Cannot change IP address of any Cisco PIXs

I am having the worst trouble changing the IP address of a Cisco PIX device I manage. We were having this trouble with the 6010 build so I upgraded us to 7023 and it still does not take.

The issue is the Cisco PIX firewalls we manage. The PIXs have an IP address on their outside interface that we monitor. Occasionally that IP address will change so I have to go into OpManager to make the change. When I edit the IP address, the change will appear to have taken place and all looks well until the device is scheduled to be polled again. At that point it will inevitably go back to the old IP address and show as being down again. I used to fight this by changing the IP address, rediscovering the device, changing the IP address a 2nd time, and then updating the status, which usually worked. Now I can't even get that far.

In addition to this, every once in a while I will notice OpManager will show a device as being down when it clearly is not, only to notice it changed the IP address of the device to something that device had months ago. It is driving me mad! :)
