OpManager report to list Windows & SQL servers with CPU/Core
Checked standard report doesn't have this function, is there any possible to generate Windows & SQL servers with CPU/Core number? it could help for license inventory. Thanks in advance!

On the OpManager Help Page it list the the perquisite below. http://help.opmanager.com/passthrough_api A computer account must be created in the Domain Controller for ensuring secure communication with the Domain Controller by OpManager. I have HTTPs configured, but want to know a little more information about the security of the pass-through to AD. Hi experts ! recently i`ve started to work with an installed opmanager system, its licensed with 150 devices and never expire time limit. i wanted to add switch to system but add button is completely disabled i suspected that if there are some limitation on number of devices (previousely there are about 30 devices added) and i delete some devices but new device still can not be added (add button is disabled) can you tell me why it happening ? thanks a lot
Edit default MSSQL thresholds
How do I edit the global thresholds for MSSQL monitors? For instance: I would like to change the default log monitor threshold from being a critical alarm to just being an attention threshold. I can go into the server, and click the alarm, and click edit threshold, and change it for that server. But I want to change it at the monitor level so that I don't have to change it for each individual server each time it happens. I am trying to move my installation to a new server. I installed a blank version of OpManager to destination and also copied my backup directory to the new server. VMWare hardware sensors not showing up in opmanager
Hi, We added all our ESX hosts successfully to OpManager and VM discovery, datastore discovery and other metrics are showing up fine. When browsing to the hardware info tab we see that the information from the physical server is there However, when looking at the hardware tab the sensors show up empty In our vSphere client we're able to see the sensors just fine .. What are we missing to make sure the sensors status is reported in opmanager as well? We would like all our hardware sensors to be
OpManager probe service starts and stops after a few seconds

Manage Engine Server Consolidation
Hello, I am working in an IT environment in which we have 9 Virtual Machines for Manage Engine products. Currently we have Device Expert, Firewall Analyzer, ADManager, OCCollector, Audit Plus, MailReporter, Password Manager, and OpsManager. I was wondering if we can consolidate those products into Virtual Hosts and run two virtual machines instead of nine? I would set up the environment with two Apache servers, one for production and one for failover.
OpManager URL monitoring
Hi. I'm looking to monitor URLs on a number of webservers from OpManager. I'm having mixed success. Standard HTTP to any web server (TCP 80) is working fine. We also want to monitor a custom port of 6757 on the same webservers. HTTP TCP connections are established between the OpManager probe and the webserver on port 6757 on them and an error 403 is returned (as expected and wanted by us). OpManager then reports for one that the port is up and running but on a different one that the service is down

ServiceDesk integration gives unknown username/password
Hello and good morning all I am having some issues in setting up the integration to servicedesk plus (opmanager - build 11500, servicedesk 9.0 build 9047) I go into service desk and put in the details for opmanager, and this works all ok I go into opmanager, enter all of the details for servicedesk and I get a unknown username/password error. but I am able to log into servicedesk with the same username and password without any issues (and this is the account I used to setup servicedesk intergration
Editing Monitors
Hello Just question, I have added the exchange server to the list of devices that OpManager look after. It is showing as some services are down. namely MS Exchange IMAP4, Micorosoft Exchange Unifield Message Service. Both of those services we don't use, how can you stop OpManager for monitoring them? I tried editing the monitoring, but those items are greyed out. Can anyone help Thanks Andrew

I try to test alarm from below setting but it's show below msg and require to install sound player plug-in on web browser. However I already install plug-in but it's still not work. Process Monitor not collection data
We have been using Process Monitors successfully on most Windows devices with WMI, and they are working as expected, however on several Window devices, the Process Monitor is not returning any data, it will successfully poll and list all he running processes on the device using WMI, but the monitor does not provide any CPU, Memory statistics. Rest API - Add Device to Notification Profile

Not saving Changes
Hi, We are running 11600, we cannot save any changes for some reason. Example1. When changing thresholds, it says it has changed the threshold, you refresh the page and it goes back to the old setting. Example 2. When changing the vendor/device type, press apply. It says it has saved the change to the database, then refreshes and the old values are there. Getting very frustrating as I cant actually change anything! Thanks
Scheduled backup window to suppress performance alarms
Whenever my Veeam Backup runs, it triggers CPU alarms on all the VMs it's backing up. Other monitors (like VeeamONE) automatically identify backup events and suppress performance alarms during these events. Can you please add a "backup window" option, where I can select which alarms to suppress during that time?
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException in OpManager
I am trying to use GMail for the mail server in OpManager. However I am receiving a javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException when attempting to test the configuration. I have successfully setup ServiceDesk to use the GMail account. The forum entries I have found for configuring OpManager to use Gmail email servers are not working. Some of the options do not exist on the setup page. Any ideas?

Hi, Is it possible to trigger an alarm only when the count of a same kind of trap event excceed a treshold for a specific period of time? For exemple we receive an event each time a IPS sugnature is matched for a firewall witch is not necessary relevant.
How to get rid of unrouted vlans in OpManager?
Hi, Our company uses Cisco 6500 series switches and we have a bunch of vlans. As we use layer 2 vlans in our main gateway and we also use VTP, a lot of vlans show up as unrouted vlans and hinder the management process severely. The question is: How to remove those vlans that show up as unrouted vlans from OpManager or at least from some device templates? Just removing them from the device every time is not an option as we have to remove them every time we rediscover the devices.
Op Manager doesnt discover new VMware VM
I added my entire VMware environment by discovering the vCenter server. However, i added a new VM in vCenter and it does not discover it in Op Manager. I do not have any option to rediscover the host that it is running on (dont know why). I tried to rediscover the vCenter server but it did not pick up the new VM. I have also tried to discover the VM directly, but it discovers a server and not virtual device. How on earth does this product pull in new VM's (or get rid of deleted VM's for that
Notification response time
after a server goes down or reboots, the email notification is late by an hour after server is already up and running. Is there a setting to change that?
Telnet fails for all hosts
Hi I cannot get a telnet login to work on any systems from my Opmanager. Opmanager Essential, build 11300. I have tried Qnx, linux, Unix, even a Cisco switch. Opmanager reports CLI failure due to "Incorrect Login Parameters" for everything I have tried. I can telnet from the Opmanager server to the devices and login with the credentials, so there are no problems with comms or credentials. I have an opman v10200 and a lot of devices with DHCP maanaged IP addresses. Every time when the device gets new IP from DHCP I have to go to opman console and change IP of this device manually, because opman keeps old IP in its DB. Any chance to make opman use host name and DNS for resolving device IP? Thank you!

Can I resize teh google maps widget?
I would like to resize the google maps widget on a dashboard. Is this possible? I can resize my iFrame widgets but I now have lots of white space around the google map and would like to resize it to fill the space. This will make the map more readable too with our branches. Rob
