I need to re-load OpManager on a new machine, but have done a fair amount of modifications on the alerts and profiles. Are there files that I can copy to the new install to maintain all that work?

manage engine oputils can't detect snmp service
hi right now i'm using the trail version of this software. i've installed it in a computer in a domain. i installed the snmp services on the other computers in this domain. but the problem is that the software can't see any snmp service running on any machine on the domain except my computer. are there any solution to this.

Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to make custom monitors using SNMP OID plus operators. For example, the SNMP response for a get OID variable (CPU utilization for Enterasys Switch Matrix N7) is a integer number that must be divide by 10. It is possible to perform this operation? Feature Suggest - Remove "1st time user login" hel
Once user credentials have been added to opmanager, I would prefer that the "For First time users" help field be removed from the default opmanager login page. For instance in our environment, I think I have at least a dozen users created in opmanager, with varying levels of access. It adds to their confusion when logging in for the first time, to see the "first time user" help bar reading that they can login with admin, with a password of admin. Suggestion: network interface monitoring during timespan
Here is a suggested feature: For devices (especially network), allow the user to show all inerface traffic graphs for a certain timespan. This is useful for narrowing down bandwidth usage and abuse. This is a standard feature of Cacti, which is free.
Availability Distribution Graph Not Showing
hi, I am using build 7024. On the overview page when I select any date range less than 7 days ( yesterday, today, 12 hours or 24 hours) the availability graph only displays as 'X'. MSP Probe Install failure
Hi I have 2 Small Business servers that are giving the same error. Discover Servers Using CSV file
Hi I created a list in a CSV file with 450 servers. 300 of them are already discovered in OPmanager. I upload the file select the fileds and after a lot of time of activity it displays that 450 Servers with OS Windows 2003 are ready to be imported. If i expand the list i see all the names of the servers. I select import. and It finishes that very fast without errors but the servers are not discovered. I still have 300 servers. I use the latest version on Windows 2003 server. example of csv file Host,Name,OS

I've just install OpUtils 5 and play with it for a while, but didn't find alerts configuration option. For example: if errors appeared on Cisco switch interface then send email-alert to designated email-address. Can it be performed with OpUtils 5 or any other software from AdventNet? Physically mapping from Index# to Cisco Switch
We are running a Cisco Catalyst 6500 Switch with 6 blades. A few of the ports (indexes) are offline and/or have issues as reported by OpManager. I want to know how we can map a certain index # to a port physically across all the blades. The indexes in OpManager range from 1-278. Each of our blades has 48 ports for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 switch. If we can map the index # to a port physically on the Switch, then we can remedy the situation. Switchport Mapper Issue

When will OpManager use more then one CPU?
Looking for a time line. I have OpManager installed on a Redhat Linux 5.2 server. The server has 4 CPU's, 4 cores each, and 32GB of ram. OpManager does not take advantage of any more then one CPU and will not use more then 2GB of ram. Is this going to be fixed soon? -Adam

Custom HomeScreen?
would it be possible to change the layout of the front screen? we would like to use both the infrastructure and business snapshot as a live system status style display. however currently we cant display more than 10 lines without using the more option. ideally would would live to show around 20 lines to show in detail alot of our services that are live. even if it ment we lost the alarms graph or availabilty distribution. is there any way we can change this view?
No monitors working after license install
We've just purchased OpManager Premium. I had been using it previously with the 30 day evaluation license. After I received the purchased license and installed it, none of the monitors are working for any of the devices. I've tried shutting down and restarting OpManager and restarting the server that OpManager is installed onto but with no success. Can someone please shed some light on what could possibly be wrong? Issue with OpManager's Windows Service Monitors and Same Dis
I already created a ticket, but I am posting in the forums so everyone is aware. We are having an issue with OpManager 7, 7102. We have seen a situaton with OpManager's Windows Service Monitors where if the same display name for the service exists on two servers with different windows service names, then OpManager erroneously shows the different service name as down. Here is the evidence: 2 Exchange Servers. 1 is Exchange 2003, 1 is Exchange 2007. Both run POP3. Exchange 2007's service display name

OpManager says interface is down, but interface is up
Hi, Recently, my Opmanager reported that my router interface constantly 'went down' for a few minutes and then 'went back up' minutes later. However the interface is very much up and running. This has happened a few times within the span of a few hours. It seemed like Opmanager was unable to ping the particular IP of the interface at certain intervals and reported it as 'down'. This was the first time in a very long time that Opmanager behaved this way and I have yet to find an explanation for this.
Feature Suggestion
When you are on the "Add Device" page could it be possible to add a "select" or "deselect" all box for the "credentials to use" part? As I get add more devices from different areas that have different credentials i have to manually go through and remove all of the selected boxes when there is only one I really need. Thanks, Joe
Problem getting data from dataset
I attempted to parameterize a value in my test using a csv file. When running the load test I received the error "Problem in getting Datas From Dataset. Please check the Dataset Configuration in Parameterization." After numerous attempts to fix, I just deleted the csv file and set the values back to their default value. Running the test resulted in same error. Deleted the transaction and load test, recreated transaction and load test - nothing parameterized yet still receive the same error. Any ideas?
URL Monitor reports, high response times
Hi, We've just set OpManager(7102) to watch 32 URLs we host. The response times for these are incorrect as any machine on the same network pinging these URLs will get 1ms consistently. Our urls in OpManager are showing 15-2281ms response time. Is there a better way to get OpManager to return accurate response times while monitoring URLs?
SNMP scan returns incorrect System Type for HP Procurve swit
I'm testing OpUtils and found one problem. We have both HP Procurve 2626 and 2810 switches installed. When I do an SNMP Scan, the Procurve 2626 switches are listed with a System Type of "hp procurve switch 2626-cr" but the 2810 switches are listed with a System Type that is actually a device's DNS Name. Any idea why the Procurve 2810 switches are not listed with the correct System Type?
