I try to add a device but it does not succeed me (I have created a network). Maby i must to incite the snmp. But to see the cpu utilization, memory utilization and disk utilization of the device i don't want to incite the snmp. Can it be? my excuses that my grammar is not well...... Thanks EmTi

Hello, I'm evaluating opmanager for monitoring some websites. A very important website is our demo site http://demo.selview.nl. Opmanager comes with the site is not available. It uses cookies. I have tried several entries like http://demo.selview.nl/web/login/default.aspx with or withour logon entries, but all with the same result: unavailable. How does one setup a monitor to check disk space on a server. That is setup a threshold to notify us if free space falls below 2GB.
New Windows Service Monitor
Hello, I am having problems adding any Windows Service Monitors to one of my servers. It's a Windows 2003 server. I know I am using the right username (domain\username) and password because if I add the user to the administrators group on this server, it works fine. However if I remove the user from the administrators group, it ceases to work. When we look at the graphs for the application monitor MSSQL Data Space of DB, the titles are all ".x KBytes". We believe this needs to be the name of the database. How can we fix this?
Assigning a graph profile
I'm trying to setup graphs for a server that does not have snmp enabled. In the manual (page 174), it states to 'Refer to assigning a graph profile to a Non-SNMP device for details' I can't find this section. I have WMI resource monitors setup and they are getting responses. Anyone know how to modify the graph profiles? Thanks Chuck

Create business views on Linux installed in console mode
Hello. I am just now testing the OpManager product installed on Debian in console mode. Is there some way to run the admin tool remotely since I do not have a GUI environment on my server? It would be nice if that functionality was available in the web client interface.

Windows 2000 Servers Not Monitored Correctly
Support, I have been using OpManager for a while now, and i am very impressed with how well it monitors windows 2003. However its ability to monitor windows 2000 seems to be somewhat hampered. I am unable to correctly monitor any Windows 2000 servers. I continually get authentication errors even when i know 110% that the usernames and passwords are correct and so are the SNMP community strings. Business Views do not appear under second user account?

Switch Link Speed In OpManager
HI, we are using Nortel Switches.Baystack 450 Switches. after adding the switch with IP address it shows Link Speed 2,000 Mbps on Fiber Port. It shows ethernet port speed 200Mbps instead 100Mbps. But if I telnet the switch & check this , it shows Speed of Fiber port 1000 Mbps & ethernet port speed 100 Mbps. So what do i need to do to rectify this problem. SD+/Netflor integration
I can't get the integration piece of OpManager to work with SD+ or Netflow Analyzer. I've tried it with the fqdn, ip address, netbios name, multiple different logins, etc. SD+ has AD auth. turned on. Netflow is just using the admin account. Please let me know what to check on to get this working. Thanks, Neil

OPmanager won't shutdown
I tried to shutdown OPmanager running ./ShutDownOpManager.sh from /opt/Adventnet/ME/opmanager/bin and nothing was shut down. I stopped mySQL and restarted it with ./mysqladmin shutdown from opmanager/mysql/bin and restarted it with bin/startMySQL.sh and now can't log in to the web interface. It asks for username/password then reloads the login page. Any ideas? Thanks, Kyle Echols
Monitor free space, % utilisation of disk drives only
Hello, I would like to monitor free disk space and/or % utilization of all my server's disk drives. I have many servers (> 100) to configure, so I used the "Quick Configuration wizard" to add the monitor -> "Resource Monitors" -> "SNMP based Resource Monitors" -> "Partition Details of the Device (%)". The problem is that this monitor also report "Virtual Memory", "Physical Memory", CD-Roms letters utilization. Is there a way to monitor only disk drives (custom monitor, ...) Thank you

Apache ProxyPass
Hi there. I would like to know if is it possible to do something like this : - i have the opmanager running in port , let's say , 9090 - i have a web server (apache) running in the same host , listening in port 80 - i would like to have a url like http://server:80/opmanager , instead of having http://server:9090 I believe that this could be accomplished using proxypass in the Apache, but so far i could't have working. Has any one come across the Java process in Opmanager consuming all available CPU resources. This has brought my server to an absolute standstill making the product very cumbersome to use.
mib definition not updated
Hi, I have a mib file located at ~\OpManager\mibs directory, and previously it has 3 traps . Recently, I defined more traps, but it seems opManager is not able to refresh it. In trap processor, whenever I tried "load trap from MIB", it always shows the old traps. I have also tried start/stop opManager, but still doesn't work. Is there a way that I can let opManager to refresh its cache and reload the new MIB? Thanks! - Jiang -

opmanager not acepting IP for discovery
just installed opmanager and it's asking for the networks to discover.... I put in our primary network, 192.168.1.1 with subnet 255.255.255.0 and it don't accept it... secondary network 192.168.2.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 - does not accept.... tertiary network 192.168.3.1 (managed switches, stops people trying to mess if they can't see them ;) ) subnet 255.255.255.0 doesn't accept their ether.... Any ideas?
Opmanager speed
Hi, I've been running opmanager for just over a week now and its pretty much fully populated and i'm now experiencing serious performance problems. The system its running on is a 512mb Xeon 3GHZ with a small 80GB mirrored array and whenever you do requests its running at 100% CPU for quite a long time and now certain reports are timing out and are no longer available. The port reports for switches ( top error lists etc) now sit processing at 100% for a bout 2-3 minutes before IE gives up. Listing
DMS automatic startup for debian
Hi, I have just recently install the ManageEngine_OpManager_MSP.bin for linux onto a Debian system. After playing around trying to get it started (apache kept breaking) I have it working and working fine. The only problem now is that I would like to start it from the rc2.d. In the forums we have a couple of examples of using the opmanager.txt file, but this dates to 2005 so is not relevant for dms. How do I get startdms.sh to fork to the background? Geordy
