Credential Hyper V
Hi, While creating a new credential WMI, I should give "Domain Name \ User Id" of an admin account or an user account is enough? Because when I add a hyperv host with an admin account it works perfectly but with a standard user account nothing (a normal device only is added) Please tell me if the admin account is must. Thanks

Close incident when alert is cleared
Greetings, I've been told that OpManager has the ability to close the incident generated by an alert when the same has been cleared. I'm using ServiceDesk 9.0 and OpManager 11200 but the incidents opened by alerts in OpManager remain open until we take manual action. Could you guide me on where should we configure that? OpManager V11.5
Hello, I must be overlooking something simple, but I cannot find out how to exclude a specific switch interface from polling in OpManager. In many cases on my switches I have ports that are administratively shutdown from the Cisco command line configuration. In OpManager these ports are reported with a status of "Critical" or "Trouble" How can I set these unused interfaces in OPManager so they do not report a critical or trouble status? Regards,

Alarms not correlating properly
We have extensive use of SNMP traps and constantly get SET's then CLEAR traps from time to time for things that fix itself. Our loadbalancer is F5, from time to time the remote end will disappear so it SETS a critical, but then there is another CRITICAL when it clears. I realize I can edit the trap processor to make the second a CLEAR but how can i get it to CLEAR the first SET? Here is a good example: 10.238.8.221 The trap is received from 10.238.8.221.The trap details are as follows , bigipNotifyObjMsg=SNMP_TRAP:
Traffic Flow Graphs for Fortigate 60D not updating in OP Manager

Unable to Create Layer2 Map - No Credentials Available for Selection
I am running OpManager 11600 and when I go to "Layer 2 Maps" there are no Credentials available to select, it is just a blank box. Even though I have already defined SNMP, SSH and WMI credentials, and have already discovered devices and am actively managing them by their credentials. I've tried uploading a screen shot, but apparently the forum upload function doesn't work either (argh) ... So I've attached it instead.

Copy SNMP trap processors from one probe to the next
We use OpManager central to connect to 3 remote probes. Each probe has about 250 various devices connected to it. We use SNMP traps extensively and have had to customize the alarms etc.. for over 200 SNMP MIB's to get the alarm parameters correct. Is there still no way to copy this from one probe to the next? I opened a ticket a long time ago and asked for this and they said it was future maybe. But this is crazy, I cannot believe there is not a way to export and import that data via script or

OpManager and eSensors temperature probe not saving data
We have an Websensor EM08 and I have set it up OpManager to see it and created a device template for it. I tried to setup threshold monitors for temperature and humidity too high / low. But when I try to pull up a graph or I go into the monitor I have setup, there is no data. So in summary, I have set it up, confirmed that it can retrieve data, and said I want it to store

Not sure if it's related ... I have ServiceDesk Plus running on the same server.

OpManager Reports at a Glance Missing
OpManager 11 doesn't appear to have the "Reports at a Glance" when going into a device. Is there a way to get this back? Regards -Gary
OpManager, well so far not so FLUID experience
I never used buggier application in my life than OpManager. Amount of stuff that doesn't work is just ridiculous. Idea that whenever something doesn't work "just switch to old UI and fix it there" is nonsense. You want to review your server monitors? "It's easy, just click on Monitor tab!" well it doesn't work, blank screen. You want to remove monitor? "Just click on Remove button!" Well .... that bloody button doesn't exist, ohh yeah sorry ... it's in "old UI". "Your service is down", said OpManager.
Device Notes Fields Order
Is there any way to set the order of the Notes fields. It seems to be ordered very random. Doesn't even follow the list in admin or the order they were added to OpManager.
