NTServiceMonitor giving false positive if access denied
Hi, It seems that a "Windows Service Monitor" gives green check mark status when access is denied due to invalid credentials or insufficient permissions. I can reproduce the issue at several customers. Could you please check the issue internally? Regards, AJ

Monitor Dell Server Disks
Hello, Can someone tell me if its possible to monitor disks on a Dell Power edge server or even an HP server? I cant see any monitors that allow me to do this.... I can monitor space but what I want to monitor is if a disk goes into predictive failure or fails in a RAID. Nagios can currently do this by monitoring the server via Openmanage or SNMP on the iDrac card. Can opmanager do the same? These are the only ones I can see available to me.... Clearing alerts
Running on v12.2 ( just upgraded from 11). I have my VCenter server throwing the "VmPoweredOffEvent" and set to "Attention". The "VmPoweredOnEvent" is set to "Clear", but it does not clear the alert. Am I doing something wrong, or does something need to be changed? Thanks Adam

Remove Windows Service Monitor
I have about 100 servers that are monitoring a service that I wish to stop monitoring. The servers are not grouped in any way such as a map or view or type. Is there a way to remove this particular monitor in bulk without going into each of 100 servers? Version 12.2 Thanks Kevin

Hi, When I'm adding performance monitors, e.g. Windows Services to a device I can select each and every service by clicking the checkbox. This results in quite a few clicks. Is it possible to add a query field so that we can search for services or list al running services and then click the select all checkbox? Regards, AJ
After Upgrading from version 11.6 to 12.2 one of the probes is complaining about expiring license.
After Upgrading from version 11.6 to 12.2 one of the probes is complaining about expiring license. One of the probes upgraded successfully, it worked initially, but after a reboot was no longer able to launch. Ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the probe and that works however now it claims it will expire in 29 days.

How to show BER value correctly on BER Performance Monitor?
Hi OpManager Support I have BER monitor setup in OpManager Build version 11600, however, it is not showing correctly when the data is polled. Instead of showing, 0.000001, it is displayed as "0". The MIB Browser shows the OID string output the results to "0.0E-10" and using the Add New Monitor, in the Functional Expression, it can be changed to "StringToNumeric" which is currently setup to. However, the Test Monitor shows the values as "0". Is this a bug or design ? Is there's another way to display

Can someone advise how I can mass edit the ad service monitors to be consistent? Devices under the category domain controllers have monitors turned on that we no longer need r are configured outside of what we want to set them at.
OpMan/AppMan Central not linking probes
Hey there So I've setup new OpCentral and AppCentral probes and wanted to link the various OpMan and AppMan probes to it, but cannot seem to do so. Interfaces on Windows objects (unmanage or remove multiple at once)
So there are tons of interfaces on a Windows Server or VM automatically included and monitored when discovered. Is there a way to mass disable the monitoring so only the primary NIC(s) are actively monitored? Manually going through one at a time and choosing Unmanage, Configure -> Disable or delete is a huge pain. BackupDB.bat stuck
We are preparing to upgrade OpManager 11.6 to 12.2 and I'm running BackupDB.bat on D:\Program Files\ManageEngine\OpManager\bin\backup. The backup starts to run but gets stuck at one particular table, I let it run over about an hour. The OpManager service was running when I initially started the backup. I have tried stopping the OpManager service, as well as closing Java and Wrapper service. It seems to get stuck at the same table every time. It moves very quickly up until this point. Monitoring systems that use DHCP
Is there a way to automatically update IP addresses on machines that use DHCP, or change IP’s for other reasons? It seems like once a week I have a device reporting as down, because the IP has changed. I know I could change some settings to go by name instead of IP, but I don't think we want to go that direction either.

Increasing Heap Size on NCM
Has anyone have issues with the low heap size on NCM? It's showing me it uses about 600MB while it only has 100MB heap size. I tried tuning the heap size by executing the -Xms and -Xmx commands but it looks like it needs to point to a certain java "object" (or script? not that familiar with JVM). Wondering if anyone have any experience tuning the heap size and can share the command line they used. Thanks

Hi there, Im having issues with the OpManager deployed at an enterprise. The issue is that, i have OpManager running and monitoring the switches at an enteprise, but the OpManager is not displaying the correct "model" for the switch that Im monitoring. I have Cisco Catalyst 6500 series WS-C6509-E running and monitored by the OpManager, however in the EOL/EOS report that was produced, the OpManager displayed the switch as "6500 series 6509" which is different model than the switch running. Hi There I don't know why but everytime when I use the OPM After 1 hr that I use it i have to close and reopen the tab, cause the page start with about 300Kb of memory and when I close the tab is about 1.3Gb...and I can't work cause everything is really slow. Flow Monitor not working
I'm trying to get flow monitoring working on our switches. I've enabled it on the Dell switches, tested this with wireshark and sflow traffic is coming into the server. But I can't get any information to display in OpManager. Is there something I need to install? I can't find a plug in anywhere on the website.
