Router Bandwidth
Is there a way to make a report with total router bandwidth? I would like to have a report with tx and rx and then have total bandwidth on one report. Please advise
Router Interface status remains up after unmanaged
Hi, It seems like the interface status of router remains 'up' (green) even after it is unmanaged. The status suppose to change to grey icon after is it unmanaged right? I am facing this issue when I unmanaged a number of interfaces of my routers. Now I all the interfaces of my routers are showing up (green) even though some of them are unmanaged. Rgds.
Router Interface Availability Graph Incorrect
When clicking on an interface of a rouer to get the detail, it shows the Todays Availability graph incorrectly. It shows it as 100% downtime, ie all red. If I clcik on the graph, I get a popup window which shows it as 100% uptime, ie green. I have attached an image of the two graphs.
Alarm on free disk space in %
Is it possible to setup OpManager to generate an alarm when the free disk space of a volume drops below a given percentage? As I see it right now - it is only possible to set the threshold in units of GB or MB.
IBM SAN Storage --> new device type problem
Hi, My company just bought IBM SAN Storage and my manager ask me to add it to opmanager. So i did it , but opmanager found it as desktop device. And i want to add it to new device type, but the opmanger said "Device is not reachable. Check the device name and SNMP parameters." . I already check the IP, SNMP parameter and its all correct, are there any sugsestions :?:
Minor issue in OpManager 5.5

Some are new to this version, others have been there before. 1) Response time threshold for Service Monitors (only web-client) With the java-client is it possible to configure a threshold based on the service response-time. Remove ServiceDesk and NetFlow from Add-On/Products
I am trying to remove from the NetFlow and ServiceDesk links from the Add-On/Products Integration section under Admin in OpManager. I installed the trial versions and they integrated fine. Now I would like to remove them from the system. The problem I have is that all of the fields are "required" in the admin system so I can't clear them and resubmit. The second issue is that there are still links to the old applications thorughout the site for example there is a link on each of the dashboard pages.
Watchguard xCore700 and Opmanager
I recently setup and installed a new Watchguard xCore700 firewall and want to use Opmanager to monitor it's performance, data traffic through it's interfaces, VPN info etc. Watchguard supplied Mib's that I placed in the Advent MIB folder. I can launch the mibBrowser.bat file and can see those MIB's. Now what?? Rally need some step by step info here as I've never dealt with this before. APC UPS
We have 5 APC SMARTUPS 3000 with management cards on 3 networks (172.16.x.x , 192.168.58.x , 192.168.3.x ) The first 3 are about 2 years old, one is 6 month and the last one is 1 month old. The only one opmanager is adding with the blue star is the last one, its adding the other 4 as Desktop pc. I compared the 5 APC web interfaces and the settings are the same. SNMP is enabled with string public and the ip from the machine with opmanager installed. Do I have to type til apc/apc logon in the Password
Apache exits when I log out
I installed Opmanager 6 on Windows 2003 Server 64bit Edition. It seems that when I log into the box locally or via terminal services (mstsc /console) and I log out, Apache exits which terminates http access to OpManager. It still collects stats and monitors devices though. Even if OpManager is started from the service control panel, the result is the same.
UPS Graceful Shutdown via Opmanager
I can setup a Custom Monitor via the PowerNet MIB so I know what the battery temperature is, and can therefore set a threshold and generate an event. What I would like to do now is send an SNMP put command to instruct the UPS to go into Graceful Shutdown. Is there a nice simple way of doing this?

Furthermore, only one of the interfaces are being managed. I am unable to manage the other two interfaces as the button to do so is greyed out and says unmanaged.
CPU Utilization Snapshot --- Incorrect with Processor % Time
Hi I don't understand why the change in using Percentage Processor Time for Domain Controllers, for pupulating the Snapshot CPU Utilization % Dial. I can confirm that the data I'm getting makes no sense, and seems quite incorrect. Attached find snapshots of actual processor utilization as seen from the server's Task Manager | Performance Monitor -vs Opmanager's report which I was updating and looking at at the same time. No CPU Utilization dial displayed for Cisco switches
Hey guys, Still evalutating OpManager and getting people enthusiastic about it within the company. It's very slick looking and really allows us to make certain things a lot more clear. In my opmanager application I configure a server time monitor equal = 30 min. To minimize a bandwith use. We have 100 server aproxim. When a windows service is down I have to wait 30 min to receive a alarm. Service Down dont exist in traps list. How I can add this event like a trap? Thank

Memory Utilization % on Linux
would like to know how is calculed this value because I don't understand. For example, I monitor my linux server using cli - ssh, I get around 11% of memory utlization but values of real is 98%. Hello, I'm trying to get the call history table off of a Cisco IAD2431 but I get the message to pick an OID when I select .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.27.1.1.3 which is the OID for the CiscoCallHistoryTable. Alarm log
Hi, Is it possible to configure OpManager to display the full trap message in the alarm log? When a trap is received from the wireless switch OpManager does not display the last line which contains the most important piece of information that is the access point name an IP address. If we configure Opmanager to send the trap via email then all required information are displayed. Bellow are 2 samples of the trap. Problems with snmp --- OID not implemented???
hi First i'm using Linux(manager),and windows XP (agent), my problem is that ... when I configure a Monitor report such as DiskUtilization or CPU Utilization .... I can see nothing, the snmp protocol has been installed in windows machine but when i do a test monitor, it says "The Monitor did not respond to the test request", if i do another thing such as coldstart... it works. So I think the problem is "The OID may not have been implemented in the MIB". could be? I need help, please.... thanks
error when loading MIB
I am using opmanager version 6 and I keep getting this error when I try to load a vendor mib. The error get is "Error parsing MIB:axis-mib", I can load this mib fine using mibbrowser.bat but through the web interface it always give me this error. I am trying to create a custom monitor but it want load this mib. Any help is appreciated.
Deleted Device data
Hi, I have accidentally deleted one of my db server from OpManage and then add it back. But all previous data (e.g. CPU, Memory, Disk util) related to that box has been lost. Is there any way I can have all the previous data back?? Or does it delete all the releated data along with the device? ~/Ovi
Device associated URL monitors -- problems with maintenance
I have a couple development / testing servers which each have about 9 URL monitors listed under them. I have reocurring maintenance downtime scheduled for Wednesdays at 4:45am on those devices. Today the maintenance was performed 2 minutes early, so we received several "service down" notifications for the URLs, which btw, on the notification profile URL category is not checked. Notification Profile Issue
I am trying to setup a notification profile that sends an email only if a threshold value has been exceeded. Attached is the notification profile setup. I've associated this notification profile to a couple of devices, but when the threshold (WMI disk space in MB) gets exceeded, no email comes through. Monitoring RSSI with Trangolnk10 radios
The mibs for these radios load fine. The problem is that I cannot use OPmanager to monitor RSSI. The mib is unavailable for use but some of the others mibs are available. Is it because the value returned is negative? Has anyone been able to get it to work? If so how? Did you have to modify the mib for it? I am using the mibs provided by the manufacturer. I have gotten them to work in other programs but I would prefer to monitor all my equipment in OpManager. Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

Associate Custom Monitors
I have two Foretinet firewalls one running firmware 2.8 and one running firmware 2.5. The 2.8 works well (except for a problem reporting the correct interfaces and their status...but I am working on that elsewhere). The problem I have is that the standard Fortinet CPU, Memory and session count Resource Monitors do not work. I have a set up three custom monitors to gather this information and they are working well. My question is, is it possible to assign those graphs to the three graphs at the top
Wrong IF Numbers with OpManager 5.6
I am having the same problem with my FGT60. I am using 5.6 build 5601. WAN2 is showing as WAN1 and it is also showing as down. I think it's all confused!
