Event ID's not coming through into Op Manager.
I am having an issue with Op Manager not getting Event ID's from all of my devices that are in Op Manager. I made sure that WMI service is started and working on all of the servers including my Op Manager server. Thanks.

Hi! I've just installed the LinuxMonitor SNMP agent on a Linux box next to my desk. It's on the same subnet as the machine running OpManager and has no firewall. I can browse to the LinuxMonitor web interface on port 8040 and all looks fine, however when I try to test an SNMP monitor from OpManager, say Disk Utilization, OpManager claims "The Monitor did not respond to the test request". Problems with MSSQL stats
Hello All, I have been trying to get the MSSQL stats working in OpManager, but I haven't been able to get any of them to work. I have SNMP and the SQL Server Agent running as the instructions tell me to do, but I can't get any statistics back, With the exception of Cache Hit Ratio (which has recorded nothing but 0). My server crash
Hello, I have a problem that I don't understand. Sometime my server crashes and I must restart/start OpManager service. It seems me the problem is caused by the utlization of the java client. For example, when I use the Java client and I forget to exit it after I have used it, the client loses the connection with the server, then a popup message alerts me that I must restart the server (the server has crashed just before). Anybody could help me to solve that? Thanks Regards.
Problem with service monitor
I have a W2003 server monitored with opmanager and everything goes fine except the service monitoring. Every time I try to add a monitor I obtain the following error: "Error # User credentials cannot be used for local connections". Userid and password are okay so I tried to check the request to the server and I saw that there is not any request when I try to add the monitor, so the problem seems related directly with opmanager. Any suggestion? Ricky
PSeries AIX server MIBS not graphing at all
Has anyone successfully setup a PSeries running AIX to graph memory, CPU & Disk space? I have setup SNMP & connect to the box and interrogate but I get no infoOpmanager connects & says that the server is a RISC 6000 & the OID is correct. The authentication is correct & I get the OS version correctly but that is about all I get.
Why it shows the IP instead the name?
On the Reports-- Devices availabilty Some of them shows the Displayname, while some shows the IP.. How to set it such that it shows the Display name instead the IPs

Disk space of Exchange stores is N/A, also no data listed
1.) I have attached a screenshot of my Exchange dashboard. I see alot of "green" zeros but no data there. When I click on them and select the 7 day or 30 day view I have no data collected. The monitors all seem to test ok. 2.) I am also wondering why I cannot see the disk space of the email and public stores. Shouldn't I see numbers in place of all the green zeros??

CPU Utilization Monitor.
It would be nice if there was a way to make alerts not be recorded unless CPU usage stays pinned at the threshold for a certain period of time, say 5 mins. Otherwise you constantly receive alerts every time the CPU usage spikes even for a minute. David.
Cannot connect to server after initial installation
Hello! We've just downloaded and instaleld OpManager under RedHat Fedora Core 4. So far so good, the install appeared to go fine. However upon running the StartOpManagerClient.sh we can't connect to the server (running on the same machine) and are asked by the client app. to "Check whether the server is running". OpManager is unable to contact the SMTP server
When I try to send a message test to the SMTP server it shows a message "unable to contact the mail server. Verify if the configured port is working on the server". I�ve this server configured for mail also for a Citrix application and it is working fine. I�ve tried with 2 smtp servers without success. Cisco Aeronet 1200 not being recognized
I've added all 3 of our cisco aeronets. When i added them they were put as server and as unknown devices. I moved them into wireless and added them as device Cisco C1200 Aeronet. The only thing I'm getting from them is uptime, I'm guessing this isn't normal?
URL Monitor Ignore Threshold
I was wondering if there was a way to set the URL monitor to only report if the URL fails twice or more? I have a number of URL's that I monitor and I often get a failure from one device or potentially lots of devices at one poll and then it's fine again straight away. I am thinking this is a connectivity issue at our end rather than the URL not being available. With that in mind it would be great if there was a way to ignore certain types of failure unless their is more than one alarm for the URL.
OpManager server fails to start
Hi, I'm evaluating OpManager, and it's working fine on our LAN, but when I tried to install it on another box (2003 server) in another LAN we have the server fails to start. It seems like it has problems with Tomcat. I'm running it on port 50080 and we do have another Tomcat process on this box on 80 and 443, but I doubt this is an interfering factor. 50080 is responding with an "Internal Server Error". OpManager DNS resolution
When discovering devices, many appear only with the IP address and not the name? Can you please explain how OpManager resolves the name, for example, using DNS reverse lookup (IP) or WINS (NetBIOS)? I see from a forum post on Firewall Analyser (http://forums.manageengine.com/forumHome.do?forumGroupId=49000000002007&forumTopicId=49000002677505) that there can be timeout issues. No Percentage on Disks....
It would be nice if you could set disks to percentage rates for full rather than for specific GB or MB ratings. It would also be nice if one could set general categories, e.g., "OS Drive", "File Server Drive", etc. and give different values for these types of drives, then rather than assigning "90%" to each OS drive individually you could just set that drive to "OS Drive". Hi folks, We're currently evaluating OpManager for our organization. There are several custom SNMP monitors I want to setup utilizing dhcp.mib, ftp.mib, http.mob, and inetsrv.mib, which are all found under c:\windows\system32 on a Windows Server 2003 install. I copy these MIB files to the $OPMANAGER\mibs\ directory. When I attempt to "Load MIB" within OpManager's MIB browser, it fails trying to load any of these MIB files with the error: "Error parsing MIB: foo.mib". What's the deal? How do I load
Monitoring Cisco 2600
Hi, I have a Cisco 2651 which I was successfully monitoring with Opmanager. Out of a sudden opmanager stopped reading statistical information from the Router interfaces. I have deleted the device and re added it. OpManager detects the router correctly and list all the interfaces but can not get any information other than the IOS version it is running. Deleted Netowrks Stay
I'll delete a network from the discovered networks, the page refreshes, they're gone, close browser, reopen still gone, BUT they will reappear upon system restart/restart of the OpManager Server. Any ideas of the cause? Notes: I'm not using the default 'admin' account-but I am using an account with all the admin privlidges. Any idea why the database doesn't 'keep' my networks list? If I add a network it will stay just fine-it's removing them that I'm having issues.

I am trying to add snmp based traffic monitoring to a 3Com supersatck 4900 switch. when adding traffic monitors -> Interface RxTraffic, interface Tx Traffic etc and run test monitor, I get an error message saying no response from device and with possible resons: Snmp not enabled etc. When I go to the mib browser and use RFC 1213, go to ifInOctets etc and do a get, I get a response with the counts for the traffic. (so I suppose it is not a problem with the passwords and community strings?) The swich

Hi I am trying to get a 3Com Supersatck 4900 switch monitored with SNMP using OPMANGER. When I go to the Traffic monitors Rx traffic TX traffic etc and click the edit button and run Test monitor I get "monitor does not respond to test request".
