Erroneous Link Performance Counters
We are having some issue with the way utilization levels and error rates are calculated/reported. We frequently get alerts for high utilization on 1 Mb links between facilities, but when I check, the actual level is much lower. The attached PDF shows OpManager reporting utilization over 1 Gb in one direction and over 8 Gb in the other even though the interface is only capable of 1 Gb. Have you seen problems like this and is there a way to correct? Thanks.

Bandwidth monitor doesn't display utilization correctly
Hi, In trying your product, I found that the utilization percentage is not being displayed correctly due to the fact that although the interface is a gigabit interface, it's only a true T1 connection. Is there an option where we can change the value of the interface or any other alternatives? Thanks for your help, Ken
Severe Unpacking Failed
Hi I have installed OPManager on a laptop, it was working find but slow. I tryed to install it on a Dell PE1750 and got "Severe Unpacking Failed" I tryed downloading the program again but sill the same error.
Hotfix Released- Build 7023
Dear Users, We are glad to announce the Hotfix for version 7 (i.e 7023). This can be applied on OpManager with Build 7010 or higher. We request all users to upgrade to 7 and then apply the HotFix. The fixes that went for this release are, 1. Removed the physical, virtual memory, A drive details in the Disk Partition monitors. 2. Threshold Consecutive Times is not getting applied during device discovery for all the monitors. 3. Configured Threshold Values not getting applied for newly discovered device.
Ability to edit accounts in full
Currently once you have created an account you can no longer edit its access rights. Is this right, or am I missing something? Is this going to be improved, as right now a total reissuing of accounts is a little clunky.
Monitoring Unix Servers
Is there a way to monitor specific Unix applications/services in OpManager. I have it monitoring some Unix boxes succesfully but need to monitor some services as well.

Process for Removing a Probe
I am trying to remove an OP-Manager probe from a system. I ran the uninstall from the remove programs. However, the Advent Net Directory and several files remain and when I try to remove them manually, Windows tells me that the files are being used by another program. Business Snapshot With Short Cuts
I have 2 business snapshots and each has a shortcut to the other on the map. The one snapshot was down causing both snapshots to show as down because the shortcut on the snapshot that was up had its shortcut showing down. That makes all the sense in the world. The snapshot that was down came back up, everything on the map is green but the shortcuts on the 2 maps still show as down. When if ever does this refresh?
Memory Utilization
Hello i don't understand how to indicate the Memory Utilization. For example we have different Servers with a high Memory Utilization displayed in OpManager. But when we analyse the Server with the standard Performance Tool from Microsoft, then we don't get the same picture. What's the difference?

Binding OpManager port to IP address for SNMP traps
Hi, We have installed OpManager Pro, build 7023 on a server. The server is also running Dell OpenManage IT Assistant. Both OpManager and IT Assistant listen to port 162 for SNMP traps, so when starting OpenManager from command line StartOpManagerServer.bat it produces an error about SNMP traps port. It is possible to change the bind OpManager to a different IP address for SNMP traps, so both could listen to SNMP traps, but on different IP addresses. Regards. John.
Alert System Up (critical ???)
Many of our systems send an Alert System up trap every so often, or on server reboot. That is no problem, BUT it comes up as a critical error. Is there any way of changing this so it doesn't look like an error that needs attention. I am happy that it is up, not sad.
OPManager Interface Graphs Pictures not displayed sometimes
We use OPManager 7023 with a few cisco firewalls. But we can only see the Interface traffic Image sometimes. In most cases the image is missing and a red cross is displayed (see attachment). We deleted and readded the firewalls several times but it is always the same. Sometimes you can see the traffic interafce graph and a few hours later it doesn't work. Thanks in advance.

Cant monitor a Fedora machine
Dear all, I installed Opmanager in a Windows 2000 machine and try to monitor another machine. However, it cannot get those utilitization information for it (But it can get those utilities information from Windows machine). Actually, it show the snmp star in that machine. I did install snmpd in that linux machine. It's running and open the port for it by the firewall (tried to turn off the firewall either). Anyone can help me?

Utilization graphs no longer showing data
I am currently running OpManager 7.0, build 7021. OpManager has stopped showing any data under the Servers tab for Top-N CPU utilization, Top-N Memory Utilization, and Top-N Disk utilization.

Hi all, I have a setup running with OpManager 7010 and some devices. Now a question rises up: Scenario given: Internet cloud - Router - Server behind Router The Server is configured to send an alarm, if poll is missed 3 times. Also the dependency lies on the Router.
