance monitors. When we test the credentials it gives the same error. The DCOM and RPC are working on the server, I was able to connect with wbemtest and do some queries. It is not the firts time it has done this on 2 separate installations of OpManager and the only way we found to correct this is to delete the device and add it again.
Planned maintenance window
I have tried to find such feature in the product but there seems to be nothing available. We may need to restart monitored servers at certain planned times and would not like to have all the alarm bells ringing at the same time. Is there something similar in the product that I have missed or is this feature planned for the future?

Can't Bind to port 513,514 frequently comes up and the only application occupying these ports on the ELA is the ELA. But there a few ELA process opened automatically not just one. I also see the below entry in the server log's able 'eventlog.comp_eventlog_hr_trend' doesn't exist Has any one come across this error and if so have you been able to fix it?

I want to implement sending requests to Service Desk using custom program or email but I have no luck 1. 1. I have tried to send custom POST message – it works but it demands to fill username and password. I don’t want to ask user for u/p and then send this every time over network. SDP 8.1 styling problems
Since upgrading to ServiceDesk 8.1 I have had some issues with the styling of the pages. I initially resolved this using Ctrl+F5 to clear the cache but now it has happened again - the buttons for each module are not showing There are also HTML tags appearing in service catalogue template descriptions, as shown in the screenshot below.

How to create multiple requests at once?
How to support complex requests like new hire, that could be handled by several support groups at once. Using tasks inside tickets is not a nice way because splits specialists work queue into two (and tasks have no separate tab). At first sight there should be a multiple (linked) copies of initial request (in parallel), assigned to different support groups. Please give me idea how to create this copies - by mail server?.
Scan problems
Hello. I'v setted up a trial version of ServiceDesk Plus 7.5.0 Build 7512, Enterprise. Then I'v started network scan, using IPs range 192.168.16.4-192.168.16.253. After the scan ends, it says: "Successfull scan: 107". But when I'm opening "Assets" from the main menu, I see only 22 detected workstations and 17 scanned workstations. Is it normal? If no, how I can fix it?
