Alarm keeps coming up for a service that doesn't exist
Hi, I have a service down alert for a service that I used to monitor, but no longer exists. The alert shows up in recent alarms, I can clear it and acknowledge it, but it will come back. I can't see it in the list of monitored services. How do I get rid of it? Best wishes Michael

OpManager + Netflow plugin
Hi All, I have downloaded the Netflow plugin and configured routers to do flow exports, but it is still not monitoring in OpManager I Found that after starting OpManager the netflow is not listening on 9996 after some troubleshooting i used the command line (run) to start Netflow, also no luck Any guidance to what to do ?! I am trying to add a NAS storage in Opmanager for monitoring. Its getting added, but cant enable any monitor. I tried importing MIB and monitoring cpu and memory using NAS MIB, Still its not reading any information. SNMP tests passes successfuly as well.
Receive Traps from OpManager
Hey there, I'm trying to receive traps from OpManager (over Notification Profiles) with another system. To receive that traps I need the OPMANAGER-MIB from the folder „..\OpManager\mibs\". But this MIB hasn't defined a trap. So it isn't possible to integrate that in the other system, because the another system need to know which traps are incoming. Why it is so? Or is there another MIB which I need?
ESXi performance monitors
Hello, I've successfully added our vCenter server to OPManager for monitoring (it's a Windows server) and it detects all our hosts and adds them as separate entries. However, when I try to add HOST-RESOURCES Monitors for CPU, Memory, etc, using SNMP (credential test for SNMP passes for the device, CLI is not setup), it says "Unable to add the graph as device type is UnKnown". Hi, I've recently upgraded to a paid licenced version of OpManager and have started adding our Hyper-V hosts. The hosts are being picked up OK but there are no listings under the virtual machines. What can I do about this? I am running build 11600 on a windows 2012 server.

Need to change how Interface Templates are applied
While using interface templates to set only up/down critical links to send us alerts, I accidentally applied the setting to all interfaces, meaning I have to do this tedious work all over again! This could have been easily prevented if the default selection was set to Apply to Specific interfaces instead of all interfaces. I highly recommend changing this, or at least add a confirmation message so others don't have to go through the same pain.
Interface template system needs to be fixed
The default when applying interface template is apply to all interfaces - meaning you can overwrite all your settings in one accidental click, not even a warning message Devs need to fix this issue!!

Deleting some monitors
I have installed OpManager (free edition) (version 12000 64bit) I have added my test exchange server and various others servers. on the exchange server, opmanager has added some default monitors, ie "Microsoft Exchange unilfied messaging service" in my test setup I don't use this, but I am unable to delete the monitor. when you click on the trash can on that monitor nothing happens? I have this on the other servers, were opmanager has added default monitors. any ideas on how to remove them?

I constantly receive from all Wintel servers same error "The AuthenticationFailure trap is received from XXX. The trap details are as follows" - SNMP is configured properly, it passes all tests but OPmanager still shows errors. Does anyone have clue what's wrong?

Auto Manage Tickets
Can OpManager integration with Service Desk Plus be extended further to allow OpManager to mark an unclaimed ticket as resolved. So if OpManager raises a ticket for a threshold breached or device down etc, then if the problem is resolved with no user interaction, it automatically closes the ticket. It would also be useful if we didn't need to purchase a technician license for OpManager to link to ServiceDeskPlus as well.
WMI Namespaces
Hi there As I understand it, Opmanager shows WMI monitors under the root\cimv2 tree. If that is the case, how can we add WMI monitors for a server that reside under a different tree ? ie we want to monitor Citrix License usage on our Citrix Licensing server. We couldn't fine a WMI counter within Opmanager for this, but have now come across a 3rd party PS script which seems to give us the info we want and it is referring to: Get-WmiObject -class “Citrix_GT_License_Pool” -namespace “ROOT\CitrixLicensing”

OpManager - How can I disable trouble alarms for HP printers
Hello, I am seeing a large number of trouble alarms / alerts on HP printers for some simple tasks like "Loading Tray XX with Paper" and I can't figure out where or how to set them as disabled.. There are no Service Monitors, URL Monitors, Performance Monitors (That control this feature), or Script Monitors. There are no notification profiles set, IT Automation, or Applications. I don't see anywhere in the interfaces section to enable Trouble Alerts. One of the printers in question: I don't mind
Xenapp 6.5 Logon Mode check
Hello, we are running a 20 server xenapp 6.5 farm and I am looking for a way to alert when individual servers put themselves in maintenance mode or "Logon Mode = ProhibitLogonsOnly" I know I can run qfarm /load on any xenapp server to get the list of all servers and their logon mode. Monitor mapped drives through a vpn
Hello, My Subject looks like this one : https://forums.manageengine.com/topic/monitor-mapped-network-drive We want to find a way to monitor free disk space on a mapped drive through a vpn so using snmp because WMI don't work over a vpn here. I also tried MibBrowser and HrStorageTable doesn't list the mapped drive on the host. Are we able to monitor a mapped drive through a vpn using snmp or anything else ? Best regards, Samuel

Unable to monitor OpManager itself via WMI
Hi, We have OpManager installed on vm (vmware) Windows 2008 R2 based. I'm unable to monitor this server in OpManager via WMI. SNMP works fine. Whenever I'm testing credentials SNMP says 'passed' and WMI immediately (no longer than half second) shows 'failed' like it wouldn't try to connect at all. I've compared snmp, wmi config on that server with almost same vm machine running same os and configuration is almost 100% same. That other machine is being also monitored via local admin account in OpManager

Hi, I have a virtual machine with a Windows Windows Server 2003 R2 enterprise service pack 2 installed on it. I have configured the snmp service and the community on the server. Actual snmp service state is active and running. The problem is that when is added on the OpManager v11600 and I assigned the credential, in the snapshot of the device says that the test connection was successful but when I try to see the server process it shown this message "Please check whether the device is SNMP enabled

Enabling SSL on probe servers
Good day This is in connection with Request ID #2782387 I have someone assist with enabling SSL on one of our probe sites, however I gave him the incorrect location of the certificate (the cert is for our old probe site) and we got a cert error every time we access OpMan. Also, and more importantly, the update to SSL broke all the plug-ins - AppManager and Netflow stopped working altogether. I tried updating them to SSL as well but to no avail. Hey guys I've downloaded and installed the new OpManager v12 and I must say, it is AWESOME! It seems much more functional than the previous version, as well as more sleek looking (just in time for Win10) More importantly, the Hyper-V host monitoring is much better too, with accurate Hyper-V server information pulling through.
