Physically mapping from Index# to Cisco Switch
We are running a Cisco Catalyst 6500 Switch with 6 blades. A few of the ports (indexes) are offline and/or have issues as reported by OpManager. I want to know how we can map a certain index # to a port physically across all the blades. The indexes in OpManager range from 1-278. Each of our blades has 48 ports for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 switch. If we can map the index # to a port physically on the Switch, then we can remedy the situation.
