Hi, how do I get this to run as a service under Redhat? I've created a symboliclink to na_server under /etc/init.d but when I use chkconfig --add, it fails 'the service does not support chkconfig' Thanks
Password Explorer Default
Is there a way to change the default link in Password Explorer to something other than "My Favourite Passwords"? It would be great if this was a setting that could be changed. I'd like it to default to "All My Passwords" when at the Home screen.
Hyperlinks in Opmanager e-mail notification messages
Good day We are use licenced OpManager 9.2. In e-mail notification message hyperlinks for fields "Message" and "Device Name" look like "http://localhost.localdomain:80/fault/AlarmActions.do?methodCall=alarmProperties&entity=...etc" and "http://localhost.localdomain:80/devices/objectdetails.do?requestid=SNAPSHOT&name=...etc" Can we change these hyperlinks to "http://192.168.1.***:80/fault/AlarmActions.do?methodCall=alarmProperties&entity=...etc" and "http://192.168.1.***:80/devices/objectdetails.do?requestid=SNAPSHOT&name=...etc"?

hi 1- we use app manager to monitor 30 win server that all are remote in separate networks. in "Availability & Health Status - Multiple Monitors" widget we see some Critical alert that interface is down. Like this: "Interface broadcom BCM5709C netxterm II GigE(NDIS VBD client) #2-Qos packet scheduler 0000 is removed" while non of servers manipulated. 2- we use SNMP mode monitoring for this servers. but when we see "Interfaces" tab in each monitor page it show about 20 interface!
requests of all groups
why technicians see all requests of all groups I put technician1 in Group A requester assigned request to category 'Network' which is translated in business rules to group "network engineers" but i found that all technicians can see all requests of users could i find a way to make sure that any technician can see only requests assigened to his groups? regards

Is there any way to notify all requestors in a site of all request creation, updates, and resolutions? I know about the CC lists you can notify on creation and resolution, but I dont see anything about updates. Basically what I need is anytime a request is created, updated, or resolved all the requesters in that account gets the emails.
Alert when there is no SNMP trap
We have an environment monitoring device that we have added into OpManager. (IMS4000 by Sensaphone) We run a generator test each week and when it runs it generates an SNMP trap. I want to be notified when the generator did not run. Can I set up a workflow to notify me when an SNMP trap is not generated? I can set up an email to notify me when a trap occurs, but the issue is that when the generator does not run it doesnt send a trap. Therefore I need to specify that there should be a trap during
URL monitor fails on "accept cookies" request
Hi all, I am having troubles creating URL monitors on URL's that stat with some sort of pop-up bar, notifiing that this site uses cookies, and asking me if this is alright. After clicking on the accept button, the bar dissapears, and i can continue. My url monitor is on defaults, meening error if response > 200 I have also tried to build a ulr sequense for this, also negatief. I want send email to all member of a group when a request place to that group. Now, the SDP can not do that because SDP send only for NEW request (Alert group members by e-mail when a NEW request is added to the group.). I need tips or tricks to do that. Many thanks.

I've a question about managing and integrating different ME products via a LDAP system. lets say if we purchase OpManager, ServiceDesk, OpStore, Application Manager, could we possibly integrate them with a LDAP system (specially for security options), so that the authentication of those products will be handled by single point of a directory access system (like OpenLDAP). OpManager snmp polling , default port
Dears, I've configured the OpManager to monitor some devices (2 desktops + 1 printer). OpManager just working fine, and performance data such as cpu usage, memory usage, etc are gathering fine. I just need to know which port(tcp/udp) is used by OpManager for polling data from devices. because currently i see only udp port 162 is occupied by OpManager which i think it is related to snmp trap and not polling .. Is it kinda random port or is it same as web-port ?

A question about xml in URL monitor in Applications Manager
Hello, I would like to use the POST method in a URL monitor and submit an xml request. A form that the monitored server understands is like this: xml=<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1251"?><product>ProdCode</product> However when I add such string as a Request parameter , monitoring does not work as expected. I used Network sniffer which shows that App Manager seems to delete content between first and last "equal" signs, so that the monitored server receives the string xml="windows-1251"?><product>ProdCode</product>

Windows Service alarm dont clear by themselves.
Hi, I have an issue where a windows service alarm would come on (the purple ones), but either it is a false alarm or it clears back up, but in OPManager it will still show the alarm. Even when you go on the specific device in OPmanager you see the alarm ie. "Windows NT Service Automatic Updates is Down" but the service is started. The alarms don't clear out by themselves when the issue is fixed, or when OPmanager notices that the issue is no longer there. Regards, Michael. See attached.

i am trying to shutdown the Service so I can perform an upgrade. However when I try to shutdown the service nothing happens. I copied the contents of the shortcut into a command prompt and I get the following Error: Java Virtual Machine Launcher Could not find the main class. Program will exit.
Report on assets relationships
I'd like to realize a report showing the relationships between assets/resources. let's say for instance I want to see all the objects (software, hardware, components, etc) linked to a given asset (i.e. a specific software or server). is there anyone who has already tried to get this?

I upgraded to 8122 this morning from 8120. Under Admin > General I do not have a Theme section.
Desktop Central single sign on
Is there an effort to integrate Single Sign-On into Desktop Central? I purchased licenses for my team to use this tool for desktop management. Having to log in manually to a tool that is used regularly is inefficient, especially when other ManageEngine products have this capability. we are running service desk 8.1.0 Build 8116. We have a number of techs when they create a work log for a ticket see that entry appear 4-5 times even though they only put it in once. This issue seems to be intermittent but happens with several different techs.

Build 80123 triggers Patch deployment, without one being scheduled
I just updated Desktop Central to Build 80123 within our organization. Upon doing so, multiple computers began being patched by Desktop Central, despite no configuration or automated process being scheduled. How / why did this happen? This has never been the case with past updates, and I am worried it's going to force our entire organization to reboot in the middle of the work day.

Hi, I've been testing Servidesk Plus 8.1 and I would like to know if it possible to set email notifications to send emails when worklog are added? We are using in this way: Request -> Worklog1 -> Worklog2 -> WorklogN -> Resolution -> Close Request But technicians won't get an notificacion email for the worklogs. Is it possible?
