Time Spent Reports not working in 8.1
Hi, I upgraded to 8.1 on Friday. When I run a time spent report there are no values in that column. Attached is a screenshot to demonstrate. There appears to be one request which has a value but other than that all the times are wiped. Please Advise
Unable to save Business View editings
Hi all. We are running ManageEngine AppManager build 10800 and we are experiencing an issue with Business Views. Both on existing views and new views, we are unable to save editings. After each change, we are able to click on "Save Configuration", and, on top bar, regulary appears "Succesfully Saved Configuration", but when we click on "Refresh View" we lose all editings and the view returns to previous configuration. Company logo not displaying at logon screen
Within the admin portal, I added our company logo at the rebranding area. It shows up in the top left corner when I'm logged in as the admin, after a user logs in, or within the reset/unlock sections, but it does not show at the initial logon page for users. Am I missing an option somewhere?
Custom Reports edit option disabled.
This is probably something obvious, but after I make a custom report I am unable to click the "edit" icon and on hover it says: "Option Disabled". I've search for "option disabled" on forums, etc. and can't seem to find why this may not be enabled, unless it just isn't possible for a one time report? Thanks for any suggestions.
backup problem
hi i had a application manager 9 and upgraded it to 10, i wanted to upgrade my os (from redhat 5 to linux mint(maya)) so i take a backup from application manager AMDB and install a new application manager 9, after this i restore AMDB backup in application manager 9, but i see that i can't monitor any ping monitor and it not show me any cpu usage, memory and …., so i upgrade application manager 9 (with service packs) to 10 and now my problem with ping is solved but it not show me any cpu usage, memory

extremely log URL
Hi, I am trying to monitor a URL that is 729 characters log. This fails, resulting in "Unable to create a url Monitor". Does anyone know if there are limitations on the max. lenght of the URL? This is the only explanation i can think of. If so, is there an alternative? Kind Regards, Eric Bolderink

Using SET to insert a DateAndTime value into a mib
Hi, I am trying to update a leaf node which takes a value of type DateAndTime. I have tried several format but I keep getting: Request Failed: Get Response PDU received from 10.0.10.7 Error Indication in response: The value given has wrong type or length. Errindex: 1 2012-12-05,17:59:03.0 2012-12-05,17:59:03 '2012-12-05,17:59:03.0 ' ' 2012-12-05,17:59:03' and various other formats. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a limitation on the SET functionality in the Mib browser?

Compliance check and MOTD with *
I am running into an issue running a compliance check on Cisco switches. I am looking for the correct MOTD banner configured on them. The problem I am having is with the rule itself and the text in our MOTD. We begin each line of ouf MOTD with an *. When I put this in the rule it throws an error saying the * is considered a special character and I need to use \* in order to search for it. When I do that it fails the audit. Any suggestions?

AD login unstable
Hi, I just upgrade to OpManager build 9400 and add our AD server in it for login. However, I discover we always failed to login with AD account specially when I press "Enter" after enter user id , password and select to login with our AD. Most likely 10 times will failed with 7 times etc. If I select login to AD with mouse select and click login with mouse instead with "enter", fewer problem occurs like 10 times will failed with 1-2 times. I think may be this is cause by the login page script when

I m trying to migrate my Opmanager to a new machine as the old one is going to retire soon. when I try to install version 9101, i keep getting the invalid license error message. my current version on the old machine is 9101. how do I export the license to the new machine ?
Problem whit the mail
I have a problem whit the mail fetching in Service Desk. For a particular user the system have an error: "Mail Fetching process of ServiceDesk Plus was stopped. Please delete the mail from mail server and restart mail fetching process." Incompatible database version?
Hi there, I tried to upgrade my 8116 ver. to to 8121 but suddenly failed. Now i prepared one new server to restore my database while i'm checking on the current server. Once i tried to restore the database from backup, nothing happen and now both my server failed to operate. somebody please help me. is it possible because the new version 8121 not support not very old database version (build no: 8.16).... many thanks in advance

Filtering Server Interfaces
Is there a way to automatically filter out interfaces that don't have a macaddress associated with them? It's really tedious when adding a server because you have to go each device to remove the unwanted interfaces and if you happen to do a rediscover, they come back! Can i edit a configuration file or something to do this?

Is there any way to AdManager using a template to create a computer account based on a sequence? I have the following rule in our spamfilter: Drop e-mail when: Subject does not contain "[GDF ServiceDesk]" or "[MRM]" This suggest that e-mail with either [GDF ServiceDesk] of [MRM] in the subject will be used to create new requests and other mails will be dropped.

after an upgrade from ADManagerPlus 5.2.0 (Build 5231) to 6.0 (Build 6000), it is no more possible to enable/disable Active-Sync Service per mailbox which was formerly possible using the AD Manager Plus Setting called "User Initiated Synchronization" in the Exchange section. Hello support, I created a powershell script monitor. It's working fine. But I would like to have a custom alert message. I enabled all thresholds (attention/trouble/critical/rearm). My script has got the following strings: Write-Host "Message: Licenses in use: $list" But I don't see my message in the OpManager's alarm. How to use custom 'Message' for that ? Can you please provide any examples ? Help is not clear on that: Output Format: Message:This message will be used as alarm message.

Hi, We are have IT assets at each of our sites and log jobs against the assets. Eg a router at the site. We would like it so the site of the asset be populated into the site for the request as it is important to be able to report against these devices and we have a lot that are being missed or wrongly applied because it uses the requester's site not the Assets site.

SMS Notifications - Set to use only out of hours and only certain customers or SLA types?
Hi SC I think it would be a good idea if you could set SMS to only operate on the following conditions If an Account has been marked as Notify by SMS If it is out of normal Working hours accounts marked as above would be notified additionally by SMS. If a particular Account has a 24 hour contract that could be defined in the SLA and outside working hours I don't want notifications to go SMS all the time, there may be a way of limiting this but I can't see one, Cheers Rich
