Issue running report
We are having an issue with Opmanager 7 build 7025. When we run the "All Servers Disk Usage Report" the report only returns data for 1 Windows server and 4 Unix servers. We have close to 100 Windows servers. How can this be fixed?

Deactivating a notification profile
Hello! I have a SMS notification profile and I don't want to receive SMS for a couple of days. I don't want to remove the notification profiles from the devices and add it again because there are about 60 entries. Is there a posibility to deactivate it centrally? Or do I just have to delete the mobile number from the profile? Kind regards, Mok
error in api when trying to add monitor
Exception occured in savePolledData api this is what I get when I try and add a monitor to just one of my servers. I have tried deleting and readding the server several times. any thoughts?

Unable to fetch Managed Object
Since i updated OpManager to 7025, for all discovered devices in the infrastructure Snapshot, the details disappeared and only Status Message Unable to fetch Managed Object details for the object : "Computer Name" is displayed. ignore service down error in a defined time
hello its me again ;) is it possible to ignore a service down error between a defined time ? i�m shutting down sql service at night from 2am to 5am currently get error message with service down at night but i want to ignore that service down message n this time cause i know that the service is down -> scheduled task for shutting down sql-server is there a way to manage this? if not can you apply this feature in future? im sure some people who need this feature. thanks

hi, i added a device manual. if i now change to the server page the device is listed with IP how can i change it to the machinename? i added the machine with the ip address cause i got some error when i use the hostname ? some ideas ?
OpManager no longer sends out alerts
I am using the Free edition of OpManager 6.0 (build 6010) Everything was find until last week in terms of sending out alerts when a problem was detected. I've checked the SMTP settings and all are set. A test mail is delivered without issue. Each server has a notification profile attached to it indicating to send mail when an issue is encountered. Does anyone know why this could be happening?
How to specify SNMP v2c in Custom Monitor?
MIB Browser works for an OID with SNMP v2c setting but the same OID does not work in a new Custom Monitor. I tried to specify the Customo Monitor to use SNMP v2c but could not find that setting. This is for monitoring BigIP LTM1500 Memory Usage OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.1.45. I added it using Bulk Add. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Solaris CPU and Disk Dials/Reports
I have a bunch of servers running Solaris that do not show the Dials or report information for CPU or Disk Utilization. The dials and reports for Memory work fine. I can do snmpwalks and retrive all the information I need, what can be done to correct this?

hi everyone, when i log on to a probe go 2 admin -> rediscovery i can asjust the auto. rediscovery time but how can i deactivate it? i just can give him values between 1 and 15? i just like 2 manage some servers not the whole network (no desktops, no switches, no printers etc.. ) what can i do ? thanks Chris

Services associated to the wrong devices
Hello I've got a strange problem with my the opmanager 7025. if i try to associate a service to one or many devices with the quick configuration wizard, the services are always associated with the wrong devices. the problem occured in 7023 and 7025. i even tried to restore an old opmanager db backup but the problem still occurs. i attached a pdf which shows the problem with some screenshots, unfortunately the support information file is too big to attach it here. can you please help me?

We recently upgraded from version 6 to version 7 and I noticed the exchange monitors were either not reporting or showing false positives. I deleted the devices and re-added them but now the servers are not being recognized as Exchange servers. Has anyone run into this problem or know how to fix this?

Home selection on Toolbar for read-only access users
I know this has been discussed before but is there any way for OpManager users with read-only access to have a "Home" selection on the main toolbar? Why would this view not be available? It seems like a very useful feature for help desk and executive management operational overview. Also, I thought OpManager7 was going to offer the ability to select availability reporting with a daily operational time window (like 9am - 5pm /6am - 6pm by now. Hi there, My problem is: when i want to run ./StartOpManagerServer.sh i have this messages error: /var/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/apache/ssl/backup/ssl.conf: the file or directory does not exist /var/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/apache/ssl/ssl.conf does not exist i think the principal problem si when opmanagerserver start its can't find "ssl" directory, i tried generate them with ./ssl_gen.sh but i have the same problems (/var/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/apache/bin/openssl: the file or directory does not exist)

Unable to detect USB GSM Modem on OpManager
Hi, I'm trying to enable notification to be sent through SMS via a USB GSM Modem but doesn't work. The modem is detected properly by the operating system (vista) and am able to manually send and receive SMS but OpManager doesn't detect this modem. Unused Switch Ports
Is there an easy way to have OpManager ignore unused switchports? I get alarms on these when they aren't in use. I can click on the interface port and remove the monitor, but that is a lot of steps for a lot of ports. I wondered if there was a global configuration to ignore switch ports that aren't in use.

Hi, I'm trying to remove the 'ports down' message from alerts as they go up and down so often with machines going on and off. I've disabled it in 'SNMP trap processing' but they still seem to be coming through. How can i stop these? thanks, Matt

Hi, When I try to start MSP Probe on Ubuntu typing sudo ./startdms.sh it says generate ssl certificate using ssl_gen.sh. When typing sudo ./ssl_gen.dh it gives me a failure saying, ./ssl_gen.sh: 31: Syntax error: Bad for loop variable. What am I doing wrong, can anyone tell me how to start the probe on Ubuntu?

Service Reponse Time reports - no data available
Hello - i'm hoping somebody can provide some assistance in regards to the reporting page in Opmanager. At the moment some of the reporting works, and others doesn't - for example the 2 Detailed reports on the Server page work, but the Health report only shows availability but everything else appears as "No Data Available" The area i'm trying to get information out of is the Services section - where all options return the "No Data Available" If i go to any of the individual servers things are displaying

Issue with Alert
We recently upgraded to Opmanager 7 from 6 and are experiencing an issue with an alert. In Opmanager 6 I set up an SNMP monitor to monitor disk space usage. The name of it was "Partition Details". I then set up an alert to notify us when a partition was 95% used. The alert would be sent out to us via email stating the server name, the partition, and the value. Now when we receive the alert all it states is that the disk is running low on space but no value for which partition. Sample of Opmanager
